Thank you! I accidentally locked out the blue collar for my 2nd dog and couldn't figure out what I did. Watching this, I discovered what happened and fixed it in seconds.
Hi David, thank you. I have limited experience with the sport pro. I prefer having more levels for fine-tuning. You might even check out the E Collar Technologies ET 300. It’s the collar I am using the most right now with clients. You can watch a video on the ET 300 on my channel. It doesn’t have a automatic bark collar function, so if you are looking for that then I would recommend the Garmin Delta XC Sport or Sport Pro.
Around the ten minute mark, you mention you have to reset the bark collar settings everytime after being charged. This seems redundant and for the money Garmin is charging it should have a memory mode. What you say?
Hi Tim, another person mentioned that resetting is not necessary. I’ve definitely had situations where the bark collar was not on when it should have been. Maybe there has been a fix? Not sure but always worth double checking that it is on before use.
Can the bark collar be set for automatic and use one of the modes SIMULTANEOUSLY. DOGS biggest issue is barking but if I see him digging up my flowers can I use one of the modes to stop?
I press the bark/on button to look for the long green blink and orange short blink my remote turns off. I seem to do exactly what you do on the video. Did anything change in 2021? I have the XC sport
You don't have to turn the bark limiter back on each time. I have 3 collars and 1 controller, I don't have to do ehat you mention each time the receiver is turned off and on
Hi Josh, it does take some practice, but it's a great collar especially for those who need the built in bark limiter. Check out my video on the ET-300 (ua-cam.com/video/BKaNAnWGukQ/v-deo.html). It might be a better fit.
Hey that was the best no nonsense, articulate tutorial I've seen of any dog related product. Well done, thank you.
Thanks Daniel!

thanks for making this video, the manual that comes with this device is so overly complicated. This video is great and straight to the main points
Glad it was helpful and thanks for the comment. Appreciate it!

Hey this is a great video. My collars shock function doesnt work anymore but the tone and vibration still work. Any ideas? Maybe its just old?
Interesting, not sure why that would happen. Garmin has great customer service. I would give them a call and see what they think.
Super helpful - Thanks so much for this!
Thanks Carley, happy it helped!
Thanks this definitely helped in making purchase when started researching e collar.
Thanks Ethan!

If your using multiple collars and only the one remote can you set up both collars for bark limiter and have them run independently from one another?
Hi James, great question. Yes, each collar (up to 3) can have the BarkLimiter turned on or off and levels set independently. Hope that helps.
@@frontrangedogtraininghelped greatly. Thank you for being so prompt!

Yes, when the bark collar is set to automatic you can still manually activate the collar by pressing the buttons.
I press the bark/on button to look for the long green blink and orange short blink my remote turns off. I seem to do exactly what you do on the video. Did anything change in 2021? I have the XC sport
I haven’t used any newer versions of this collar. You may need to call Garmin. They’ve always been really helpful.

Thanks for video. I will withhold my comment on this product, just to say what a complicated piece of crap.
