As an English man I would say they are a great regiment and great men. I have the utmost respect for them and they should get the same full military pension and citizenship. As others have said, I’m glad they are on our side.
What is there not to love about the Ghurkas! They are an immensly proud brotherhood. Gentlemen in peacetime, incredibly brave and selfless in conflict. Thank god they're on our side! Our great nation needs to reward every single Ghurka soldier with a full military pension and citizenship. Lord knows they have worked and risked their lives for it
Indeed, rather than allowing people who trashed their own city, or stood by whilst their offspring trashed their city, but did nothing to assist the UK in any way.
Im Proud to say as an Englishman, that they're part of the best professional army in the world, And with that "The" Best Army in the world are made even better by the integration of our Nepalese Gurkhas brothers. 🇬🇧🇳🇵🇬🇧
Get in there guys! Well done! Proud of you all and thank you all for swearing allegiance too & protecting our Queen, our country and all of us too so thank you from me & my children. God Save Our Queen 🇬🇧🇳🇵.
I am not British, so I should not give my opinion over this. But when a soldier fights for your country. Does everything to keep the British people safe. In some cases lost their lives in serving Queen and country ( UK) Then they should be treated like any British soldier. The same pension, the same Nationality.
The campaign is bogus, if you bother to research the details, as was their hunger strike which none of the strikers suffered any ill effects from, it's an open secret in the regiment that is was fake.
It's nice to see that some things haven't changed, with the army losing so many old Regiments and traditions in the modernisation changes. Personally I always found the Gurkha to be a great guy with a good sense of humour, long may they wish to serve with us in the British Army.
We are so fortunate to have them in our armed forces. These are the migrants we want in this country. Offering everything and asking for so little. Bravo every single one of them.
My father's last posting before being demobbed in 1975 was at Penicuik with the Gurkha's and these guys are the most friendly people you will ever meet but i would not like to be on the otherside of them.
Technically mercenaries, but I would not like to get on the wrong side of them. I agree should have equal rights as any British soldier. They fight for the same monarch.
@@jimfrodsham7938 they already completed their training in December last year and have been qualified soldiers for almost a year. This ceremony only happened recently because it was delayed due to Covid.
I am ashamed of Nepalese, They proudly say gurkha and protect the Royal of British but doesn't respect the Royal of Nepal who gave them name as Gurkha 💔😞 ashamed of myself aswel
Forces News needs to get a grip again and show the respect due. Can understand that because of the stupid covid rules this has been delayed But, these soldiers have completed an operational tour, to class them as recruits is disrespectful to them. Forces News ruining a perfect representation of these brave soldiers!
British Forces news need to do a better job on spelling out name of gurkhas on their content...its all gibberish..this is not the first time i have noticed....its really disrespectful...how about some attention to detail..... asha dulacac for a gurkha is a strange name ...complete gibberish...

Absolutely agree with you and very well said.
Totally agree with your comment 1000%.

I agree.
Ap? I remember Andy tell me about them once and their boot

Glad they are on our side. Perfect soldiers in every sense...........
@Вивсі смокчіте don't be stupid.

@Вивсі смокчіте your brain is broken.
@Вивсі смокчіте Lol if British didn't hav any soldiers before then how could they war against Nepal "Gorkha kingdom" n become friends after the war ?
Good to see the Gurkhas have been issued with the latest A3's

These are splendid young men.

British army is lucky to have the Gurkha's ....... shame on the m.o.d not treating them equally regarding pensions
You don't know what your talking about and have fallen for propaganda.

Spoken like an ignorant colonialist
Your comment goes against what these soldiers fight for 😂
Brave, Courageous, Fearless and Honorable Men. What a breed of Warriors these fellas are.
My father went up India and into Burma with the 14th Army under General Slim. He had nothing but repect for the Gurkhas as fearless soldiers.
Most proud to have served alongside these amazing men.
massive respect to them
Shout out to the Gurkhas 🇳🇵 🇬🇧
Why does it matter to them? Because they are outstanding soldiers. The issue of equity in treatment needs to be resolved.
what?
Are they getting a full pension being discussed in Parliament today.
Well done guy. Congratulations on finally being able to graduate. Three cheers to the Ghurka Rifles.
very smart young men
Well done warriors. All the best for your futures.
Video title confused me for a moment. "Why's" normally refers to "why is" not "why does".
I had to check the video playback settings on my phone, they march in 2x speed!
One day I will be there with my hardwork
Excellent programme. Really enjoyed it. John Lawrence
Awesome, awesome warriors!!!!
Brits love our Gurkas - treat them fairly.
Now just to get you guys a pension sorted & citizenship if you want it.
My father's last posting before being demobbed in 1975 was at Penicuik with the Gurkha's and these guys are the most friendly people you will ever meet but i would not like to be on the otherside of them.
Congratulations gentlemen. To your duty.
superb warriors should be given full uk rights and proper pension
Respect warriors to your dutys
Handsomely done lads
Never did we have better. Our government should respect them
Go Tim..!
Congratulations to you all, well done.
May god bless you all with a long life.
Very Interesting.. Thankyou.
My dream is become a gurkha
outstanding
It seems as if that ceremony and actual fiction of the staff “truncheon” serves a similar purpose as the Roman Aquila.
Wonderful people
Very cool
Much respect !
Good video
British military history 💂🇬🇧
NEVER Mess with a Gurkha - You WILL lose!

What's the medal the recruits are wearing?
At the end it says its for deploying to Kosovo
@@bentalbot9299 oh I missed that Ben. Recruits deploying to Kosovo? Before they've finished their trg, I know they're Gurkhas but 😁
Yeah the reporter says Kosovo however the ribbon appears to be Afghan(ISAF)
