Harrison "Professor" Stafford leader of the group GROUNDATION speaks about the history and the importance of the legendary singer Fredrick "Toots" Hibbert.
Respect Harrison !!! Give thanks for this tribute. I was blessed to see Toots live a few times. One time in particular was probably in my top 2 shows I’ve ever seen. It was probably around 1994 at the palace in Hollywood. The Legendary Justin Hinds opened the show, followed by a set from A young Junior Toots, and then the Great Toots and the Maytals. And wouldn’t you know there was a special guest in the audience and Toots called him on stage for a few songs and it was The Godfather Joe Higgs. At the time I was only about 20 yrs old and unfortunately didn’t realize what I was seeing, I just knew it was an Incredible show. All of these greats live on forever through there music. Thanks for the tribute and all your work Professor.
