I will try to answer questions to the best of my ability. I am not too familiar with this stuff so please do not expect all the right answers. I can only tell you what I have learned for myself.

Yes, if caught by the dealership they will void warranties. A simple way to not get caught is flashing the ECU back to stock as explained in the video.

I did this to my camry about two weeks ago. Did the enhanced throttle plus cold air intake. Best decision ever, the car is such a blast to drive.

@@ojc8203 D3 has on their instagram page and website the dyno sheet and exact numbers of how much Torque, HP, & WHP you will get. It’s nothing CRAZY but definitely enough to feel a big difference

The only thing I regret getting for my camry is the yofer body kit . It looks great all around, but the front lip sits so low that I knew it wasn't going to last long . I cracked it the other day ... of course, hirevsports raised their prices for their kits, so now it's a ridiculous price to get it replaced . 🙄 I hit up custom tuning on ig but never got a reply . Guess I'll be taking the front lip off . Anyways, I just had to vent about it, haha . I'll definitely be getting this tune soon. Thanks for the video . This might sound dumb but did you take it to get tuned first or did the performance tuner mini computer do it all ?
I got a i4 xp package camry with a custom exhaust, and when i tell you ive been told that i can be heard from a mile away 😂, my exhaust already pops. They say my car sound like a wrx. Each time I take my car to the dealership, the people love to just start the car it self 😂😂👌🏾

Oh yeah, I didn’t mention this in the video but I think it’s something I should clarify for people.
87 Octane is regular Gas
91/93 Octane is premium
You have to use the correct gas in your car for the tune to work properly.
If you use 91/93 Oct gasoline without the tune I’m sorry but you’re WASTING YOUR MONEY
*YOU MUST HAVE A CAI (Cold air intake) & Catback exhaust system if you plan on running 93 Octane tune otherwise you really won’t get the full effect.

Tbh if you want your Camry to be more enjoyable performance wise get it, if you bought the Camry for performance. Go trade the car in right now 😂😂😂😂😂 cause honestly this difference is child’s play compared to other cars out there that have MUCH MORE potential

I had the I4 Camry and got the d3 tune AEM intake and magnaflow cat back system it was cool and all but I traded it in for the XSE V6 best decision I’ve ever made stock it’s way faster than my I4 tuned ever would be

The tune is a good, but the issue is the gear ratios and the fact that its a 8 speed auto instead of a 6 speed. To many gears to hunt for. But I LOVED my 21 SE she was fun :)

You will have to explore different exhuast system options. Most options are only for SE/XSE
Ok I have questions and hopefully you can answer them. I have a 4 cylinder XSE no cold air intake yet or exhaust yet. Do you have to keep the d3 plugged in at all times or can you disconnect after the tuning is done? Should I get the d3 after I get my cold air intake and exhaust or does it matter? Also is it worth the price to get the d3 performance? Hopefully you’ll respond and if not love what your doing to the Camry enjoy the ride.

Hey Jay Where It Says 93 CAI Enhances Throttle Did You Have That Custom Made With the tuner and do you benefit more off that tune then just the regular 93 CAI tune
D3 worded each tune themselves when they updated it. And personally I can’t give you a full opinion on that because I’ve been using the horse power tune honestly since i had it. In my opinion the HP is the most responsive

I agree. It’s actually inconsistent tbh. Sometimes the trans will shift quick on the 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd but act sluggish on all the higher gears
Is there a reason why I don’t see all 8 settings? my d3 chip is only showing 4 settings. Missing all the enhanced throttle ones. I’ve only installed the AEM cold intake though and still haven’t installed Borla cat back exhaust for my Camry SE.

As soon as someone near me get a set for me to install on their vehicle I will most definitely do it. The only reason why I didn’t do a video on mine because the mirrors are customized with RGB leds and wiring that would’ve confused the hell out of everyone and I don’t need to make thing complicated on a UA-cam video.
The thing is killing it is that transmission gears are to long and it doesn’t catch speed fast enough but in terms of power is more responsive

Did yours take a few drives or days maybe a week to really experience the difference? Seems like it's worth it to me. You didn't speak about the shifting. They said the tune provides "improved drive-ability", which I can only assume means the transmission tuning that I have seen them talk about. Did you feel any difference there, or does it shift the same?
Yeah I didn’t do the best explaining this one. I will post an update but to answer your question yes the shifting is amazing with the tune

Peddle commander or any throttle controller will NOT increase your HP/WHP or torque to your car. All your doing with that is tricking the computer into thinking your pushing down the gas further than you’re actually are.

Far as I know man there’s only one tuner for 4cyl from D3. I got the initial first batch when it came out after May 31, 2022 if that makes a difference 🤷🏽♂️
I contacted d3 and there are more tunes available for the 4cyl . I even got them to update the page to reflect it

You need a cold air intake and a cat back. Otherwise your car will not be running for what it’s tuned for. Don’t be cheap the tune is 630 and an intake is 300
