As a first time kit builder and not knowing any better I followed this video starting with channel assignments not realizing the Gyro step is where you need to set your Chan to AUX2 and switch to Flt Mode. Its the first step in the chain as you'll never get AUX2 set to Gyro in port assignment until the Gyro parameters are set. This also allows your Forward Programming setup step for FM Channel to be set to gear and the Gain channel to be set to AUX2. I , like a few others here started at the very beginning of video with channel assignments thinking this as a first step in setting up the 6250. Experienced guys like Justin, the Gyro step is probably a given. This issue is actually addressed in the comments below but I didn't go thru them until I discovered it on my own. Hope this helps a few first time builders as the rest of the video is excellent and very helpful.
It’s because of the new updates. When this first came out both channels in forward programming had to be assigned. But yeah, that’s how it’s done.
@@CoeShow619
Ok then since I can't get my gyro channel to show like yours how do I fall back and reset to get that to accept aux2. Do I set all the channels to inh and THEN it will let me assign aux2 in the gyro menu. On my monitor screen it shows that aux2 is letting the gyro work but in that gyro menu screen it wont allow me to assign aux 2. Any idea's????
Ok, this is, by far, the best tutorial on how to set up the 6250 yet. HH did try, but this one is the most straightforward. Well done.
Thanks. I try to be as simple as possible. Happy Flying.
i agree. iam not knocking the horizon tutorial but the guys voice and constantly repetitive words like [fc6250hx placing your fc6250hx on the helicopter with the adhesive pads supplied with your fc6250hx }!! its a bit mind bending!!
Best of the best and absolutely amazing tutorial! Thank you for such brilliant work and your valuable time! All the best 👍 👌
Thanks CoeShow. I watch your videos and as a beginner , hugely impressed by your flying. Just bought a Fusion 360 Smart and trying to get the the swash level and pitch to zero. Those lines on the head concern me though.
@@eddieepicmedia those lines on the head are pretty far off huh. Yeah, sometimes I don’t get it. Just level the blades with your eyeballs. Have some fun.
Awesome instructional video, learned a lot about setting up my 6250HX. Thank you for sharing.
Right on man! Let me know if you need clarification. Thanks for tuning in.
Thank you for this video. I relied on it heavily when setting up my TREX 500x. It flies amazing compared to the micro Beastx I had in it. I used your video a settings baseline and I tuned from there. Thank you for your efforts and putting your video together. Everyone else should also know that helifreak has info on this controller as well and it may answer some questions that are left out. I agree with you Justin that spektrum needs a better manual for this thing and some definitions or glossary for terms.
This is perfect timing , I am currently at his point of my build .. thanks man !
Thanks, this is the most complete, easy to follow instructions on programming and setting up
Thank you so much for the tutorial and help on setting up my first 480/550 transmitter setup! I did have a problem before your tutorial with my 480/550. I was flying perfectly for a couple of months. Then while flying my 480/550 I ran into big trouble. The best way to describe what was happening and how the Heli was acting is the loss of one of my cyclic servos! I was fighting to get it back on the field for about 60 seconds. I got it back and only broke the landing skid. Has that ever happened to you? In my mind this can only be caused by 1 a bad Servo, 2 a bad electrical connection, 3 a bad flight controller, and finally a faulty NX 8.
Thank you, Cole,
You are describing exactly what happened to me twice already. It felt exactly how you describe it but have no idea what it actually is because I’m not able to test since it all works at the bench. Have you fixed the issue?
That throttle offset is mostly for the bnf models. Set all modes to 0 and set the throttle hover setting to whatever your normal mode throttle is.
Found out today the throttle offset takes away throttle. So I turned them all to 0 and got more headspeed.
Well guys today my fusion 480 took flight with the 6250hx and my nx8. It fly's awesome!!!!!
Man , am I glad to hear that. Sweet dude.
I just followed your setup step by step. When you went to channel assign I don't have an option to set gyro to aux 2. Meaning gyro isn't even on the list. So continued on with it anyways. Got all done. And now the tail will hunt badly once of the ground. I've tried all I know to tame it. Which what I know is very little. I have a NX8.
use aux 3, NX8 here and I couldn't get it to take aux 2 either
@mykel1969 I for got what I did, but I didn't use an AUX at all. Just set it up as another helicopter concerning switches. It Flys great. Well the three I did setup all fly great. Thanks for your response and Happy New Year to you.
