Amazed to hear my name. Very happy to support your wonderful work. I am 70 and like you I do not need the money. That said I am VERY HAPPY TO DONATE AGAIN. Your tips will make my build so much better and easier. From my HEART thank you sir. Gods blessings to you and yours.

Congratulation Dan! Great job, nice looking boat you got here. Love that you solved the mystery of the ships whistle lol Hey, it looks great!

Thanks. It was a fun build that didn’t take all that long to complete. I’m taking a two week break, then I’ll get started on The Flying Dutchman 😁. It’ll be my summer project that will probably take until next year to finish. 👍👍

Dan, my grandfather and his brother had a boat building business on the Ohio River at Clarington Ohio. Mozena ship building!

No wonder you are building this ship! It’s in your blood. A tribute to your family heritage that will no doubt live on for generations beyond you. I sincerely appreciate your generosity and will put the funds to good use in my future builds as my journey continues in this very rewarding hobby.
      Thank you 👍❤️👍

I would love to offer to laser cut a small sign, that would be your family’s “Monzena” Ship builders.
I could also laser a smaller Est. 1852 (or whatever year, or years they were in business.). Example:
      MONZENA Ship builders
      Est. 1860-1910
You can put it over the Chaperon with tiny brass screws or adhesive.
I can send it and then you decide later. You can email me the details at:
      boilerdanone@gmail.com
I’ll be on vacation for the next 3 weeks but will get it done upon my return home.
