What sucks is this song is probably Berlin's biggest seller but it was their swan song. That sucks as a musician, but it's not a story that's not been told before, or since! I'll bet it was the song they hated as a band as it was released!

Berlin burst onto the scene in 1982 with their hit "Sex (I'm A...)", which they followed up with a re-release of "The Metro", scoring a second hit. Those songs were among the songs they played when I saw them. Terri Nunn shows off her vocal skills with this song, but to me its just a pop ballad that was used to sell a movie first and cars and cereal later. "The Metro" and "Sex (I'm A...)" are more interesting songs that hold up better over time, imo.
