Just imagine, the tech tree EBRs were also originally going to have this double-tap autoloader. Think of how toxic the pre-nerf EBR 105 would've been if it *also* had the Bourrasque's autoloader.

The BZ line was supposed to have derps like the 176, glad they didn't.
Let's hope they don't sell the BZ 176 anymore, it's even more toxic.
I still think they should nerf the BZ by making it Tier 9. The compensation for that nerf would be that BZ owners would gain the ability to grind bonds with it.

it is, it has tier 8 hp, tier 10 alpha, tier 10 armour (litterally better alpha and armour than tier 10 bz75) tier 8.5 mobility and tier 7 pen. It could be a tier nine without a hp buff. it is litterally a skoda that can do its clip damage in one shot, with a lower lower plate armour setup (known for being op on tanks ie original 268 v4) and a turret that 340 heat cant pen when using gun depression, unlike skoda which has cheese hull a massive coupolar and a cheek of 220mm
I actually really like the Lynx. True, it's hopelessly outmatched by the EBR 75, but in itself it's a pretty decent tank, and it's fun to play with.
You are wrong sir, the lynx is horrible! It needs at least 10m more view range so that it has a small advantage over the ebr 75.
True, it's a bit of a underrated gem, I feel. Plus it looks darn good. Only sucks in the view range department.

God this thing gives me PTSD, I just moved on from the lynx 6x6 and it was like God would come over the ridge and strike me down for even trying to have a fun game that day.
Do any of you remember way back when War Gaming removed the original tier 6 T-50-2 from the game just because it was annoying for tier 10 players to hit? It seems like lots changed since
I feel like WG will put this on a sale sometime in a future in some crazy bundle like the Pz II J or the E25
They sometimes sell the E25 just for gold, so it isn't always in a crazy bundle
They'll put it in The Feast and it'll cost $2000 for every premium ever sold on NA or EU.
Remember they said they would never sell the E 25 but did anyway. They will eventually sell it, probably when they are low on profit and want to make quick money.
? They practically gave E 25 away to everyone (super easy mission that you finished without even knowing you were doing it)
@@coosmac which server? On EU there never was such a mission. The only time this tank was "widely" available, before the overpriced packages, was ingame for gold (like the ELC Even or Löwe is right now)

E25 in today's MM is not that OP anymore. It is a fun tank to play no question about it but far less dangerous or OP than EBR. The problem with wheels is that WG just left them as they are-beside that small HE nerf. Only tanks which can be hit multiple times without pen-and continue going

Two round autoloader with short intra clip really is the perfect sweetspot, cause if you need to you can quickly kill two low health tanks, or you can deal a significant amount of damage to someones back and or side then back away and reload before they can even point their gun at you to shoot back.
And then because it's only a two shot autoloader your reload isn't even that long.
You could make the argument that if they sold more of these, the mm would be more balanced by matching EBR vs EBR instead of EBR vs Lynx
It really wouldn't. It would only exponentially increase the gap between the ebr and all other vehicles in the matchmaker. Imagine playing against an EBR every single game
it would be more balanced for Lynx drivers. Less balanced for everyone else.
Got this from a loot box I think and have been doing everyone a favor by not taking it out to the battlefield. It’s just sitting in my garage gathering dust.
I got mine 100% free cuse i was luckily on holidays but i only played 4 battles with it and yes against a Lynx it´s too OP and a bit toxic to MM but not so bad like the BZ-176. I tryed them both and are so broken that i never went for a ride with it again... WG unfortunately will sell this again, bundles, auctions, whatever, they already sold other OP tanks on ocasion.

