I think I know why Ed looking at James seems so intense: James doesn't look people in the eye and Ed seeks out eye contact. So you end up with Ed basically staring into James's face while James looks in an entirely different direction.

This is such a brilliant concept, having a human seeing eye dog for other senses like taste. And somehow James Acaster is the perfect werido to do the descriptions of the tastes. But I think the directing and editing could be better, to make it funnier. These guys are funny, real funny, and we can see them having fun, but it´s like a brilliant painting with a shit frame, hanging in a dark corner of the museum, badly lit. This could be an absolute succes, ´cause again: the concept is brilliant and you guys are really funny.
