Wow, thanks QB! I been following your channel for years now, back when I was active on Asia server. I given up hope that anyone will look at that replay :) It is worth to give props to the team, because in other matches, I do same play and no one hits anything. Also, I am not nearly as good as that replay make me look. The stars aligned on that one. Currently taking a break from WOT, but your content remains a delight.

gotta give yourself more credit, it takes a fair bit of skill (and just a tad bit of good luck) to be an average scout. and you have learned the number 1 rule of don't shoot aha

Enemy team also had manticore and fv4005 platoon ,from same UA_3C clan, so possible rigging?
If you look across both teams there's a LOT of nicknames that contain UA for Ukraine. This is fishy.

They could also just be flooding the MM. I’ve been in clans that do that to see who they would get and other times it would happen by accident

joker was playing a game with his platoon mate and 2 enemies, they were all in the same clan and had the same platoon setup (manticore and fv4005), maybe some kind of challenge?
These two battles perfectly show how powerful the CVS is in the game. It completely revolutionized the way light tanks play, dramatically accelerating games in these open maps where previously there would be many draws. That piece of equipment is so strong that in some medium tanks the impact can also be great like in the Bourrasque or even the Leopard 1. If one day a bounty version and, let's hope not, a bond version appear, the numbers will be close if not at 30% mark reduction for bushes camo value. CVS, Optics and Exhaust. Simple as that
I use it on my scouting build on BC25 and enemies can sometimes get, let's say, surprised. It's awesome.
Nice games but still I am concered about the first one. Both ally and enemy light tanks are in the same clan and they have the same comp. maybe they could've talked to each other..
Improbable, the enemy manticore made all the normal plays that one would make on that map. He just got outplayed

I was about to say this, manticore wouldn't have fired in that situation and gotten spotted, they rigged it no questions asked. That being said it was still a good game how he played it

I dont want to degrade the battle from the first replay, but did he cheat? I mean in the enemy team is also a manticore and FV4005 from the same clan. Nevertheless this is an amazing game!
Very impressive. now THIS is a show of skill i respect. by far the best scouting i have seen.
I havent played for many years but I do recall my xp record being on Prokhorovka in my original t-50-2 sitting in a bush in a forward position. Made about 20k+ spot damage also. Happy days and boy was the t-50-2 a fun tank pre the physics update :D
Others might hate these maps, but as a simple spectator, I think they're a good change of pace. Thanks for sharing, QB.

This for some reason reminded me of the good old ELC AMX days. Before it was completely destroyed by nerfs... When it was actually really fast too not just super sneaky.
Although back then tier 5 lights could meet tier 8s. And tier 9 and 10 lights didn't exist.
9.17.1 ELC Stats vs. 9.18 stats:
Top speed: 65kmh ---> 60kmh
Engine power: 250 ---> 180 (37hp/t down to 26.6hp/t with same ground resistance)
dpm: 1200 ---> 1000
Penetration: 170mm ---> 120mm
The MM doesn't like to give you Prok if you're playing a light. I love these two maps, why does WG not make any more like them?

I think the fallback was perhaps trying to remove any feeling of pressure on the Manti... I took it as kind and team player rather than anger or wanting a kill... after all the Manti showed he was very patient and disciplined with regard to shooting, which is what after all lost the other side their Manti... A.,

you could drop bond optics for bond vents if you must QB, vision system and flat camo on move is more valuable
Optics adds more to bush reduction than Vents helping VS would. Not worth dropping it imo.

Man imagine if you got a team that could shoot enemies worth 18 thousand spotting. My apes always manage to not kill the enemy light tanks I spot for them for 14,88 seconds on my 8-skill crew, because when I get Prokhorovka once every 2 months I foolishly expect my team to understand to *shoot, the fcking, lights*
But at least they're having fun why win when can camp and not shoot)))))))
Love how this guy didn't even have to spot the enemy light, just went camping for 15 perceived minutes and still got a god-tier game. Matchmaker is ssssooo fun

He Q .. got a question? When scouting in bushes does speed impact ure camouflage rating? When I press the R. Key I kan move forward in 3 different speed. When I go slow is my camouflage rating better then I go full speed?
damn. I did 11k in the T49 wen it was still tier 8 and I thought that was good, aced it without a shot fired but these are pretty insane

This tank was considered very bad at the time they introduced British lights. I guess those early assumptions were wrong.