I want to thank you for all your help. My nx8 has frozed trying to set up heli. Radio has bad problems.i have to get a hold of tower hobbies and send it back. Thank u for your time. Your a outstanding guy. Thank YOU very much
Hi Edgar, thank you, and try this. Turn radio off. Pull the battery out of the radio for 10 minutes or one Pepsi. Then plug that battery back in and turn it on. Now go down the menu to system settings. Find calibrate. Move the sticks all around and hit your switches until they all say ok. Now hit complete. Exit to main screen. See if it works way faster now. Coe Show brotha!
@@CoeShow619 it came back on. But channel assign on rx port assignment is always changing by it's self.

I have been researching if the NX transmitter can forward program this fbl unit. The specs say DX and IX series.
Thanks for sharing. I have a NX8 and plan to get one of these for my helicopter
The NX radios are great.
Thank you for this video I have two builds that are almost to this point and its perfect timing ...wow thank you so much...
Thank you, this solves a lot of mystery as to why my Fusion 360 head shakes at 65% throttle. I need to adjust the P gain down a little and test. I just thought the blades were too loose or too tight. I noticed at 70% the problem went away so that is what I have normal mode set at.
Hello. I have the same problem. what p gain did you bring to 70?
I don’t know man. I can’t remember. I fly the ar7210bx on that heli now.
@@eddy4765 I didn't mess with anything sorry. I still have the heli, but don't fly it anymore, I've been flying 550-580 birds now and usind iKon2 fbl. I have been thinking about maybe putting the airframe in a scale fuselage if I can find one suitable just to mess around with fun scale.
@@TerryMusick Thank you for the response. Good luck building your scale model.
@@CoeShow619I have one more question that you may be able to help me with. When the 360 hovers in normal mode, a small vibration from the helicopter is noticeable. If I move up or down, the vibration is gone. When I roll or pitch, the vibration remains. There is a small play in the swashplate noticeable. In forward programming /swashplate/ I have increased the P gain "roll and pitch" and then it gets worse. But when I lower it I don't find a good setting to get rid of it. Perhaps you can steer me in a better direction. The helicopter is still new. I've only flown 5 batteries with it and spent 5 batteries adjusting it. Thank you very much for taking the time to read through this.
Hey coeshow I trying to setup panic on my 6250 followed one of the spektum videos and it does not seem to be working properly was wondering if you could help please ??
Awesome info thanks I’m tuning my kraken 580 with this setup. Very stable unit.
yes it is very stable. The PID tuning is easy after a couple drone racing tuning videos about PID gains and what they do. Mine is dialed now, although my video did not turn out right. So I have to get some footage this week.
Nice video , well explained, could I also plug a AR8020T so I can plug the SPM4651T to the SRXL2 of the AR8020T? And used another or maybe 2 satellites plug straight to the ikon2? So in that case I will run 4 full range receivers?
Uh. No. This is a 6250hx video. Ikon can use a 4651t and 2 remote receivers. So can the 6250.
Hi thanks for all you great videos, helped me al lot to become a Heli pilot. When leveling the swashplate you enter the Sub-trim menu which results in all servos moving to the center position. Is the Sub-trim menu also selected when you adjust you blades to be at zero degrees, or are you setting the pitch to mid stick and then adjust the rods?
Should i strap it on my raw 420? Im a Newbie with a Little Bit of Nano s3 under my belt. Have a used 700 nitro sleeping in my Hobby room but it sleeps as it should… Not there yet to fly a 700 Sized Monster with nitro around… a 420 should be more reasonable what do u mean? And the „blade-Mode“ is it _THE! Stability Mode?_
NOW THAT WAS HELPFULL ... more please sir 😃 thanks 4 the pro show coe and let us also know how to control the heli with the joysticks in sight.so a novice can see what type of degree of push needs to be aplyied.give us double views on screen.make it as real as possible for the spectater and us noobs.god bless
Hoping If you can make a video on how to update the 6250hx
This is awesome! Does this apply to the smaller guys like the 230s Smart, 150s Smart and the Fusion 180 Smart? I am learning. I use "servo setup" under Function List to set 0 pitch at mid stick. The "PIT" function of sub trim is my go to! I also use "travel" under Servo Setup to get positive/negative pitch very close to the same.
