Anthony León, Tenor - "Un nuevo siglo" by Placido Domingo Jr. (HAPPY NEW YEAR!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I wanted to post this song from my most recent vespers Christmas concert because I think it brings a beautiful message for the future in a time when we need one the most. Placido Domingo Jr. wrote this wonderful song in 2000 for his famous father, and it was recorded for the Three Tenors Christmas Concert. The title translates to "A New Century," and the lyrics send a heartfelt prayer to God, asking him to give us a new era with opportunities to realize ambitions with humility-a time when suffering will cease and hope for the world will flourish.
