00:32 4K isn't an aspect ratio it's a video resolution...

4K UHD is a commercialized term describing the resolution of 3840 pixels across the top of the video and 2160 pixels across the side of the video. So he's correct the aspect ratio of 4K is 3840x2160.
Also 4K DCI is a different aspect ratio than 4K UHD, whereas 4K DCI is actually 4096x2160.
Aspect ratio: the amount of pixels across the top and side of an image that make up the total amount of pixels in the image
Resolution: The total amount of pixels in an image that is expressed in PPI units (pixels per inch)
Pixel Density: The amount of information a screen can display per pixel. Usually the larger the screen the more information it can display within a single pixel.
@@TeamRichTV I beg to differ. 4K can be both 3840x2160 or 2160x3840 and is commonly used in these ways. Both are the same video resolution but different aspect ratios. I rest my case.
@@TeamRichTV That's still called a 16:9 aspect ratio...
16:9 looks best across screens. 4:3 isn't great for much really. Going wider than 16:9 leaves black bars in the top and bottom of too many screens
Your video has big black bars top and bottom on My tablet so I zoomed in however, if I had to keep manually zooming in and out every other video amd channel that would be annoying.

many errors friend - 4k is uhd and uhd is 3840X2160 and that is16:9; also UHD isn't an aspect ratio, it's a resolution 3840 pixels by 2160 pixels. the 16:9 is the aspect ratio, which is the same as 1920 x 1080. which has always been what the best aspect ration is to film in

Awesome, many new creators myself included export to full HD so I have to figure out the 2:1 ratio for it
Try 1920x960 that may be it. Not certain though
16 9 has to be the only format basically I watch 90% of UA-cam on a tablet, I haven't used My TV in years.
although I think the idea is intereseting to export in 2:1/18:9 instead of 16:9, I don't thing this will work.
e.g. gaming content is recorded most of the time in 16:9, which you can't crop since there are some HUD elements and important information you would lose. Playing / recordiung on an Ultrawide Monitor would work. these have an aspect ration of 21:9. many movies have a very smillar aspect ratio as they are relesed in cinema scope 2,35:1 (21,15:9).

Haha, what a funny guy. Just cause he thinks, 4:3 is the best aspect ratio he declares 16:9 for UA-cam "finished". This guy is really funny and does not know a lot of film-making.
Am i the only one watching YT on PC/Desktop? Most Ultrawide PC monitors are 3440x1440 native (21:9).
I watch a lot of YT videos on desktop but according to my poll and other sources too most people watch on mobile now
You should NOT shoot or render at 24p. All monitors and phones screens refresh at multiples of 30Hz (usually 60 Hz). 30/24 is not an integer, so you get jerky motion. Not to mention blurry motion assuming you follow the 180 rule.
Nice topic that I, honesty, never thought about. Normally, I record 4K and export it that way. But now I'm seeing that vertical side bars. But never got bored with them. On TV, they look great.
On my S22 Ultra, that has a very wide screen, that vertical bars never used to bore me, and when they do, I just do a pinch to zoom in, and it tstays fine. But, I'll definitely going to make some tests on this. Nice topic to bring up.
I always think about what the audience is going to strive for and if it's how to content, I'm sure the quality of the video is still king or queen :-)