This system works great for the Mcpxbl2 and S3. What do you think?
Actually the "driver side" on a helicopter is opposite than in airplanes. But got the point of your explanation :D
Awesome video, it comprises the HH Spektrum video set up greatly, so thank you.
I have noticed at the 32 minute mark and before, when you are in forward programing and you switch between flight modes, the flight mode changes on your screen, mine does not, it stays in flight mode 1. I am using the NX8, not that it matters I am sure. Any suggestions.
Thank you in advance
Go to channel assignment in NX8 and make Gear Flight Mode switch. Not B. Then go back into forward programming and see it change.
@@CoeShow619 double checked, it is set like that. When you go to Throttle is setup, my screen does not match yours. I only see Failsafe position and the item below, the flight mode setting and other selections below are missing on my screen 🤦♂️. Do I need a firmware upgrade ?
Thank you again
You used the Spektrum ESC programmer. Could it have done the same through the NX10 ESC programming feature?
Yes, you can, but I am old and forgot how to cross the sticks and all that.
LOL I get you. I had no idea it was even there until I bought the Eflite Timber Evo and watched a video. I’m a long time fixed wing pilot and just getting into heli’s. Your videos are invaluable to me.
Helpful but a but fast for a beginner got a bit confused.
My throttle does not work was hoping to see how to fix that
If you have a smart ESC only you will plug into channel 2. If you have another brand esc or non smart, plug into channel 1. It’s in the manual, but the pictures look identical but they are not.
i have a Blade 480 stretched to a 550. I have been trying to follow along to program a new model for my transmitter. I have a NX8. Every time I try to assign GYRO to Aux2 in Rx Port Assignments GYRO is not a choice. Can you please help. Thank You! Cole
I do not change port assignments. Leave them alone. Go to the Gyro menu in radio. Assign aux 2 as channel and flight mode as switch. Now set the Hold, Normal, Stunt 1 and Stunt 2 gyro gain percentages. Now in Forward programming, set up, look at bottom of page. You can see that Gear is assigned already, and that you can see where it says inhibit for gain channel. Change inhibit to Aux2 there. Now when you go to swash, or tail rotor, you should see the modes changing on screen.
I have the same thing with my not so smart nx8. 😆
@@CoeShow619 This is accurate info. Had the same problem but was able to figure it out on my own.
Hello, I have a Align 500x built and ready to install the 6250hx using NX8 TX Can I use the blade fusion 550 template that is already in the NX8 model list as a basic place to start and modify for the 500X ? OR is it better to create a heli model from scratch ? The 500x and fusion 550 seem to be quite similar models.. thanks in advance for any help.
Watching this I had an idea. If the fc6250hx flybarless can handle up to a 700 heli…. Could it be a gasser? lol That’d be funny a big ass weed whipper powered heli with safe mode/bail out. Oh and ur stuffs always the bomb. 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Hey coeshow I am running the servos that come in the super combo kit h6050 cyclic and h6060 tail do you recommend setting the bec at 7.4 volts for these servos i only ask because I have been taking my time with this heli over the last year and only have about 6 flights and my tail servo broke no crashes thank God I found out on the ground lol horizon hooked me up with a new one !!! thanks for any info or advice !
Can you use your setup with the nx6 transmitter and the blade 330s ?
Hi just got the 6250 in my Trex 470 and it is a little sluggish, wat can I do to make it a bit more crisp but still tame thx mark.
Could be a lot of things. First is mechanical set up. Are the servo horns correct length? A longer horn makes quicker response. Did you set the 12 degrees for cyclic in Set up? Also the collective pitch. You will need 14 degrees with that helicopter for collective. I run about 25% expo and it’s crispy as chips at a Mexican restaurant .
Does this setup work with the MBP as well. Also thanks for taking the time to make this and for responding to questions, as I know this has got to eat up a huge chunk of your time.
I’m sorry, I don’t know what MBP is.
Micro beast plus
I have an older Align TREX 500 and have been rebuilding it from a misfortunate crash, not so bad. I have the radio with this new AR6250HX receiver now installed in place of an old Align G3, and it looks to be better setup under the Spektrum. Only when I turn on my DX9 transmitter and follow your setup, it appears Aux2 is already in use, and I cannot set in in the Channel Configuration like you show, Where might I check to ensure it is available?
