I kinda liked the diablos supercharger in fh3, much more dramatic then modern superchargers in fh5 Edit: another honourable mention being the Enzo from fh4 which copy pasted the la Ferrari motor which wasn't accurate itself and was so disappointing. Luckily it got fixed in 5 and sounds much better
Same here to be honest, I loved how exaggerated and unique it was to every other sound but it was a little OTT hence I put it in this video. And yeah, that V12 sound was reused on SO many V12 cars including the Apollo IE which was annoying lool
The supercharger shouldn't dominate the whole sound of the car so much, you should also hear only V12 or V8 and in Diablo there is only the sound of the supercharger, I don't remember how it was in other cars but here the sound is exaggerated for what you should hear when you are behind the car

I love the sound of the motorcycle engine in Horizon 3, sounds more like a Ducati engine rather than a Hayabusa. There's not that much indication in this game as to if it's really a Hayabusa engine, as it's not a stock engine in any car in Forza history. I'd instead put the Polaris RZR in Horizon 4, which sounds like a Hayabusa engine in Horizon 4. I know many people who own these Polaris RZRs and their sound is beeeeeeeeeeeefy almost like a Harley and nothing like a Hayabusa.
True it does have a bit of that Ducati tone - Did some further research and it could possibly be a Harley Engine as they have some 1340cc engines too and it sounds pretty similar

I my opinion, the worst sounding car in any Horizon game is Honda NSX GT in Horizon 1. When you rev to 8000 RPM it actually sound like the 8000 and 2400 RPM samples are played at once, which sounds terrible.
I always thought FH3 had the best combination of on throttle exhaust and off throttle pops and crackles, so I was genuinely saddened when FH5 went back to the generic backfires of FH2

Certainly fixed it in FH5 which is good. And the M4 GTS, do like how it sounds in FH3 & FH4 is a decent one too. Think it was changed at some point in FH4, as it didn't sound the best. But can see what you mean there with the backfire sound. Are others in FH4 (seems it has quite a few ones which are off), the XA Falcon (that green 1970's ford sedan/saloon) sounding like an I6, when it is a V8. Botched that one right up & still is like that. But FH5, certainly improved on many of the sounds, which is a good thing indeed.

FH4 devs went crazy with the car sounds as they’re literally identical to each other for every car it feels like. There’ll be 6 engine swap sounds (most notoriously the V8/12) and the usual default car sounds for each breed of cars 🤦♂️ I was playing FH4 today and found out the Aston Martin Vantage ‘16 having the 599XX Evo sound and I’m sure you all know where that’s coming from. Can’t have a Ferrari sounding car in a 6.0L V12 and that Ferrari irl has a racing engine in it so…

If you bought the DLC for FH2 you should be able to redownload it through "Manage game and add-ons" menu. Sometimes it won't install them automatically for some reason.
I agree. In general, Japanese I6 (of which I'm normally a big fan of!) like the 2JZ, RB26 etc... with race exhausts don't sound good at all, in my opinion.
For the r33 gtr you also have to remember in real life WHEN THEIR STOCK they sound like vacuums just like the supra and pretty much any 6cyl turbo car from the 90’s

This is reminding me of how good the map and seasons actually were in FH4. FH5 is a much better game all round, especially the car sounds of course but I’ll always miss the seasons! Winter was thaw most interesting and fun season and by a mile the most pretty!….and now we have to make do with 4 “seasons” which are virtually identical thanks to lazy casual players who moan and groan if it isn’t nice easy sunny weather.

the R33 sound in FH4 is actually from a completely stock R33 so it is actually accurate but it doesn't sound very good
