I know! I've seen videos of flooded MaClarens and thought how hard would it be to get a Carpenter to make a waterproof door for the garage or buy flood bag ?
Scott here’s a tip for removing the crazed film from the headlights, cover the film with another piece of fresh vinyl rub it down & then warm it up & it will remove both at the same time…. Thank me later👍
Hi Scott yes but you need to heat them both up & rub down the new vinyl so the top fresh vinyl really bites onto the crazed & holds it together as one piece. I’ve removed old roof vinyl stripes using that method otherwise you will be peeling bits the size of your finger nail off! There are also sprays that you can buy that lift the vinyl off but that leaves a residual glue mess. I’ve found the best tar & glue remover to be from AutoSmart, product is Tardis Solvbitume that bumps through the adhesive without any issues on the paintwork.
@@rg807 Hi Rob pouring boiling water on it won’t work on crazed vinyl. All the boiling water does is heats up the glue of the vinyl making it tacky again. When the vinyl has been sunbaked & the surface has crazed it basically has split into thousands of parts & becomes brittle & when you try to remove it takes forever as Scott found. If the vinyl is not too old & not crazed boiling water will help but a heat gun is much better as the boiling water soon cools down.
Hi Scott that 360 looks quite decent after you put your hands on it Great work! Shout out to Sam saw his Green 360 videos and the roof repair videos also great videos by Sam
Looked so much better, ‘surprisingly’ a load of hard work has improved it dramatically. What does surprise me is why Sam didn’t protect it more from rodents. You’d have a full on nightmare if they’d been in there chewing wires!
I know it’s all about good content but it breaks my heart to see these cars treated so poorly😢 Sam really should step up his game and be a better custodian for these classics.
"Hey Sam, where's your detailing brush ?" ... Handed a paint brush ... "Hey Sam, where's your foam cannon ?" ... Handed a blue laundry bucket. The struggle is real 🙂
18:11 YES!! BROTHER!!! I worked as a detailer for a while as a young guy and the difference we could make was worth a lot of cash in selling a car. A clean looking car is a nice place to be and presents like a car that's been looked after. Even if it wasn't. LOL.
Love the way you guys bounce off each other. I quite like the colour, with a polish it will look fantastic. Massive transformation, it did look like a skip.
Of course Sam would sell his best Ferrari because for some that damn green one is his baby... Sam was right about one thing thou.. we be missing that BBi build .
I'm surprised he didnt like the color at first, that is very reminicent of a 71' Cuda I came across in Hemmings Muscle Machines, called the Rapid Transit cuda 71, should be able to find the google photos of it, its this really beautiful auburn metalic, granted the photos are weirdly distorted in the magazine it was a proper stunner, like I've never seen a cuda look that good before, also FYI Scott you've got a 70 Cuda near you, Mr Sam Hard got one for a steal of all steals like when I found the post he made, jesus he somehow got a 70 Cuda without an engine for what I could have gotten that 68 for about 20 years ago
Here in Sydney in the late 90s a guy grabbed what he thought was an abandoned Ferrari (can't remember what it was) off the street and spent a fortune refurbishing it,a few months later the owner came back from Europe, took him to court, won the case and got his car back rebuilt for free.
That colour (or one very close) seemed to be a popular one for the 599, which it arguably suits better. Definitely not going to be selling point for the 360 but not a deal-breaker either, I would have thought.
You know the crazy thing is Sam still gets the "No complete projects" complaints on his own channel so often, he could have posted this for an easy win.
What a terrible shame letting an amazing car like this sit neglected like this. Hopefully it’ll go to a good home and an owner who won’t ignore and neglect it.
Sam's Florida estate, where exotic cars go to wither away among the chickens & cows and become rodent out houses until he gets around to attempting to resurrect them!
You won that bet. As long as Sam doesn’t sell it to Rich so he can put it in a shipping container of rice, you should get ready to collect on your debt.
That's Sam for ya. A 360 that ONLY needed a cleanup and he wants to get rid of it. Meanwhile, the other two he keeps sinking more money into and discovering new problems every time he fixes a previously discovered problem. He just doesn't make good decisions. That's why I unsubscribed from all of his socials two years ago.
Easier way to remove ppf or window tint. Cut a piece out of a black plastic garbage bag to the shape of the area of film you wanna remove. Spray the area with water and apply the piece of garbage bag. Squeegee the water out from underneath the plastic bag. Park the car in the sun for 20 minutes, at which point the black plastic bag will be very hot to the touch. Peel of the bag and ppf/window tint together. Bingo, film removed and no residue
Great contribution from one of the all time great 🎉 360 whispers. Scott, once you finish the beautiful 512 BB. I think it would be a fantastic challenge for you to do a complete resto on the RataRosa into A completely refreshed roadster
For such expensive cars, those 360's don't appear to hang together very well from an interior point of view. Appreciate they are getting old now, but I think most run-of-the-mill cars will last a whole lot better
Honestly this one is better than the green and blue one.
Any car of Sams that I work on is worth more than when he touches it 🤣🤣🤣
Yep I was about to write the same
That's why this one was chosen to be sold - since it can be actually sold in current state 🤣
@@Ratarossa Proper good job on this one, Scott. Hope you can pocket a few coins from its sale.
@@Ratarossa get me in touch with Sam, I’ll buy it ..
I genuinely love the colour.... It's seriously pretty....
Sam did NOT want to sell that 360 after your handiwork, Scott. 🤣 It's easily the best looking one of the three. ✌🏻🇺🇸
It drives me crazy how Sam couldn't buy a car cover for such a beautiful car .Great work you deserve 15percent.
what do you expect from a small and poor chicken farmer 🤷🏻♂
@@p__jay yeah poor Sam
I know! I've seen videos of flooded MaClarens and thought how hard would it be to get a Carpenter to make a waterproof door for the garage or buy flood bag ?
You're a good man Scott! Made that car look really hopeful. All it needed was a little attention to show its potential .
I chuckled Scott when you referred to Sam as "my chicken farmer friend", it's true, but funny!
Sam can't buy a car to save his life but he don't have to pay 4-5 dollars for eggs
The Challenge grill alone is a hefty upgrade... Well done Scott!! You show him! 🙂
That coupe is sweet. A keeper !
Scott here’s a tip for removing the crazed film from the headlights, cover the film with another piece of fresh vinyl rub it down & then warm it up & it will remove both at the same time…. Thank me later👍
Really would that actually work …. That stuff was the worse I’ve ever seen !!
Hi Scott yes but you need to heat them both up & rub down the new vinyl so the top fresh vinyl really bites onto the crazed & holds it together as one piece. @@4cds14 great tip thanks
@ammonyc pours boiling hot water over film and it comes off fairly easily. Another method that might work too.

