No mate, I check the shrimp every day to see if they are near the surface or having any other problems but so far, there doesn't seem to be an issue with oxygen levels.
How do u deal with the water changes in the jar? I had a similar set up but most of them died because of white rings of deaths or just mysteriously and i dont know why.
I fill a bucket with water, add some shrimp salt to it to increase its gH, leave the bucket for an hour or two so it settled to room temperature to match the jars water then do the water change and add a little tap water conditioner.
@@GlassBoxDiaries thanks. I recently set up a small walstead vase and am trying to figure out how long to leave the light on. My room does get alot of sunlight in the afternoon.

How long do you leave the lights on, and do they get sunlight?
They dont get any sunlight and this jar gets 8 hours of light per day.
