Living in the remote Himalayas | Village Life in Uttarakhand| Uttarakhand Trip| The Young Monk

Village life in the Himalayas is quite simple yet challenging. In north India Uttarakhand, Himachal, Ladakh and Kashmir are the Himalayan states and majority of the population lives in small villages in the mountains. Recently I went to Har ki Dun trek in Uttarakhand where I got a chance to visit some remote villages in the upper Himalayas and I explored their lifestyle. I had already seen village life in Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal and this video is about village life in Uttarakhand.

Such a beautiful place. So similar to Kashmir in look, culture and feel. Lovely people in a society that hasn’t yet been damaged by modern diseases like mobile phones and social media. People speak to each other and children play. That’s how it supposed to be. Love and peace from a uk based Kashmiri.