Hi Scott that 360 looks quite decent after you put your hands on it Great work! Shout out to Sam saw his Green 360 videos and the roof repair videos also great videos by Sam
I love the color of that car. Looks awesome.
Me to. Ive tried to convince Sam to keep it and let me put some Strad kit on it.
That was an amazing transformation.
Looked so much better, ‘surprisingly’ a load of hard work has improved it dramatically. What does surprise me is why Sam didn’t protect it more from rodents. You’d have a full on nightmare if they’d been in there chewing wires!
OK Scotty, 10 grand for a partial detail, mini restoration, Haha, the car was all there in almost perfect shape, less car wash, and Lens polish.😀
The most satisfying car cleaning video I have watched thank you scott😁
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it
Have you not watched Scotts BBi first wash in over 20 years!!!
@@idesignyou...9257 I am new to this channel so I haven't had the chance to watch the video but I will watch it soon
Amazing transformation! Love these 360 videos. Nice work Scott!!
Great results for a bit of elbow grease & experience, good luck with the sale! 🙏🙏
Amazing job. Also, love that triple layer red.
Amazing what can be achieved with quite simple cleaning products & a good bit of time.
Sam’s right Scott,get back on the BBi!!😂👍
Glad to see another OCD detail dude, but not Too OCD. Just the tip per se. Love it Scott. Funny how I just found SamCrac. Wicked cool as well. Thanks
That colours is gorgeous and the coupe is far better
I know it’s all about good content but it breaks my heart to see these cars treated so poorly😢 Sam really should step up his game and be a better custodian for these classics.
Amazing what a wash and polish can do.
Unbelievable in fact.
Lizard jerky! A very nice southern treat.
Wow, simply Wow. Amazing work, the 360 looks wonderful. A crime and senseless that it got in that condition. Nice job!
I can’t help but think he looks like Adam Sandler every time he came on camera 🤣🤣
It’s his twin
"Hey Sam, where's your detailing brush ?" ... Handed a paint brush ... "Hey Sam, where's your foam cannon ?" ... Handed a blue laundry bucket. The struggle is real 🙂
All farmers in Florida have an old Vette laying in the field. The Ferrari transformation is a money shot.
Very nice Scott! Indeed, this 360 looks the best obviously, although I've got to admit green is my favorite color..

