I bought all your packages and am a big fan of your Work, but can you Tell me which preset I should use for shoegaze Vocals?
Shoegaze has a variety of vocal sounds. You will want to experiment for sure to find what is best. I often hear a good bit of distortion in those vocals, either a small room reverb or a big chamber verb can sound cool for those vocals as well. It’s gonna take experimenting for sure!

Not sure if this happens to anyone else but, everytime I mix with one of these presets and put a mastering preset on. Check everything and make sure it's not clipping. I'll bounce the track out and the audio sounds distorted -_- what am I doing wrong, so confused

2 is my most up to date with busses so I’d go with that!

Yes the presets will be very similar in FL. You can still tweak to taste.

Every voice is different but yes a lot of the presets made were using different variations of the AT mics.

When you’re mastering at the end you just match it to the leveling meter, but what about the colored meter? Yours was on red which means it was clipping right? Isn’t that a bad thing?
always make sure you set limiter threshold to at least -0.1 on the master so it won't ever go red. but yes when it shows red in the color means threshold is not set.

Hey bro, is there a rule of thumb for you how loud/which level you set your beat and how load/which level you set your vocals in the mix?
So, beat -5dB and Vocals -9dB?
beat -12 to -15 RMS , and Vocals -20 RMS

I just have a question. When u drag a track in at the top, does that track have to already be mastered? And your mastering presets only apply to the vocals or does it master everything? Sorry I'm new n don't quite understand
if you get a beat from youtube, it is normally mastered. the master chains are the very last thing you do to your song after you have recorded vocals and mixed them. the vocal presets are for the vocals, not the master chains

hey man one more question, how do you group a few different tracks into the track stacks with the busses?.. for example I have 4 harmonies with the same harmony preset on it, just wondering how do group them without having to put the same presets on 4 tracks
@@pdz8701 Go into your sends, and find the bus that has the presets you want and select it for that track. Imagine the bus pool is a water source in a neighborhood. All of the houses has the potential to access it.....you just have to extend a line to it to bring water into your house.

What’s the main difference between Vocal sauce 2 & melodic sauce ? I purchased Vocals sauce 2
melodic sauce is more based around singers/rappers with melodic cadences. vocal sauce 2 will work with those as well but there are also many other options available, along with the ability to buss which is only in Vocal sauce 2

It's not made for Cubase. it's made for Logic Pro, FL, Pro Tools, Ableton, and Studio One.
