Hey dude. Thanks for the review. You said you ride 101 Mini Combos usually? And you ride your OJ's with the graphic in. It kinda does matter because on the Mini Combo shape that means the conical side (graphic) in facing in and the round side facing out... I prefer the round side in for easy on and off.

I agree that it does matter with the mini-combos, but ive been doing the graphic in for as long as I can remember. With the mini-combos it just so happened that it worked out well for slappy tricks: I found it a little easier to slap up and once I'm in, I like to feel locked. thanks for the feedback.

Cheers! Enjoying your channel … have you tried 97a spitfire F4’s? If so how would you compare em?

I haven't yet, but I do like the 99a so when the opportunity presents itself, I'll give them a run.

The Dragons made both the Nomads and the Keyframes obsolete to me when I bought them. Almost on par with the Keyframes in shock absorption and sliding loads better than the Nomads.

Agreed on all points. My only issues with the Dragons are, the sound (or lack of) and the limited shapes at the time of release - I found it hard to lock in to grinds with the classic shape.
      Thanks for the input.

@@TheSoreLosersShowIt seems so dumb cause it’s just a noise but it ended up being a non-negotiable lol. I loved the dragons and everything about them.. especially that green color I had them in. Rode them for months! But one day despite the wheels still being in terrific condition.. I just could not stand doing another dead silent revert . Not sure why but I just needed that bark back in my life! So I put some f4 99’s back on and just like that.. those sweet, sweet green dragons have seen nothing but the inside of my trunk ever since hahah

I didnt like the nomads much. Mostly because they were too grippy.
Imo the Powell dragons are superior to the nomads in every way: absorb more vibrations, are faster and do slide much better.

Thanks for the comment. I agree with you on the Dragons vs Nomads for sliding and vibration absorption, but I just couldn’t get used to the soft wheel sound of the Dragons. In saying that, I do believe in the right tool for the right job, so they’d be great for rougher terrain.
