This is the Gateway Singers (Lou Gottlieb's group before the Limeliters) from around 1957, on their 2nd Decca album "At the Hungry I". Also in the group at this time were Travis Edmonson, Elmerlee Thomas and Jerry Walter.
Definitely the Gateway Singers with Lou Gottlieb singing lead, not the Limeliters (I have the LP this is from and am very familiar with this recording). If you listen carefully you can hear a female voice (Elmerlee Thomas) which the Limeliters never had.

Are you sure this is the Chad Mitchell Trio? I sounds more like Lout Gottlieb singing lead--with The Limeliters.
This is Lou Gottleib. Folk singers "covered" each other's songs. It's the early Limelighters.
This is the Limeliters not the Chad Mitchell Trio!!
This is not the Chad Mitchell Trio. I know their voices.
It's most definitely the Limelighters. I hope "robertrobin10" will fix the attribution.
the limelighters, lou gottlieb singng lead