Spektrum did a firmware update after my video. You can just assign Aux 2 instead of Aux 3 like you may see. I use Gear for flight modes and aux 2 as gain channel. Just switch them in Forward Programming / set up menu. Then do what you see in my video. It takes a few days to get used to that system. I do not know why they do it backwards to my findings. Realistically the radio doesn’t care as long as in channel assignment menu they jive with the forward program set up menu. Use your screen monitor to verify the switches are functional. I really hope this helps. It’s a little difficult to learn this system honestly.
My channel assign screen on my NX8+ looks nothing like yours. Wish i could post a picture here but i did just post one on the Spektrum 6250 board on Helifreak. Any ideas? Please help? Thank you in advace!
Channel assign still has the same function no matter what it looks like with fancy colors or Luo script. There is two pages for channel assign. Maybe look at the next page. Port assignment. Plus, you did not state what the question is? Updates change what stuff looks like. That’s all I know.
Hello, Justin:
Excellent Tutorial Video for the 6250 flight controller! One question . . . , Can I Update the 6250 Flight Controller when it is being used on the Blade 330s. My firmware version is currently at 5.05.00
At the moment, I don't see a reason to have to update the firmware since the 330s is flying awesome. I believe it is suggested by Horizon Hobby NOT to update the firmware since it was made specifically for the 330s. Your Thoughts?
Hi, I would not update it. The stock tune is perfect, and the new 5.6 stx firmware is meant for a 480 or bigger helicopter. I tried once and had to detune the Pids and it was a pain. The 5.5 is still tuneable to your preferred roll and flip rate. So you can just dial those in and be just fine. Thanks.
Thank You, Justin. As always your guidance is always appreciated.
I'm using a NX8 and in channel assignment Aux2 it doesn't give me option for gyro.
Is the iX12 being replaced or just removed from the lineup? I’ve noticed you are using the NX10 more often lately.
I’ve heard so many discouraging things about the NX10. How’s your experience? I’m itching to try it but am nervous.
I have the NX 10 and have had no issues in over a year. It has performed flawlessly.
@@jpap1059good to hear. Thanks!
I have an NX10, upgraded from a DX6i. I am very impressed with the NX10. It seems very solid In the airware.
Using the same radio as you(NX10), when I go to RX Port Assign AUX2 has no Gyro in the pages, Chn Input Config I can set Gear to F Mode. Any idea's as to why this is happening. Have deleted the model twice and re-started but still have the same problem, Have I missed something. F/W is 3.06. Have the same reciever and it has been updated to latest F/W. Thanks Ian.
Go to channel assign and set aux 2 to Gyro. Then assign Aux 2 as channel and flight mode as switch in gyro menu. In Forward Programming , go to set up, and at bottom it says gain channel and aux channel inhibited. Make it Aux 2. And leave Gear channel alone the way it is. Start at like 75% for Gains in Gyro menu, and work up or down in percentage for each stunt mode headspeed for the beat tail performance. If you have to go above 85% to make it shake, take the P up 10% and the I up 5% at a time. It’s a long process. But that’s how you do it.
My ah-1w tilts to the right and fwd in stability when i calibrate it the swashplate tilts left a little but when it gets light on skids wants to roll right and go fwd a bit . I gave up on stability and with stunt 1 flys fine in agility mode stability off , do you know why it wants to tilt to the right and fwd ? Vibrations seem minimal tracking ok just don’t understand when at hover pitch (throttle off ! )In fwd programming , swashplate is tilting left but when light on skids wants to go right , orientation is proper with wires forward and unit upside down CE on top , and checking gyro action is correct tilt right swash goes left and vise versa , kinda wanted the stab function to hover indoors safely
is there a way to display the Hobbywing platinum 120A and 130A esc telemetry on the spektrum ix14 transmitter.
spectrum said that they do not support Hobbywing and that i have to purchase their smart esc.
Yes. The fan port is also a program port. Take one wire from the signal there to pin 5 on ikon. It’s the middle pin of 4-5-6. Signal to 5. In ikon program in governor, pick hobby wing v4 platinum telemetry. Plug your 4651t receiver into channel 3 on ikon2
In ikon receiver tab pick Srxl2/hot/sbus. It’s in the middle all the way to the left. Now rebind. When it is bound it will auto configure telemetry.

