This man knows his stuff!! Very thoughtful and in depth brake job. Lots of handy tips and tricks that I’ve learned over the years that help to make a clean, well done, break job. To the point and we’ll done man!!!! 👍
I came to more than one camry front rotor vids for the metric sizes reguired. Thanks. And your tutorial will help alot of people learn. I am just helping a friend and needed to know what mm. You taught em...😉
Your cordless ratchet still looks good, mine looks like I found it out the garbage! LOL on the THOR HAMMER! Great job on showing those sliding pins! You do a GREAT JOB filming these jobs by yourself because there are a lot of CRUMMY videos out here that don't!
@@NoneMechanic101 You are SO RIGHT!! Video is 75% of the success! If the people can't see what you're doing, the video is NO GOOD. In our EARLY videos, I use to record with one hand, just so people could see what I'm doing. You're doing GREAT by making sure we see what you are doing!
I gotta really dumb question. If you’re just replacing the pads only, can I just take out the old, and slip in the two new ones and be done with it? Or do I have to take it all completely apart? Great video, thanks!

I watched Silvia doing the videos. She gets into every angle. She makes it easy for people to learn.

I myself like to clean everything before I install the new brake pads.
When u pump the brakes did u leave the cap open or did u close it ?
It's best to close it
Very nice work. Do you break in the new rotors when first driving?
Sorry I don’t understand the question. I do drive the car as soon as the rotors are replaced.
Were your calipers sticking? Is that why you took them completely apart instead of using a C clamp to compress the caliper piston?
No the caliper wasn't sticking. i took it apart to clean them
Good men
Thank You. I appreciate it👍🔧
On a 07 camry, where that caliper pin with rubber on top goes ? I mean it goes upper or lower position on caliper braket ?
I'm not sure. Once is removed you're able to see where it goes
one of the ground wire in my hood broke, is it bad? its the one on the upper left corner inside the hood.
Ground wires are placed in a car for a reason. I would get it fix.
What type of grease are you supposed to use? I read how some swells up the boots? Also, where did you get the parts?
The parts the owner got them. I like using brake grease.
Do you have to bleed the brakes?
Yes
@@NoneMechanic101 Sir. I appreciate your video! I got the job done today! Thank you!
@@alanc.7615 You so very welcome
No unless you changing out calipers or doing a brake fluid flush
You forgot the 2 tensioner on break pads.
I did?
