I bought 5 Royal Britannia 10 ounce bars from Hero. I agree the Royal Mint & The RCM are the best 10 oz bars! Come on US Mint...please produce a 10 oz and 100 oz bars!! Also the Mexican Mint for that matter! ¡Viva México!
I’m with you Florida Stacker, the Britannia and Maple 10 oz bars are the best out there. I have 2 Britts and 3 Royal Canadian 10 oz bars. Every time the Britannia’s are back in stock, I grab one. 100 oz Britannia is definitely a bucket list buy too! Thanks for showing those gorgeous bars!

I’ve come to love stacking 2,5, and 10 oz bars. Round and coins live in tubes and you rarely see them unless you dump them out. Bars are easily handled and seen,
I have 3 10 oz Bars on my work desk. 2x Silver and a Copper bar. I only have 1 American Eagle on my desk. Does that give you an indication on whether I agree or disagree with this statement? ;)
I love that British silver and gold. I think it’s hard wired in my Norwegian DNA. For some strange reason I see British metals and think to myself “That should belong to me.” Weird.

Those bars are not vacuum sealed, they are just sealed so sometimes they tarnish from the air thats already inside that plastic sleeve. Vacuum sealing would with using those food saver machines.
I like the bars you have there, I've had a few come and go, I'm considering stacking some 10 oz. Bars, I have Britanias, I love the quality of them and the bars reflect the same quality as far as I can see.👍

Great 10oz bars. It's what I sometimes buy. I would have a heart attack buying a 100oz bar and possibly seeing it tone, turn black on the edges.. Or milk spot
get yourself a cheap foodsaver and vacuum seal'em up to have zero tarnish... no pvc in food safe bags either so it's good to go.... as a bonus you can buy some meats on bulk sale and deep freeze'em
Agreed. I spent $5 more with Aydin then I would at Liberty for my last purchase. But Aydin actually talks to me, asks me what I want, responds to email, etc. I can't get that even with 14K subs from the big bullion houses.
Right on! 10 oz bars are a big part of my silver stack as well. I bought a couple of Kilos this year and I feel it's a great size. I am however planning on getting a 100 oz RCM bar at some point and time.
Royal Mint bars are of the highest premium newly minted silver bars and people pay extra because they are pretty but sorry folks when it comes time to sell they really don’t reap the revenue like they would like you to think. Silver bars always reap a couple bucks back unless they are truly collectors items for which I am a stacker not a collector. Don’t get caught up in the hype because when it comes to silver bars pretty doesn’t mean premiums nor profit, it’s just a dealer selling point!
I'm waiting for shipment of a 2022 Niue kilo coin bar, so stoked for my first bar. The premium was very low, 32 oz of silver at the price of 27 Maples. I wonder how pretty the bar really is. The silver Pamp bar looks perfect!
Each year I see the word ‘new’ associated with these 10 ounce Patania bars, it makes me wonder are there any changes from year to year. Reason being when I look at other 10 ounce bars that are for sale they don’t have the word new beside them even though they are not secondary

That would be cool! I think they do look fantastic! I'm just hyper focused on closing out some of my stacking goals and try to avoid distractions (mostly) until I hit them. Trust me, once I've got my Monster Boxes and bags of 90% I'll be all over 10oz coins and other interesting silver products.
Yes. I paid in the $2600 range. Premium was high. But the collectible nature of the bar is high. Should appreciate with spot and low supply. At least that's my justification lol
Picked up 3 of the 10 oz Britannia before they were sold out. Should have bought more. I was checking JMB everyday and almost fell off my chair when I saw they were available. Didn't hesitate in ordering. If I were to sell in the future these would not be on the table. I have the RCM and Sunshine 10 oz bars as my base mainly due to their security features. Thinking of putting one of each in a capsule for viewing.
So, I bought some AirTite capsules for my 10 oz bars. And how is the fit, you ask? The 'JM BULLION' bar fits nice and snug into the AirTites. But, they are NOT a good fit for the 'SUNSHINE MINTING' bars. The 'top' comes off much too easily. I dropped one bar twice, and both AirTite capsules broke into several pieces. Hmmm? I'm going to buy an 'APMEX 10 oz bar next, and will hope for better luck.
There are several Apmex options out there. Are you thinking the stackers that are minted by the Scottsdale Mint? Those are some nice bars that I think you will like. Yeah the capsules are pain and so i just keep 2 bars in the capsules to use for the videos.

Love those Britannia’s but why buy something you risk getting milk spots on? I just got into stacking this year as well and bought a 100 oz RCM bar and two 10 oz RCM bars. I don’t know if the RCM puts their mintshield on their bars or if it’s strictly on their coin bullion from 2018 and up but I’m hoping the bars I bought have it also. The RCM bars also have serial numbers which I thought was an added bonus over the Royal Mint. I also really like what Pamp Suisse does with theirs. I bought a 5 oz gold Lady Fortuna as well and it came with an assay card along with a quick scan QR code. I thought that would be all my purchases this year but then I saw the 2022 Perth Tigers and had to buy a 1 oz gold and a few more silver. The silvers came today and they’re stunning! The gold 1 ouncer comes tomorrow…. I hope it looks as good as the silver ones do!
I'm not bothered by the possibility of milk spots on silver bars. There is no numismatic premium to lose. Premiums are higher on sovereign silver bars just as premiums are higher on sovereign silver coins over generic products. Congrats on your purchases, I think they are good buys but then again they are what I buy as well so may be biased lol. Yes the Perth mint puts out some premium products. The tiger looks like a nice coin.
Finding cheap capsules for these bars is hard to source. In the UK I had to pay 10 pounds (sterling) and the only company selling them was in Canada! Ace stack btw.
Man they are beautiful. It suck’s Britannia 10 oz. isn’t .9999 fine, I personally only buy 10 oz Canadian mint which hits my .9999 fine quality. I’m weird but I just prefer the Canadian Mint for stacking Bars. Even rounds I only buy .9999 Fine silver and Gold. Just my preference

RCM is my favorite to stack. Great choices here. Question….. Would you be a buyer of a US MINTED 10oz silver bar?
I would but the premiums would probably prevent me from it. The United States metals have been way to high of a premium for the last 1-2 years.

I have now 226.3oz in 10oz poured, Flat Stamped and two Poured Kilo bars. I like both kind of bars. Forgot my 2 1oz bars.
I always just get silver in rounds and some junk silver from bank rolls

Does the 100oz. Britannia bar purchase come with a "standard" Storage/Display Case...? not all of my 100oz. bars did but my [9-FINE MINT] did.

Why would a Silver bar tarnish if it's sealed in air tight plastic.?
I wish I had a scientific answer for you but unfortunately I do not know. All i can say is that it is not uncommon to see on aging silver bars
