Hey I just watched the video Ace posted about the Florida lobsters, and then I found this channel. A silly question, but, is this channel new? I've never seen it before. I've been subscribed to Ace's channels for quite a while, but, I've never seen The Ancient channel before, what a great find!! I'm already subscribed!! God bless, stay safe.
It's Ace's dad's channel that was started six months ago at least for the first upload. Ace's dad was a Marine back in early 80's so I guess they decided to do a MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) channel. MRE's are usually a military thing.
Darryl, as Darkhalf mentions below, I started posting videos in July of last year. Ace and I were on the boat with not enough to eat so I took out an MRE I had stored in the boat for emergencies. It was from my USMC days back in around 1982 or so. Anyway, I broke open the meal and ate some of it. Asa included some of the footage and his comment section lit up about the MRE. Well, I had a sea bag full of old MREs so I decided that once every-thing finished with the sale of a business we had owned for 34 years, I'd start, what I thought, the first UA-cam channel with MREs in it......I didn't know much about UA-cam, obviously. That's the story......TFW!
Already 2 minutes into the video and i love it! Lobster is one of my favorite sea foods, Ace and his dad are my favorite youtubers, the combination could not be better! Love the videos 👍🏻
I just discovered them recently and am loving all of their content as well! Ancient's other son Micah has content over at High Adventure Videos. His camping videos are great, and you can't miss the cook-offs between him and Ace.
Best part about the fact that u did start ur own channel are the stories. Ive been learning from everyone whose even just like 5 years older since I graduated high school in 2009. Just hope the newer generation will see this and gather info that needs to keep on going on. You and your family keep up the good work.

Ace you're so lucky you still have your grandfather around. I'm only 26 but I lost mine when I was about 7 or 8 years old. These videos make me so happy because he reminds me so much of mine. Thank you very much for your service and sacrifice. I'm retired Army and my son will soon be a Marine and I will definitely recommend he subscribe. Thank you all for being positive role models for both young me and women to follow.
That's cool, Kenneth. I mean about your service and your son joining the Corps. If he's enlisted and joining East of the Mississippi, he'll go to boot camp where I did, P.I. South Carolina. Or as we used to chant while marching, "The land that God forgot. The sand is 18 inches deep and the sun is blazing hot. And when I get to heaven, St. Peter I will tell, 'another Marine reporting sir, I served my time in Hell'." Tell you son Semper Fi when he graduates. TFW
@@MeAncient Yes he will be going to P.I. Sc. He has been delayed due to hearing. He had surgery to repair his right eardrum and now has to have the same surgery on his left ear. Thank you for your service and the videos you and your son's create.
