I agree sometimes there is a slight pitch mishap but I can tell the major issue is the person singing along with PTX.
singing the 30th song and trying key is the least of their worries at that point. Straining the vocal cords when there is another show to be done major worry. People need to understand why that is happening. It's call self preservation. 🙄
You are right. It took me a min to figure out that it's whoever is singing around the person filming that is off. I was looking forward to hearing this in a different setting than their TV special or video. They did a great job filming the song.
Wow...now thar was a surprise, Matt! I love the performances of Pentatonix. They soothe me to the core of my soul. Mitch still has the prettiest voice I’ve ever heard. I’m 73 and I would certainly adopt Mitch ♥️

In fact most concerts during the month of February 2020 were already called off, this is one of the only major concert that still went ahead.
Ya, they’re having major sound issues here. When Scott takes over the Bass, he just stops singing it and keeps touching his ear to have his ear piece fixed or have more sound put into it, and although it may seem like it’s the person in the audience that makes Kirsten sound flat on her high note, she has pulled out her ear piece and is immediately struggling to hear anyone else, and you can see her grabbing at it and playing with it trying to get something to hear. By the end, she had it back in but is putting her hand on her earpiece again. That’s not something singers do because it helps (though that’s the usual myth), it’s usually used as a sign for the sound engineer to fix the earpiece and put more sound into it so that they can hear everyone else and hear themselves.

Matt clearly got off to almost a whole note on his solo from Scott key. Kirstin and Mitch got caught off gaurd and lost the harmony until their solos. Maybe because they got tired already, seeing this may be the last song.
I did not like the high note that Matt did. That wasn’t the way the part was supposed to be sung and I think it took away from that part of the song. He needs to sing it as a bass and not with a falsetto.
