During the sub prime crisis when i just left NS, was working in NUH as a labtop technican to replace old labtops with newer models. Most of the time i was assigned to depressing wards like cardiac dept, premature dept, children cancer ward, children NKF ward, ICU ward to replace labtops. All these sight of parents besides their child, made me appreciate my healthy self and learn to count my blessings.

This is an amazing video put together by the team, and the various perspectives shared by everyone here were so thoughtful.

Omg how about we call her down and we could talk. I had exactly rhadomyosarcoma too when I was 10 years old and I'm currently 27. I kinda got goosebumps when she said rhadomyosarcoma because that is extremely rare. I'm happy to see she's well though!

I'm so sorry to hear that. In fact I've seen boys and girls as young 10 years old given chemo drugs and going rounds of surgery.

This comment is going to come off really late but if the OGS team read this, maybe you can try having your participants sitting lower, like either on the floor with lots of comfortable pillow and ideally something to rest on, or a really soft couch or 2 single sofas. The idea I am having is that when the person that is sharing the story is sitting lower, he or she might feel more grounded and safer when sharinga vulnerable story. Sometimes recounting painful or traumatic memories might leave them giddy or light headed and having something to lean on will provide comfort and stability.

Cancer survivors seem more able to relate to one another.

Sorry to heard that. It is worth to try going on a carnivore diet. There are many researches out there as well as succesful document cancer recovery patients on this diet.

Eat in moderation, try intermittent fasting, try more organic food and minimise fast food. Exercise more if possible.
