All the people asking why people is not dancing behind Louie. This event is at ADE, the most famous electronic music industry convention in the world, the people you see behind are attending meetings, conventions from early morning and 5, 6 events per day during one week. Behind there are important members of the industry like Mike Nervous, and other promoters and big friends of Louie as well, as their team. Also other staff members from Jackies who had been on the boat for more than 10 hours organizing the event so that the rest could dance. Believing that those of us who are behind, are the ones who dance the most when we go out to a party, but there are times when we have to work and be aware of other aspects of the event. Much love to everyone and lets jack
Haha, I do some insurance for Louie, Im not into house music, but out of curiosity and respect I decided to play this while cleaning my garage today. My garage isnt cleaned, but my whole family is dancing in it and I see the neighbors coming 😂 Great job Louie and good luck in Spain!
Taking me back in time with the “real house sound” As a Dj myself and around the same age. I’m proud to say that I patterned my style to be similar to his. Seamless blends and transitions.. and of course choosing tracks that just go well together. Big ups to the MASTER AT WORK himself the ageless one “LIL LOUIE VEGA” 💪🏼🎵🗽
Fred P is also the master in this style. Between the two of these legends you can't miss! Showing us the path and setting the standard as far as what it takes to grab people and keep them in the moment
Im 30 years old, I started my house music journey through dance, then I got into collecting Playlists and posting on Spotify. Now 4 years in and I am a DJ. I've molded my style of DJaying just as Louie Vega's. The way I select the next song, the way I blend, and transition at the right moment. EQ manipulation l, etc. It is truly phenomenal what Louie has created for us in the house music industries. 🎶 Thank you for blessing us with your talent.

My sentiments exactly! I remember when the dj was the least important aspect of the evening. Not that the dj wasn't important but the energy on the floor and dancing to the music along with that energy was where it was at, not staring at the dj as if waiting for them to levitate. With this said I am blessed to have been born and raised in NYC during the 80's and witnessed all of this unraveling from Larry Levan at the Paradise Garage and David Mancuso at Loft to LLV himself.
Hey their are some good DJ's that I've heard and I come way back to 1977 garage and the Loft yes so with that being said I remember when he started and he's a master go to he's history

Back in the Tunnel, the ORIGINAL Sound Factory, Red Zone, and Limelight we use to "SWEAT" like the classic song says dancing our fucking asses off until sunrise! These folks know nothing about that life. "House is a feeling that no one understands really unless you're DEEP into vibe of House!" Apparently, they're not truly DEEP into the vibe of House if that's all it's getting them to move. Just an observation from a true House Head! 👀♥️🏠🎶 #HouseMusicAllLifeLong
Couldn't of said it better myself, I hate that everyone faces the dj , nothing to see its not a concert, dance with your friends buzz of each other and other dancers whilst getting lost in the music. And don't get me started on phones on the dancfloor 🙄
Young people in their twenties don't even know how to dance. They've spent their whole life sitting down looking at a computer or walking around with that phone device. They need some black folks in there getting arms up and screaming and shaking their ass like they did on soul train. Looking at the DJ only to blow kisses and smiles and thums up and screams of appreciation especially for the legendary Vega!