I have spotted 8 of the enemy and kept them spotted for 2 min+ and got ZERO assist because my team refused to shoot.
Thats insane loool imagine what the enemy team was thinking 😂😂😂 he never got spotted or fired a single shot once LOL then the enemy checks team stats and realize "oh... wow so thats what happened..."

Hi QB, with the map changes that were put into place, this whole concept wouldn't have worked anymore in the same effectiveness with the 2nd position he took.

I have an replay but can't upload it to wot repleys. I played an EBR 105 on redshire with 14,6K spotting. Don't know if its replay worthy
I did 14K spotting with my LT432. never got on YT :( But these games are master scouting.. GG to all
520m view range? I am at 498 with the same equipment, plus field mods selected for vision, would food and a directive really raise that to 520?

How to make a good scouting tank: step 1 be tiny. Step 2 have at least 380m viewrange...
Like 75% of the time you don't even need to use your gun so some tanks might actually be better if you could remove the turret and gun... like the M41 Bulldog for example.

Does MM let 2 manticores per game? A lot of comments are talking about how the 2 clanmates on the enemy team, back several years ago my clan did this thing for fun where we tried to hit battle to get on the same side instead of the opposite. It’s sus, but I want to give it the benefit of the doubt since Joker still played a light tank very well

I would counter the word "outplayed" the enemy Manticore as the players tank equipment was likely just better. If the enemy Manticore was free to play and didn't have bond equipment then what could they have done to outspot them?

This has probably been brought up several times... And maybe you have even said something about this in the past Quicky.. I would just like to try to maybe petition here about the premium time. It's pretty absurd you buy premium time and even when you aren't playing, the time still ticks down and wastes away. What about the players that maybe only get 1-4 hours a day to play? That's 23-20 hours of premium time just flushed down the toilet. I wouldn't mind paying a little bit more if the premium time only ticked when you were playing the game.
Also, what about when we lose power and internet/signal due to a storm? Or maybe the provider has technical issues. What if you just bought a weeks worth of premium time, yet you can't play any because it just so happens you lose your signal/internet right after you bought it lol. That may be an extreme example, but I'm sure it probably has happened a few times before.

They are my two favorite maps in every tank except heavies, even then it's not too bad if it's only 1 arty.

This is an exceptional game, Most of the top tier LT tier 9 and T10 don't come close to 50% win rate. Realistically, play to lose. Thanks to wargaming. they should re balance the game.
You don't fire shots in your t10 light tanks because you're lighting the entire enemy team at all times and thus you don't have to.

Wow lots of spoting indeed. But I am still angry wargaming nerfed mytier 5 chafee mine had 527 view range and a top speed of 77 it was so much fun but they killed it with update .9.17 when they removed scouts. I guesss they where preparing for the wheeled vehicles and they did not want people to like tier 5 too much for some reason. Oh and happy new year every one.

If someone wants to see the best scout gameplay, claus kellerman posted it recently... Not this one that is using a top scouting tank with bonds equipment and then staying in one place the whole game

The enemy Manticore in game One was of the same clan. They set this up. You should report them for cheating instead of praising them. The "mistake" the enemy Manticore made was so obvious, he just fired/drove out of the bush for no reason.
I noticed that enemy manti made an unexpected silly mistake in tier10. When others pointed out 4 players are in same clan that makes sense now.
Damn, my record is 18125 spotting on Prok with my T-100 LT. I clearly need to step my game up.

WG has destroyed scouting in this game. The view range and camo saturation with field mod min/maxing and CVS has completely trivialized scouting in WOT. If your light get's unlucky or plays bad on Prok or Malinovka your chance of winning drops to near zero. Any moron can have these huge games now because anyone who dare try to dig you out or make another play will be lit up at max view range. Before you had to actually choose your path carefully and get better sightlines but now CVS just negates the need for that completely. Same shit happens with every potato playing an ELC even 90.