Is it possible to set this up on an NX6?
I don’t have an aux 2 port in RX Port assignment since it’s only a 6 channel
Yes, but you may not have 3 separate gains for 3 separate headspeeds. Here’s a Fusion 360 smart manual which uses the 6250hx. Set your radio like the table explains. Thanks for watching. Need big time help here… followed your instructions yet when I turn off then on radio and heli it alerts me that throttle is high. If I flip hold on then off it stops the alert. Is this normal? I am setting up TRex 470 with NX10. Thanks
The esc and flybarless system must see zero throttle to arm. So yes that is correct. You do not want that helicopter spooling up when you plug it in.
I do have the throttle all the way down on left stick (Mode 2) which is zero throttle.
hey man just got a raw 580 was wondering if you think this is a better choice over a brain 2. I only ask cause I fly spektrum and just ordered a Avain ESC and plan to use spektrum smart batteries.
Really depends on your patience and flying style. The Brain2/IKon2 is about a 15 minute set up to flying perfect if you can read a wizard page and do what it says. It is the go to for me. I also use the Avian 120 speedo and Smart batteries. For some reason Avian decided to only send telemetry out of that little grey wire. For Brain 2 to have telemetry, you need that program wire from the program port to be live, which it is not, but is on Hobbywing to plug into the 5 port at 4-5-6. So basically, you will not have Avian telemetry with the Brain. You will only fly 4 minutes max anyway. Why do we need all those gadgets. If tinkering and tuning and figuring out mysteries, and watching a bunch of videos to set up the 6250hx is your thing, it works really well when it’s properly tuned. I’d say Ethan Ater has it dialed. Mine flies good, but I’m always changing stuff, because there is basically no base line for the size of helicopter you will be tuning. Basically, you need some drone racing experience for good PID tuning skills. I’m really being honest. With updates, the 6250hx is evolving fast, but at 46 years old, I like definition for what settings do. The Brain has everything labeled. My wife can program it. But she can read to. I learn every day with the 6250. I just wish there was a glossary of terms or something. It’s really all it’s missing. But hey, it has awesome telemetry for that whole 4 minutes. It’s really apples to oranges comparison. They are like two different girlfriends. Nothing totally bad about either one.
Thanks man really appreciate the info. you're right I don't need all those gadgets for a 3/4min flight. Brain 2 it is! yeah I looked at the brain Brain setup wizard looks easy. going to start building tomorrow after work! thanks again!
@@skystevenson24 Dude, I love my Kraken 580. It’s so crispy and nice.
You talked about Phasing on 9m20sec. Let suppose it is not a 3d heli. What does that phasing doe Coeshow?
I have no idea why it’s in the 6250. It’s basically to give input before the blades come back over the canopy. It makes it so the blade behind the other can even out the input. It’s totally old school and it’s basically for a 5 bladed head for scale applications

Just like this except pick the BNF you are working with, or use the 5.6 public open stock and start fresh like I did in this video. You need a Spektrum 3065 programmer cable. And you need to download the Spektrum updated to your computer. Here is a link. Do it like this. Except with the firmware you need.

Hey brother, I have everything set the same but for some reason when I go back to the main menu and scroll down to Gyro, everything is set exactly the same but the channel will not show aux 2 . It will not allow me to assign it to everything but aux2 and I’m using the NX10 also
Aux 2 is probably assigned somewhere in the radio itself. Go to channel assignment and inhibit aux 3 so it will show up in 6250. That 6250 is like Pandora’s box. It needs an easier program.
Created a new model and started over. lol, it’s all good now. Just have to go through the setup process now.
I truly appreciate your response and the videos your putting out for us.

What cable are you using for your secondary receiver that is plugged into AUX1?
4651t plugs into program port. DSMx remote receiver for a secondary is plugged in on the side with the micro UMX connector on the remote receiver extension cable. Aux 1 is open. Or you can plug in the bec wire , the grey wire , or a rpm sensor for nitro governor. Watch the Spektrum RC UA-cam series for 6250hx set up. I think you are on the wrong track.

Hello there. I got a little problem with my 230s. Every time i tightened the motor mount screws worst vibrations come along and the gyro get a headache. My only solution is not to tightened them up and the whole motor mount slides forward and backwards but it works fine is this normal? I use 4 tiny balls of sticky rubber to hold it in place. I am a professional and want tight screws :) Greetings from Germany by the way. Forgive me my bad germisch.
