Yup and those trashy kids don't even live in that area or the surrounding cities in that area fuckin ghetto trashy lids need to stay in their own ghetto city 😮💨
No the mall ruined it for other teenagers nobody forced them to say kids cant come without a parent this is classic discrimination here
They ruined it in more ways than one. What about the ones who get bullied by the punks?
Kinda sad that probably 80 percent of the 14-17 year old kids there are probably more than fine to shop by themselves, but the 20 perfect out of control kids are ruining it for them.
The mall ruined it for themselves 😂 80 percent of people that shop there are kids. What’s gonna happen when they lose 60 percent of foot traffic? That malls gonna go bankrupt 😂

I was with my dad shopping (I’m 19 almost 20) and a group of teens about 16yo passed by and sprayed fart spray at my dad. What pissed me off was that there was no securities that day and those teens ran away as soon as I turned and saw. My poor dad had to go to the restroom and clean that nasty smell
bunch of dick heads. Who knows how many people they did that to.
That’s disgusting. I love myself a good fart prank, but not at your dad. Glad it wasn’t actual shit. Very sorry to hear that. Tell your dad for me hope he’s doing well.
I hate to say it there was probably security there. The problem is the fact that they seem to hide out near the bathrooms. At the least my local one, they don't patrol. They don't walk around. They don't really have a presence and honestly they don't really do anything. Most of them are there to sit on their ass
The parents not in favor are the ones with bad kids. 😂
🤔 if my tax dollars were going to keep the lights and air running.. my children (whom are good) should be able to enjoy it.
The kids in the video are not even from this area and causing trouble in the mall for ALL who live around here.

yep, im in favor of this. this also means there's screening of who is entering the mall so maybe these masked bandits that try to grab and run can be deterred upon entry or caught as they try to exit the mall.
This is so stupid and criminal. It is unlawful to harass a person because of his or her age. Banning a law-abiding teenager with no arrest record of looting or other crimes from working or shopping in a mall is age discrimination and harassment.
What the police are doing is like saying, "We are powerless to stop the teen looters. We are unable to stop them because of the policy of the liberal politicians and because we don't want to be criticized as discriminating against criminals. We are willing to sacrifice the freedom of law-abiding teenagers to stop the teen criminals to make it appear that the teen criminals are not the target of this discriminatory policy."
Requiring a teenager with criminal record of looting or other crimes to enter a mall only when the teenager is accompanied by an adult who will be treated as an accomplice if the teenager commits a crime again under the supervision of that adult is a more reasonable policy.
Is there going to be a law that requires every politician to be accompanied by a supervising adult with no criminal record when the politician wants to enter a congressional building just because SOME politicians are found to have criminal records?
that is private property..
they could choose and pick who could come to the facility...

When I was in 9th grade, in the month of April, food fights were becoming a daily occurrence in the school cafeteria. Eventually, the principal and the dean had enough. They passed strict rules for lunch. When lunch began, we had to stand in line. No talking. Supervisors were standing by to enforce the rules. We were told to take our lunches to a table and sit down. No standing. No talking. When we were done with our meal, we had to raise a hand and ask a supervisor to be excused. Lots of us cried foul. "Why are we ALL being punished? Most of us weren't food fighting?!" We were told that it was necessary to re-establish proper behavior. We were stuck with those strict rules for the rest of the semester (2 months). Looking back, the school administrators were right. Do what ya gotta do.
Yeah and today you're left with bitter memories. What your school shouldve done was 1) offer support for students 2) offer more activities and transport home from said activities and 3) I it was a recurring student causing fights, remove them from the equation instead of punishing EVERYONE. It sounds like they weren't prepared for their job and Idve sued the shit out of that school for punishing my child by barring them from socializing, something young people absolutely NEED, instead of handling the students CAUSING problems.
@@thegayestgoth It wasn't clear who was starting the food fights. It was many students and administrators couldn't determine how the fights were starting, so they couldn't remove anyone. They set forth very strict rules for eating at the tables. After being excused from eating, we were free to leave the cafeteria and socialize elsewhere on the campus for the remainder of the lunch period. Bitter memories? Not really. For 20 to 30 minutes, it just felt like we were in the military. Offer support? Whatever that means. I knew a guy who lost his lunch tray because someone ran past him, knocking it out of this hands. They guy didn't have lunch that day. After the harsh procedures were put into place, we were all able to eat in peace.
"No talking, raise hands to be excused," damn, that's as strict as alternative school or juvenile detention(jail) if not stricter, when I was in alternative school, you just had to wait for everyone to be done eating to empty.

