I wrote a mail to bones, suggesting a european formula wheel wit 92-95a. They didn´t react.
In europe, we have a lot of bad ground, so i will try yours.

@@krassmachineAs a Canadian skating rough pavement regularly, im extremely excited to try out the OJ 95a Nomads... they should be the perfect wheels for me and my skating terrain.
Bones is in the process of bringing back/re-formulating there DTF (ditch tech formula), also I believe I heard/read that Ricta is working on a new 94-96a wheel formula... And if Oj, Ricta and Bones are all coming out with mid 90 duro wheels you can bet that spitfire is cooking up something of there own too.
Finally us skaters with un-ideal terrain conditions are gonna have a wide variety of mid hardnesss wheels to choose from... Dont know if any others will release this year since were in the last quarter now, but next year we'll for sure start to see other companies unvailing similar mid 90 duro wheel formula's.
But OJ as of right now is well ahead of the rest of the pack and will for sure be able to capitalize on that fact, as soon as I see a pair of these Nomads in stock i'll be grabbing myself a set or two, for sure!
Can't wait to try out a set of the new Nomad wheels for myself.
Hope to see Figgy get himself a signature Nomad wheel in the future! and/or Milton Matinez and Nora V... would love to see any of them recieve a signature series Nomad wheel since those are my 3 favorite OJ team riders and the Nomads are the wheels for me without a doubt! I been patiently waiting for a proper mid 90s duro street skating wheel to hit the market for awhile now.

I got my Nomads for Christmas from Santa Clause. Those elves you guys got sure know how to make some good urethane
Ordered mine, can’t wait to skate these! Still wish 55/56mm was an option... but still super stoked for the shape and 95a duro! Riding on some crust-nasty streets where I live and just 99-101+ sucks for that, hurts my bones. Thanks for coming out with the medium-hard duro!
How was it? Are these wheels good for general cruising?
@@micbaron they are nice and smooth to ride on, but grippier than I expected. Good for not slipping out, but you do have to change your power slide or revert technique a little to get them to break traction. This can be good or bad depending on what you are skating them on or how you imagine using them. They are great for the roads, sidewalks, basketball courts and tennis courts near me. They also helped me at the skatepark which can get kinda sandy/slippery.
if OJ can make a wheel that doesn't chatter and lose speed on rough ground that also slides, maybe world peace is possible after all

If you skated you would know in a very short period of time ANY URETHANE WHEEL of any make or whatever WILL get flat spots regardless I don't give a shit what anyone says. That is unless you just have a board to look cool and never skate it. Then yeah your OJs are not going to be "chattering"
@@encyclopediabrown1334 that's an interesting point. Long board wheels are Polyurethane and don't seem to get flats on those but for some reason the euro always does. Never tried these out ... I mean if you don't power slide much you'd be good

Awesome! can't wait to try a pair for myself. 53mm OJ Nomads should be the perfect wheel for me, I'll for sure be getting a pair which will be my first experience with OJ wheels.
I imagine a few of the OJ team riders will come to prefer the Nomads over other OJ models, makes me wonder which OJ riders we may see eventually get themself a singature Nomad wheel in the future... I'd love a set of Figgy Nomads or Milton Martinez.
Also gotta say i'm shocked that Nora V wasnt in the promo at all, I always enjoy seeing her rip and shes got a ditch rider skate style that is fitting of the OJ Nomads.
Been digging these under 99a over 86a wheels - all terrain, tricks still work with some adaptation. They grip street asphalt awesome when carving at high speeds
95a is an ideal hardness for street, ditches, semi rough terrain etc
yea but its hard to powerslide on.
Give Elite 95a a try dude. It's slides like a regular a wheel but hits ya with a softer roll for crusty spots.

95a is the perfect balance of stick and slide! I had I believe the cab wheels? 61mm.. those where the only wheels I could find 95a and they were alit the too wide for my 8.5 trucks so I'm super stoked on these!!!

@@Skatebetter i ride street usually so i think going faster could be more fun and any other benefits for it? Its pros and cons and compared to other wheels
@@medievalshadows2836 you can check my channel as I will do my own review on them in the next month but for now I’m not sure how much difference you’ll see as you’re going from a tablet shape to a tablet shape. The only i can say for sure is the 94a def feels smoother than any spitfire I’ve ridden, however they are much harder for me to powerslide personally. Not too many other benefits that I see so far!

if i’m switching from a 99a 55mm elite hardline shape to a 53 or 54mm nomad, will the slide feel different or pretty similar
Yo! Good question... Elite 95a will slide and sound like a 99a HardLine but will rolls faster and smoother through rugged terrain. We just skate park with them and a ditch. Both were rolling solid.

they as good as super juice tho
95a rip 100% but they're totally different than Super Juice. 95a will slide and roll at the park or on the crust. Super Juice is tough to slide and better for cruising the streets or super bumpy terrain.