Great work watching from the UK
Get something bought not a gt3 tho
Budget buy wrecker
Sam I love the color, and I'm sure many others do too, keep it!
The Modena looks awesome. Good Job, Scott.
Now get the hell back to the BBi ;)
Wow that's a beautiful car. I like the color.
Adam Sandler has a nice collection of Ferrari 360’s… I didn’t know he was that into them to have 3.
Seeing the Pizza car again is great
Love the color
LMAO the Ferrari he parked for two years and never touched is his best one... because of course. Dude this is the one to keep ngl.
i know right, compared to his other 2 360s, this one is far nicer condition! haha
@@murry001 Definitive proof that cars are better off with Sam not trying to fix them hahaha
It amazes me how people can neglect high end vehicles like this. Samcrac: BUILD A GARAGE!!!

I love the 360's! Sad to see this one in dis repair.
This one is an easy diamond in the rough
Wow! Nice transformation!
I honestly like the Red simple because it looks way better than the other two especially that interior
That was a fun video!!! Cant wait to see the final result!!
Sam needs to build a steel building on his property to store the better cars.
I think that's a great colour, understated and classy.
Of course Sam would sell his best Ferrari because for some that damn green one is his baby... Sam was right about one thing thou.. we be missing that BBi build .

Great Job!, it hurts when i saw this Ferrari in a bad condition.
That car looks real good
I like this one best out of all three ..keep it and get rid of the green
You have really now idea of what kind of car that zr1in the background is rattarosa. Probably the best engine that ever come from your country mate.

That looks superb. I like that red.
The 360 coups are just beautiful. Shame he didn't just put a car cover over it.
Should sell the two convertibles and keep the coupe.
Fix the cluster and clean up the mirrors.
It looked fantastic after your hard work.
Watching that leaf blower was satisfying!

Awww this needs to be a freedom factory car!!!

It is *very Florida, isn't it?
Almost like he shouldn’t own any of them. Not a fan.
If Crac can't fix it with $15. of Duct Tape, and Rattle can Paint he gives up. 🤫🤐
paint side facing the grass and gravel ..... rata-car-detailing branch coming soon :D
Amazing !!
Sam is providing a world class education in how to build a car graveyard. 🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful color
Yes. Get back on the BBI!!
I hope you realised that the hose-clamp of the left-hand throttle body was laying around in the leaves on the left. 😁
Come on now, get the BBI out on the road already! Spring is in the air.
I would have kept this 1 and gotten rid of the green car. I don't like soft top convertibles though. Also hate green cars so yeah.
In the 1960s Ferrari made a small 4 cylinder car. The FIAT group should have them make some more of those to be a "Halo car" at FIAT dealers.
Removing the tints would do wonders for it
You won that bet. As long as Sam doesn’t sell it to Rich so he can put it in a shipping container of rice, you should get ready to collect on your debt.
Those are the most aftermarket looking OEM wheels i've ever seen on a Ferrari.
My thoughts exactly, get on the BBi
Very entertaining, guys 🙂 Great loadup.
