    WOW! what an amazing talent you have. The way you sewed your fabric reminded me of "Crazy Quilting" I love to sew but I don't think I could ever come close to such a beautifully put together journal. I just don't have that kind of imagination. I have been collection different things like napkins pieces of different pretty fabric and lots of lace. lol ...Maybe this summer while I'm quiet at my camp I could attempt it. Do you know of any videos that I could watch to nudge me in the right direction. ..Irene Cloutier ...JJJ, TJJ.

    Ronda if I can please ask you a few questions about your techniques? all of your items seem so flat and smooth? Are you ironing and/or starching your items before you attach? Also before you stitch your items, you gluing them down?

    • @RondaWinsteadRondawithoutanH
      @RondaWinsteadRondawithoutanH  7 років тому

      I iron my fabrics before I stitch them down, unless I want the wrinkly look? But other than that, I am just layering them in ways that look pleasing to me? On occasion, I may use a bit of glue just to tack something down before stitching...I have been asked to do a "how to" video about my process, and I will do after I complete a couple of deadline projects I have going. Thank you for watching my video!

      @retroredux1 7 років тому

      Ronda Winstead thank you so much for your response. I really love your style. do you belong to Trashy junk journals and the fabric collage group on Facebook?
      I just watched your video about the mixed media pages that you put into the journal and that answered a lot of my questions. I've been playing around with the idea of combining the idea of trash journal and a fabric Journal and I always was trying to figure out how I would make the pages stay stiff so they wouldn't flop over. I see from that video that you use one side fabric on one side paper. have you ever tried to use both size fabric? And if so do you put anything in between the two pieces of fabric to give it some body?

    • @RondaWinsteadRondawithoutanH
      @RondaWinsteadRondawithoutanH  7 років тому

      I do belong to all three of Rosemary Morris's facebook groups...I actually don't necessarily use one side fabric, one side paper...it just depends upon the effect I want? I will take time to explain my process when I do a process video...stay tuned!

      It was on facebook, where you posted the question. I'll share here as well...I use a Sony HD HVCHD Handycam and put it on a tripod...I'm really not that good regards electronics, etc, but went shopping, had a good sales person show me lots of different options and this is what I picked. I do like it...