Just set the gear mesh with a rolling paper or tissue paper. Get it between the pinion and the main gear, tighten the screws and roll the main gear to get the paper out. There needs to be slight play between the pinion and the main gear.
Oh and you need a bier when you do it. Prost!!
In the future can you do a video like this for the SAB RAW 580 or are you limited to horizon heli’s?
It’s the same exact thing in a Kraken 580 or Raw or whatever with this 6250HX. They all have 120 degree swash and they all adjust this same exact way. Even the air temperature and altitude you fly at make a difference with PID tuning. Just use my base line and work it out flying. Next video will be tuning. May be tomorrow or later this week

When the heli is in gov mode? Does the normal throttle curve have to stay 50%? For the governor to work?
First you need to use a Spektrum smart esc programmer to set into heli store governor mode. Now you need to set a 0,50,50,50,50 throttle and a linear pitch curve. Spool up the heli and leave at center stick for 20 seconds. Now hit hold. Unplug the battery, set 0,65,65,65,65 for normal throttle. Set 75,75,75,75,75 for stunt 1. Set 85,85,85,85,85 for stunt 2. You can put 32,42,50,75,100 for Normal pitch curve now so you can land in Normal mode. The governor works over 50% throttle. So you can run about 52% in Normal mode for the lowest. We tend not to go over 85% for stunt 2 so we have overhead. Hope this helps.

Hi Justin, I have a question about the 6250 in a 480 Fusion. I had a tail rotor or tail servo drift and I was told that if you go into foward programming and do a calibrate that would MAYBE solve that issue. Unfortunately it sent the 6250 into a failsafe mode or at least that what the flashing light indicates. Do you know how to get around this issue or undo what I did?
It just flashes and will do nothing but flash. Did I kill the whole thing? Can a simple calibration fuck up the whole unit in such a way that it's dead? What if I do a factory reset would that just give it a clean slate and restart the install. I just don't want to start willynilly screwing up anything else. Help a brother out plzzzzzzzzzzz
I’m sorry. I don’t go deep into that 6250.
Hey when adjusting tale gain. Do you do all the ajusting on forward programming?
Thank you... Good job.
Hi coe show, I have a great question for you: when I exit the foward programing menu, my itnitial spool up is too fast, I break blades because off that: If I dont go in foward programing menu, my initial spool up is really smooth! Do you know why and how can I resolve this issue? Thabks
Yeah, it happens to me too. I have no idea why it does that. I have asked so many questions. They always think it’s just me. Ask on SpektrumRC channel. Maybe he’ll answer you. Then let me know.
@@CoeShow619 i write to horizon hobby and its because when you go in the foward prograimg menu, the 6250hx disable the throttle signal for the esc! When you exit the menu, the 6250HX active the throttle signal for the esc. When that happen, the esc doesnt apply the set up for the start up mode that you put!
@@interceptorqc7534 Agree. I’ve told them about it too. Try Tom at SpektrumRC UA-cam channel. He may have an answer.
Hello, I have noticed this fast spool after exiting forward programing only happens with spektrum Avian esc, I have fc2650hx setup with align esc and no issue with fast spool after exiting forward programing.
My rudder servo turns about a quarter of what it should. When I tested with this full throw. Any thoughts?
Yep. On tester it needs to be 760us and if it’s in the heli, you need to set 760us /560hz in the flybarless system. It is a tail servo. It will only move slightly on 333/1520.
@@CoeShow619 Thank you, it works better but still doesn't get full throw. I was taking it out of my Spectrum beastex 7200. At the time it was working great. I'm using a blade 450 with high-tech HSG 5083 MG. I can only get it about 3/4 of the way to the end stops on the rudder.
@@N8904V in forward programming, set up, tail rotor, go to travel and set it. Otherwise lengthen your rudder servo arm if you can’t get a number of like 120 or less work for you.
Ya know what. I’m thinking the servos I use. If you have the less expensive servos. They need to be set at 1520 /333 for the tail. Then do the travel adjust in forward programing tail rotor set up.
@@CoeShow619 Thanks for all your help still trying to figure it out. It must be something simple that I can't figure out. On the 7200 you could set pulse width. (Just guessing) Im assuming the 6250 is dumb down. The fight goes on.
