I just came across your channel while researching encaustic. I really enjoy you explaining the techniques you use and helping give ideas to others! I make art upon occasion. Sometimes I’ll produce lots of stuff in short spurts and other times, like now, I’m in a creative rut. So it’s nice to see your technique. Subbed!

Very cool effects. I love the india ink. What is the yellow paint/ink you used around the center at the end? Again, thanks for awesome demos!

Your picture is fantastic. I am very intrigued. Thank you for the inspiration. What color is in the tubes? I only know India Ink as ink. Is it Oil Paint?

Do you just add water to the steel wool, or vinegar and water?

Vinegar and water. It happens pretty quickly with the vinegar.

Is the Linseed oil from the hardware store?

Hmmm... you might be able to get it from a hardware store since it's used a lot in woodworking. I always get it from an art store like jerrys artarama or even michaels.
