Wow!!!! Incredible place. Congrats to Ksenia for riding her first roller coaster. If this place was in America, it would be littered and run by drug dealers. Russians are so much educated.
When i visited Russia in 2020 and first learned about this place called an island of dreams" I hated the idea and it looked like a Disney knock off on pictures, however when i actually visited the place i changed my mind about it completely. You don't need to spend $400 to enter the place and you can enjoy the surrounding area, it's within the city limits you dont need to drive anywhere, you can go inside with your friends and chill on a grass, read a book or walk around visiting all the shopping malls, all without spending a dime. Also the atmosphere there is very liberal, i quite enjoyed it
It is so nice that it is indoors. Personally, I never minded the hot or cold weather but my parents always complain about anytime we go to a theme park.

The size of this place is amazing. $53 for the fast track is a great deal. I don't go to these places but my best friend loves Disney and goes every year. She pays around $125 per person for a fast track. I am glad Ksenia could experience this place. I thought it was cool.
in summer on a weekend it’s a good deal, in autumn on weekday it’s not so needed. but towards the end of the days it gets packed and it’s good to have if you have a favorite ride or want to spam the bumper cars😆
I live in about 20 min walk from this place and we love to visit it just for shopping and dining out with my family, actually I've never been inside the "Theme Park" part and not going to (I'm too old for this sort of fun) Dream Island had opened just in a couple of months before the COVID pandemics and lockdown, so they had a hard times with their business for a year or two, can't even imagine how they managed to cover their investments and operational costs.
Yes I agree the shops outside are awesome! I also admit it's good for little kids and grown people who have never used these machines. Ksenia bring in Siberia has little places of fun and has never used the machines so it was so fun watching her on them! Thanks for your input I forgot to mention that they have good shops outside :D

Know the feeling... 3 rides continuous... takes awhile for spirit to reconnect. Can see the 'disconnect' on Ksenia's face. Not a fan... but wow. That's an amazing place. Love the artistic nature and architectural engineering innovation it took to make this park. I've been watching how Russia is encouraging it's young people to take up science and technology. Although this is a park, it demonstrates Russia's innovation and space efficiency.

Very nice. I am planning to move to Moscow soon and I will definitely be going there. Ksenia was very brave. I have been to Busch Gardens and Disney World in Florida. This is a place that you don’t need to worry about the weather ruining your day.

That amusement park is pretty dang cool! My advice, never start off on the rides! If you get sick, it will ruin your trip. I am good with vertical spinning, but if it spins horizontally, I'll cough my cookies. You might want to explain to Ksenia what coughing your cookies mean. If I ever go to an amusement park, I always ride the rides which might make me sick last. Very cool video guys. I'd love to go there. It was so cute, Ksenia had a huge smile on her face the entire time.
10:02 there was a similar carousel in the “Sokolniki” park (metro Sokolniki) in the 1970s. My grandnother lived near metro Sokolniki and she often took me to the park to ride on some carousels. Behind the carousels there was a big forest with hundreds of squirrels. I liked to feed them.

Really enjoyed this video, it's like I was there with you guys and also had fun, and it brought up some good memories. I've been to the DisneyWorld and Universal Studio in Florida, Six Flags and Cedar Point in Ohio when I was younger. Thanks for the video Dan, and keep it up! I'd recommend you and Ksenia take the Golden Ring tour in summer. It will open up for you an amazing and very calming side of the deep Russian culture. The sights are beautiful, architecture is stunning, it's like a time travel a few hundred years back

It is a great park for family and kids. It does need more big rides I think though to attract teenagers more and young adults. There is room to expand to the sides at the front. 2 big coasters indoor size and a tower drop would be good.
I live in Moscow, but (at least now) don't want to visit this "plastic world" (how some people call it). (Years before there were similar attractions in Gorkij Park (+ there ara a bit smaller in Ismajlovskij Park) BUT MUCH CHEAPER!!!)
So cool the park was all indoors. I am so impressed with all I see of Russia, from so clean streets, new parks, all construction going on. Where does the money come from for all these improvements? Taxes are low there too. Compared to U.S. we are taxed to death for what? Wanted to ask when you get married will you then be able to live permanently there and do you still have to get residency or citizenship?
After marriage, the foreign spouse receives a residence permit. And it's not necessary to change citizenship, spouses can be citizens of different countries.

Rusland rather than Disneyland. I liked bumper cars when I was a kid. Now I would prefer to stay on ground munch on food. Some people like it.

Ну вообще-то, чтобы ДиснейЛэнд был фейком, нужно было бы, чтобы этот парк аттракционов стремился его скопировать, а это был просто другой парк без попыток скопировать ДиснейЛенд) Это я говорю учитывая, что я был и в американском и в парижском ДиснейЛенде и в ПортАвентура в Испании, который как раз его копия по части персонажей)

Waste of time. If she would speak Russian, it means that subtitles in English will be needed, which means that be needed to add them manually in the video editor, which means a lot more work, which means that the videos will come out a lot less often. And all for what?

It is a great park for family and kids. It does need more big rides I think though to attract teenagers more and young adults. There is room to expand to the sides at the front. 2 big coasters indoor size and a tower drop would be good.

(Years before there were similar attractions in Gorkij Park (+ there ara a bit smaller in Ismajlovskij Park) BUT MUCH CHEAPER!!!)

So cool the park was all indoors. I am so impressed with all I see of Russia, from so clean streets, new parks, all construction going on. Where does the money come from for all these improvements? Taxes are low there too. Compared to U.S. we are taxed to death for what? Wanted to ask when you get married will you then be able to live permanently there and do you still have to get residency or citizenship?
After marriage, the foreign spouse receives a residence permit. And it's not necessary to change citizenship, spouses can be citizens of different countries.
I think after I marry they will give me some sort of residence. this will suffice for me a permanent residency 🙏🏻
@@Wild-Siberia Yes, first you get a temporary residence permit, from one to three years, and at the end you get a permanent residence permit. But it is basically the same thing, just divided into 2 stages.
The taxes come from oil and gas extraction and other mining and energy-generation huge semi-state corporations. We do not just print our money, we earn it.
