    It's not a free IPhone... if you bring your own phone the plan is only $25 a month. They do a credit check so you're basically financing the phone for $35 a month plus $25 for the voice/data plan. They also charge extra for the protection/service agreement.

    • @elliekim6666
      @elliekim6666 2 місяці тому

      The $25 plan is technically different so yes it's a free iPhone. The $25 plan doesn't have the roaming stuff and you're on one network not the three you could be on with the iPhone access plan.

      @@newfnshow031if you think about it, if you divide $1,000 by 36 months, it comes out to somewhere around $27 a month. $60 minus $27 equals $33 a month for the service which is a smart Network so you would probably get better service. It could be de-prioritize but if you're going for reception then it's probably fine. Now. Who switches between networks all the time, that is the real question. You will probably stay with the same network for a long time. So maybe it's a good deal? I'm getting sick of my network being good at one place but bad at another, I will try my hand at as many networks that I can get my hands on at once.

      The phone is unlocked, so if you choose say ATT, it doesn't mean you have to ONLY use it on ATT.
      Yes, I have both ATT and a collection of other MVNOs in the house, so I was able to use the ACMI get the 0% as well as a 3% cash back to my Apple Cash when I bought one.
      But it's a good point. When I bought my wife's 15 PM, I thought I selected ACMI and got the bill for the full price.
      I just paid it off. But when I got my 15 Pro from the Apple store, I picked ATT and set it up on my ATT eSIM. Then I put my Mint and Visible SIM on there and moved the ATT eSIM back to the other phone.
      So if you do want the ACMI, you are correct, you have to specify one of the big three. It doesn't mean the line has to stay on the phone as the phone is unlocked.

      If you have Apple Card you can finance it - unlocked and bring to any carrier

    • @buffuniballer
      @buffuniballer 7 місяців тому

      @@Naydeen53 yes, but to get the no interest ACMI you have to activate it on one of the three carriers.
      I just went through this with my wife's iPhone 15 PM. Bought it on the Apple Card, but didn't say it was going on AT&T (at the time) and the full bill came due.
      This is a recent change to ACMI, June or July of 2023 IIRC. Google is your friend here, you can find that it changed. (Can't post links as the comments seem to go away.)
      So yes you can buy it, but if you want ACMI you have to get a phone that is set to activate on AT&T, TMO or VZN out of the box. It doesn't mean you have to keep using them. But it does mean the phone will want to activate on the network you choose.
      If you don't choose one of those carriers, you will not get ACMI and the full cost will be due the first billing cycle to avoid interest.
      I learned that lesson on my wife's phone and picked AT&T for my 15 Pro. Activated it with my AT&T line, and then moved the eSIM back to the original phone once it was up and running.
      But technically, it was activated on AT&T...

You only have 30 priority data before they slow you down and their is only 1 plan that's it no other beside weather or not you want to either bring your phone or pay for one. Don't forget if you want to add hotspot you have to pay additional $10 to your plan and then you still can only use 30 GB because that's all you get period does that sound like something you want to deal with for $60 plus a month unless you bring your own device

After 4 hours of them delaying putting me on hold they said it will be refunded in 48 hrs. 4 days later nothing. Call/chat hold, stall delay again 3hrs this time to find out they issued a $40 credit, no refund. Now it's under a 72 review then refund will be issued within 4-7 business days.

      I.E. if an iPhone is 50% of your credit limit on an Apple Card, yeah, maybe you shouldn't buy one. If it's 5%, it will hardly be a blip on the radar.
