Really like the smoke stack aging Dan. They look like two old pieces of pipe. Authentic aging technique achieved!

Thanks. I’m very pleased with them. This boat has a lot of brass railings and appointments, I just can’t bring myself to painting them….. I’m guessing they will darken over time. I was tempted to age them similarly to the smokestacks, but decided against that. I’m making a lot of progress and expect to finish it in the next couple of weeks 👍

Great work Dan! The brass railing also has a curve that should match the deck...I had to do some minor cuts on mine to get it to fit right.
    Love your build!

My railing should have fit perfectly, but in the ca glue drying it slipped about 1/2 mm closer on the bow end, which in turn created a 1/2mm gap at aft…. It would have matched up exactly 😵‍💫.

@BuckmansModelMania I should have noticed it ….. but going around and holding it in place…… I could rip it off and try again but decided it would only worsen 🫨. I’ll show it in my next segment.👍

Here’s the link to the current version that’s available from Amazon for $229.00 after a $100 off coupon. (Same deal I found a little before Christmas 2023.)
I’m very happy with it. But it took a little while to figure out how to print the correct size.
Basically you create an image and make it a picture file. You can adjust the exact size just prior to burning it onto whatever item you using. Definitely like the 10watt. But you really need to monitor the burn. Power can also be adjusted so you can create something on paper as well as wood or even metal for that matter!
      Thanks for watching 👍👍