I still think that wheeled light tanks should have terrible dispersion on the move, just like how the cs-63 has bad accuracy in the turbo mode
Exactly. If they had to stop and fire they would be more ok. Also they shouldn't have high pen HE because WG said they would lose a one on one fight with tracked lights and that NEVER happens
Add a limited view range too, now only the most sweaty players with enough money can maximize the view range of the ebr.
Then give them some viewrange at least

Make them inaccurate but they get a ridiculously low aim time and rewards stationary ebrs.
I remember when shot that tank with my FV215b 183 with Hesh round... just "hit the weels" and 0 Dmg...
Make sense right? Tactical nuke vs 10mm armored car. No dmg to car. Same for hitting just the track on any other vehicle without damage. Long live the HE nerf update. /s
If WG hadnt completely ruined HE shells, they wouldnt have been that hard to deal with. An easy fix would be to bring back the better HE mechanics that they ruined for no reason and also make it so the wheels take full HE damage when hit. Hitting an armored car with 16mm side plates with HE and doing ZERO damage is really trash development. If a dev can stand by that and be proud of that mechanic, they should be flipping burders at McDs.
While being bullied, utterly cornered but still having 70kph momentum, I once drove up a cliff with this thing, did and entire 180 left corkscrew flip and drove down the same cliff. I auto aim killed 2 tanks doing this manoeuvre and was able to close out 4v1 end game.. utter joke
Meanwhile, I had my full hp tier 8 premium brit wheeled vehicle drop of a 2m cliff. Boom dead by impact.

@MrToastyBuns I do but I think the version doesn't load. I was gonna send it to that YT'er who does comedy/compo videos, (not gonna say his name) but he became a bit of a bad guy so never did. I'll have a look
ELC tests you accuracy, EBR tests your Ping. My ping is around 70-100 ms and even with whatever software they use to mitigate the issue I rarely bother to shoot at these if they're moving full speed as it's not worth the shell.
well my ping is 220ms on average, that's why I suck mostly.

I've been waiting for now 2 years for it cme out in the shop or at Christmas. bt god , it's the only one I want, back in the days , when the marathon came out, I did 8 stages, but didn't have any money to buy it even with a discount. biggest regret in my wot history ;(

The EBR is a great vehicle to get some air with when RNG just says no and gives you 9 losses in 10 games due to moronic teams. I want the BZ176 for that reason too..
I've hit EBRs center mass with no pen many times before. The wheels are spaced armor after all. So you can hit dead on and bounce or HEAT/HE just doesn't pen.
The type 59 was also the holy grail for a long time, but was sold again at Christmas
Yeh but it got nerfed into the dirt. Now it's just "ok" but its penetration is definitely on the very low side for teir 8 tanks which makes it very challenging to play. Gotta throw gold 100% of the time against 9 and 10's just to have a chance.
The Type 59 was never as good as it rep, it was one of the first prems that were better than tech tree (a bit rather than being worse) and also wolfpack mediums were a common tactic back then which the type 59 excelled at especially if you were in a 3 type platoon to get the wolfpack going.
5 lvl arty and e25 say HELLO to everyone, they will add this ebr to the store anyway
Here's an idea for ebr nerf... Remove the 2-shot autoloader and give it only 1 shot, if people want refunds give them refund but also highlight that if you demand for a refund, the tank would also be removed from your garage. I wouldnt expect too many people would want to give up on the car...
I would.
And a refund for my bond equipment, crew books etc please.
Ramming Lynxes in the EBR is comedy gold
The EBR on frontline is hilarious. You can plug the last objective turrets in the weak spots with HE as I remember unless they buffed the frontline turrets. I once single handedly took a turret down in just a couple minutes doing about 90% of the damage.
The ONE time I could not do the mission marathon was this tank... and Im the big sad over it...
This motivated me to dust off my ebr and master it better now
they wont sell this, but the elc even 90 is available permanently in the shop??. Also the elc is the cheapest tier 8 premium tank for sale! I do not understand this at all. The elc is far more toxic imo, it makes playing any other light tank way harder, cause you cant out-spot it. Even if you know exactly which bush he is sitting in, its hard to blind-shoot it cause its so small. Most of the games I see any of the wheeled vehicles they are dead during the first 2 minutes of the game. WG logic.

Hi ! Quicky .. You could make a video about the usefulness of tanks, for example, if you play with a tier 8 medium vs a tier 8 heavy tank, which one produces more experience and damage!
I keep looking at how Wg heavy tanks can't penetrate the shield of Tank destroyers. WHY use Regular wg Heavy tanks in the game if the armor is worse and also the gun. gl !
I was selected to beta test this tank in NA. It was so much fun, but I agree, its absolutely not fair in this tier.

