Can you do a video on how to organize a corner pantry. I hate our pantry because it was built into the corner of our kitchen. I have a terrible time trying to organize it because of the odd shape.
I just remodeled my kitchen and was totally annoyed that my drawers were too shallow for spices! It has been 2 weeks of my trying everything... then I came across your video. Thank goodness for tips that don't include 'visually' appealing uniform jars above all else! You've made my whole week.
my fav spice blends are by McCormick. And I'll just buy random new flavors to try them all out. So far ive yet to have a bad spice blend; some are just less good. its goes from "OMG gotta have it" to their worst ones are "meh, its good but super niche" due to us mixing so many spice blends, we now use less salt due to them already having salt in them.
I love my spices, but, man oh man, they take up a LOT of space for things used so sparingly. There has got to be a better way. I'm thinking test tube storage.
You are like me when I shop because everything is so beautiful and you just want to buy the whole store. I get easily distracted when shopping and end up sending much more than I ordered to spend 😅😅😅
Ooh, about the "pour older spices on top so they're used first" bit, for me, that doesn't guarantee they're not mixing, especially if they tend to clump; but, what you *can* do is put the newer stuff in, push some cling film into the jar till it hits the new stuff, then put the old stuff in the top, then ONLY the old stuff gets used first! When the top separated part is "empty", you just remove the cling film. Or, if youve bought more already, you can switch the formerly-new stuff into the cling film, clean the jar, put your actually-new one underneath again, and your now "old" stuff is still separated on top! It works great for spices where there are pourin/sprinkling openings in the lids, as you screw the cap down over the overhanging clingfilm, and cut off excess, they work excellently! Also, I wouldn't buy new jars for spices, just use the best sealing one of what ever spice/herb you usually buy most often, and that you consume quickly, and then as you finish each of your matching jars, you wash and label them and transfer in the stuff from any ones which don't match or don't seal well :)
what is the name of that Storage store? I love containers and boxes. I could do a major overhaul to my kitchen and other bed rooms with that store. (maybe even make the junk drawer get organized)
My organization problem is I admire all the shapes of spice bottles and being glass. I almost did that $ tree small squares transfer all spices and realized my hurdle 😂
If I haven't told you lately that I love you, that's my fault! I. Love love love. You!! Now I just have to find a container store and a specialty spice shop. I knew where those were before I moved, now I have to find new ones or drive 121+ mi.
I feel taking spices out of glass jars just to empty them into another glass jar, and throw away the original jar,, is wasteful. But some of your tips are helpful.
use more. especially if you want to have more flavor and less salt. depending on your family history high blood pressure is highly made worse with salty foods. you can get great flavors without using just salt. a great place to start is McCormick Grill Mates™️. but if you want to save money then buy bulk seasonings. some great ones are: oregano, basil, cinnamon, lemon pepper (short shelf life though), and black pepper (its pepper but has a bolder taste)
"Oh yeah that's about right "😂😂😂 lol u burst my bubble 🫧 🤣 cuz I been plotting for about three weeks on having my spice draw in my island.. we're waiting to close on a home soon, done made me go back to my home video just to see the kitchen and say damn I guess that is about right 😂😂😂😂😂
this guys energy is so contagious i swear..
I love the positive vibes this guy exudes in his videos
He’s the guy that is on many newspaper websites. He’s a non-threatening minority character.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
It’s a woman

Yes! I have the same problem it seems impossible!
Definitely becoming a “mad flavor scientist” tomorrow
This is exactly the kind of video I subscribed for
This was funny. I thoroughly enjoyed the humor.
Thanks for all your great tips.

I’m trying to figure out what to do with mine. I have probably about 4x the amount you have. Lol😊
😅 Careful now! 8:49 Great ideas! 😎✌🏼
This was really useful. I didn't know spice markets existed and now I've earmarked one nearby to visit.
It's a great way to try out new spices, too, to make sure you like them!
Aw yeah Peper Ann!

The Container Store!
My organization problem is I admire all the shapes of spice bottles and being glass. I almost did that $ tree small squares transfer all spices and realized my hurdle 😂

Oooouí.. someone please come up with a New Orleans Boiled Peanuts spice blend

Bulk saves things from going to the landfill.
You're so cool 😊
What store is that?
Gotta look up sometimes to find what you need…. I instantly thought of Jesus❤❤❤
What store are you in?
Pepper Ann 😭
Yay, positive but this video could have been 1/4 the length.

It's more handy when you buy bulk spices 😊 Thanks for watching!
@problemsolvedshow And you still have to have the space of now storing 2 containers of the same spice.
Shouldn't store spices near stove. 😢
Be sure to waft next time! 😅
Bro I only use like 5 spices ever lmao
Change that
@@jw5931 yeah maybe i should. I just don’t feel the need for pretty much anything other than salt, pepper, hot paprika, garlic and maybe like cumin 😅
use more.

@@ericolens3 thanks for the recommendations!
@@MarvanovicHonestly I learned how to properly season from getting into Asian cooking, the variety and depth of flavor is crazy
uh... something about you smelling species at store irked me
Oh no, the salt has started producing sexually viable offspring.
