Great video, Games got the most variety in play of any past rugby game, if the developers continue to support the game will be by far best rugby game to date. Really enjoying it. Have both Xbox one and steam version , my steam version considerably more polished.
The amount of offensive moves by far the most of any rugby game. Would like to see more scrum, rucks and maul infractions. Fix the kicking loose ball with b button, most of time will pick up ball and not kick it.
Good job picking up the steam version as you'll have access to mods 👍

110% Rugby 08 was very awesome, and it was on PS2, I feel like graphics can improve more with body shapes and facial realism.
Love the game but a few thing wrong with it such as when a knock on happens it doesnt call a scrum and when doing online matches it has insane lag, otherwise very enjoyable bame (great to see you back posting)

I have to agree on the laggy online part. Because of the lag, I’ve had crazy advantage in some games and not being able to tackle (or win rucks) on other games
how did you get the South Africa sqaud?
It's a mod for the PC version. At some point I'd imagine all unlicensed teams will be modded in.
I’m not the biggest fan of the passing I think it’s too slow and floaty at times like rugby challenge.. one other thing they have ruined is the the ability to pass back to your trail runner running behind ur pod that runs out the back.. when u run off ur 9 and try and pass to 10. the 10 runs straight up through ur pod instead of running back a backdoor line. In rugby 20 it was perfect then u had options to hit ur second pod or go wide… I know a lot people wouldn’t care about this but it was a great feature in rugby 20..
still a good game though much improved.
Return pass is a nice feature too.
Yeah I can understand your opinion. I enjoy the passing because I feel it makes the gameplay enjoyable but its certainly not realistic in anyway.

It can definitely be fun at points. Just wish there was a proper career mode and customisation.
The whole license thing is so annoying, this looks ok compared to previous offerings. Sadly I probably won't bother as there's no premiership, such a shame.
Do you prefer rugby challenge or rugby 22? I think I'm gonna stick with Rugby 20 as I am on Xbox and I want the English premiership 😂

To right they did, if you can get the PC version then you'll be able to mod in the premiership. If not stick with 20 for now.
Sadly haven't got a good enough PC to run it :( wish there was just the one rugby game with all the licenses that would be epic. But don't see it happening for a long time. Rugby 20 will do.
I mean I personally don't see a lot of difference between 20 and 22. I initially didn't like 20 but fired it up and gave it another go. Seems a lot better this time round

Rugby 22 for gameplay and RC4 for game modes and customisation. Depends what you want.