I got it for free in the marathon, played it a fair bit in the FL around that time but have never played it since. Amazing crew trainer though, managed to get the crew to just over 4 skills just in that one FL.

The other thing is that makes it slightly more OP is i don't believe it received all the nerfs the techtree wheeled vehicles did cause it's a premium tank smh lol so while the other wheeled lights got some top speed nerfed movement dispersion and got a huge speed nerf to its damaged wheels the EBR 75 HOWEVER DID NOT 😂 so yeahhhh it's always just gonna be more OP then other techtree wheeled light tanks there instantly heh
The whole tech tree got their HE pen nerfed to 75mm. They made it the same as the premium that way it at least prevented some unfair outcomes.
I recently got the Lynx 6x6 and trying to play that thing stock is so painful, ran into a platoon of one EBR 75 and 2 Bours. I was in my stock Lynx. I died before I was able to blink. The EBR and Bours spotted me and were ontop of me in seconds.
So in short...we will see it on Xmass, in those juicy boxes lol.
they could nerf it and re-release it named the EBR 75... and leave the actual EBR 75 (FL 10) the way it is never selling it again..
I shot an EBR side on with a JPE100 AP round, and it bounced.

If they wouldn't sell tanks that kill the match maker, the BZ 176 wouldn't even exist.
They wrecked the game with ebr so they decided to level up their stupidity and release the BZ176
So, I sent WG a ticket complaining and giving a solution to this tank and the BZ-176. I told them I am 100% for NOT nerfing premium tanks. So what does that do to help deal with these two tanks. It doesn't help. The solution I presented was, put these back on sale. That way people have the opportunity to buy them and the more of them in the game the more balance it will bring. WG's response was, "We ask you to follow the news". Seems like they might be thinking of putting these two back on sale.

I don't have any wheeled tanks yet.. But also think they should do same thing with ELC even 90 if 1 team has one the other side should have one.. no other light can match the camo/spotting..

Can't believe how WG trolled us with the Brit armoured cars, they're so sluggish, can't turn, crap camo for something so small and you're dead Fcuked when hit - slow crawl with punctures, engine & crew injury. Yet the french AC scream around undeterred when hit.

Would love WarGaming to admit the armour is troll and the EBR 75 should be overmatched and slowed more often than not (35% speed reduction, then stopped if two wheels are taken out. Damaged wheels cause worse traverse speeds). Ideally the EBR should have lower armour thickness values. Make it so same tier and tier IX tanks can pen the car.
To do all of this WG has to do is submit a poll of EBR 75 owners and ask them to test the tank out on a super test server. If enough players agree to this, WG can ‘nerf’ an overpowered tank. The tank will still be good but its more within the realm of something your team can destroy.

They sold it as a rental, if I’m not mistaken.
The only thing i have spent money on was this tank and it was because i had no light tanks and needed to the missions so i went for it, now i don't even play it
I was doing 3 MoE on lynx and this EBR is pain...
Many players don't know how to play it effectively though.
As a console player...( hold for booing, hissing..) the EBR75 is a bit nerfed. The camo rating is much worse. Still great on bushy maps, but open sandy maps are run n gun nightmares

They could "nerf" it. Uh...doubt they will EVER nerf it. It's a "premium" vehicle. And last time one was nerfed, there was an uproar with threats and demands for money back. Even though it is warranted, I doubt they will go that route with the EBR.
And honestly, I would rather them BUFF all tanks to a more balanced location in the game instead of nerfs.
Though, WG either overnerfs, overbuffs, or barely changes anything. So, it's not exactly an easy idea in either direction.

It's not nearly as game-breaking as the Bourrasque - it can be outspotted and its' firepower is a lot less dangerous. I can't remember the last game I felt underpowered because of this tank in comparison with other OP T8 premiums

I'm of the opinion that if it's allowed to remain in the game then they are obligated to sell it at all times for a reasonable price. Nobody should have to face a tank they can't ever play themselves.