Hi there, I had a crash with my 360 smart (on 3s) and have replaced all three cyclic servos! Was trying to set them up and after some manual adjustment of the servo horns and using sub trim in Forward Programming, I have achieved a level swash and horns look pretty much at 90 degrees when at mid-stick. I put the top links and blades on and got the pitch gauge on. At 0 stick I am getting -0.05, at mid stick +4.3 degrees and at full up stick, +17.6 degrees!! My AFR settings are Roll, 75, Pitch 50 and collective 45. Something is clearly not right here - I am still a beginner and would like a fairly tame value here (maybe from -7 to +7 degrees. Can you help at all? Thank you in advance.
Same here. Fusion 360 Smart on 3S. Replaced the gears in all 3 servos. Servo arms at 90. Swash level. Washout arms perpendicular to main shaft. Blade grip links measured same and zero pitch at mid stick. Struggling to get the blade tracking right. Plus there is a slight shake when in hover. Not sure why I would have to play with PID settings now but guess thats next. Just cant get blades to track spot on. Help
@@excchp2284 I have the same problem! @CoeShow619
Any solution?
We're is the serial number for spm4651t dsmx srxl2 .that comes in the super combo kit so I can register product for updates??
Hook up to your Spektrum 3065 program cable, open the Spektrum program on your computer. Plug in a battery to the 6250. It will see everything it needs. Hit register my device, and it will put it on your Spektrum product list. Watch a Spektrum video about 6250
Hook what up to my 3065 computer and ?
I got it done thanks so much. I was getting sick of this Helio
@@edgardojagr216 ok awesome. I didn’t have my glasses on and when I saw 4651 I thought it said 6250. Too many damn numbers. Yeah, that program cable is a mystery, but somehow it knows. Haha.
I had to walk away from it last night. Today i got everything working. I hate computers..lol i do
Dude. I hate computers too. It’s the millennial generation and it messes with my 46 year old head too. I like all my options stated in a manual. All this guessing makes me so nuts. I learned about the 6250 flybarless by just hitting buttons. I can’t even follow along with the factory videos. They have too many terms in computer language. So I know why you mean. Just realize you are on top of the food chain with helicopters, so be proud that you can actually handle the stress. The want to fly should be more powerful than the stupid issues we face. It’s a fight, and we need to win.
hi whats your favorite giro , i see u hav a brain and the spektrum , r they comparable, i hav all beastx would like to try another one . cheers
Thank YOU
Thanks!
thank you
I followed your set up for a new system, when I power up the heli, all the servos move to one direction, why? what did I miss?
I’m not positive, but maybe you are plugged in to the ports in the wrong order, or you need to go to 6250hx set up menu and go to swash, and go to Reverse, and get them going the right direction. Also, you must pick your swash type. It can be any one of those. I also don’t know what helicopter you are trying to set up.
Swash type in radio is 90 degree normal. Swash type in 6250hx is the type of head layout you have. Most are 120 degree swash.
@@CoeShow619 Thanks, I had the aileron servo and the pitch servo in the wrong port.
Will this setup work on the nx8??
Yes. Same thing.
nice
When I goto forward programming the tx say warning throttle high. Y????
Maybe you went in at 4:20. Or you didn’t use throttle hold. Go to flight mode set up. Set switch H as Hold mode.
Got it. I have to put it on hold to work.. got it. It works. Your the man.
@@edgardojagr216 Sweet. Happy flying dude. Take your time. Heli pilots on top.
Also I can only get aux 3. Not 2 in my gyro channel. I have a nx8 is it different from your 10nx?
Wat happens when you watch this in England, your passenger side is different lol,so does it matter wat side is passenger or driver
Yes it matters. If you look at the swash type menu in set up, it shows the servo order.
Y? Does the tail drift. I go right and it wants too drift left by it's self. Trying to set tail but servo moves to one end or other
Because when you set your gyro orientation for the way it is mounted, you need to level the helicopter and hit calibrate in the system set up menu in forward programming
When can I tell when calibration is done the radio just tells me it's calibrating the lights on the fly bar unit just keeps blinking
@@edgardojagr216 don’t shake the table. Don’t let the fan run on the speed control. Don’t play rap music. It has to be still. Also hit complete.