These kids have no respect or morals because they weren't disciplined. Kids calling cops on parents over a spanking just shows how weak these kids are.
What about teens calling swats on other teens for just beating them on a video game?
no, it shows how weak an adult is, if they think its alright to hit a small child. and it shows how mature the kid is, if they have the strenght of character to say `no, you will not hurt me` and if you do you will have consequences legally.. and most of these horrible acting kids are actually acting out from their parents abusing them, not from having no spankings.
@@garconerproduction3046 I think you just proved their point
My mom spanked us real good if we ever had the gal to act disrespectful to her or others. She would still let us act like kids playing outside, rough housing, going out with friends but we knew not like brats. Wen we did we got spanked and guess what we never pulled crap like so many kids do now. No respect for anything or anyone. When we were younger my older brother would threaten my mom to call the police if she spanked him and she would tell him to go ahead but that going into the system wouldn’t be anywhere as nice or loving as home. He never had the guts to call and would apologize. As we got older we were rarely ever spanked since we were brought up to be respectful. Now as an adult I thank my mom for being hard on us because I have way tougher skin and am way more respectful than so many of my peers and definitely more than kids these days.

Just imagine living the rest of your life knowing that your bad behavior ruined it for everyone now, and in the future.
If you’ve got a conscience to imagine the thought, that is.
My town tried to do this at our mall. It lasted all of a month. The police nor security would enforce the curfew. This rule also applied to the surrounding areas and shopping centers and restaurants around the mall because the company owned most of the properties. There was no way they could enforce a rule with that many properties to watch over. The lockdown fixed most of it, though. Now, barely anyone goes to our mall
Exactly, they're going to end up going out of business like the rest of the malls in the USA.
Thats what I'm thinking. ESPECIALLY in Torrance/LA. Eventually, it's going to turn into a lawsuit.
There’s a large arcade at my mall that stays open until like 3am. At 8pm security starts doing ID checks for anyone who enters and walk around checking anyone who’s already in. It’s not hard to enforce, for a mall you’d just need a few more security guards. People at your mall are just lazy.
It should be a CA law make parents accountable
This is sad to see. But it is good they are taking this action in view of recent events there. My mom took me to Del Amo Shopping Center often in the 1960s. It was still open air and limited to one area. I spent much time with my best friend or boyfriends there in the early 1970s. Times have certainly changed.
I was in a mall in LA and with mom. I got hired: mom noticed a sign "Now Hiring" and I got a great Union paid job (thought my first check was a big mistake, too much money) I took MOM to my interview. Mom rocks: 96 yesterday. I'd take MY MOM anywhere.

Good!! I hope the Sacramento region will do this as well.
I can't remember the last time I set foot in Del Amo and it's about 15 minutes down the road from me. I'm surprised it's still operational as malls seem to be dying all over the country in favor of outdoor shopping like Bella Terra in Huntington Beach, Irvine Spectrum, and the Outlets at Orange (formerly known as The Block). The Sears at the end of Del Amo closed ages ago and the parking lot is pretty much abandoned. The Southbay Galleria is so dead. So many stores have closed. We never seemed to have this problem when I was growing up and going to the mall. These knuckleheads have lost it. No fear of authority because if you smack them around and clock them when they step out of line, you're the one getting in trouble. The parents instill no fear or intimidation. I get Friday, but what's so magical about after 3:00 on Saturday? What happened to Sunday? And what happens if a mob gets together to just bum rush the place?
The malls they speak about closing are small. Del Amo remains one of the top 10 biggest malls in the entire country, so I don't think it's shutting its doors anytime soon.

As someone who works for a cosmetic company and work at both Ulta and Sephora, I'm legit hoping this becomes a thing everywhere. Those kids will come in huge groups and destroy testerd, open boxes, use live products, and everyday we get complaints from other guests that they're being harassed by the kids.

Teenagers and malls go hand-in-hand, socially and financially. They won’t come with their parents. Also, malls are considered a third place for a lot of young people to go hang out.
What sucks about this whole thing. Is that the perpetrators aren't even from the naborhood. Whenever there's a problem at that mall. It's kids from outside of the naborhood. Whatever it takes to bring back the piece, make it so. Fun how the amusement park Knotts berry farm had to do the same thing.
