Extra tips: My Melody likes Pink latte but the guide I found first said that those were made with Sakura which you unlock mid-game. But you can also make pink latte with strawberry. 2. Take hello kitty with you when cooking everywhere once you unlock her ability and she'll randomly give you extra of what you're cooking. 3. Take chococat with you when crafting for the same reason- random extra craft items. 4. Take my melody with you when gifting villagers- you'll randomly get extra return gifts. 5. Check your in game mailbox- devs sent some extra gifts. 6. Sometimes the game has a quest unlocked that you actually can't finish yet, if you can't figure out how to do something- it might be that you need a new tool first. 7. I think it probably is possible to get to all residents on day 1 but some of them are in far off places- have to explore without the map and then when you get to a character- it unlocks it. 8. The collection nul shows how many of each item are spawned on your item but it also includes some items that you aren't able to pick up- actions you take change some of the landscape- and some amount of a certain item don't spawn until you complete the relevant quest. Count also would include items that spawn underwater even if you haven't unlocked snorkeling yet.

I was hoping for tips on who to prioritize the friendship with. Of course, you want to raise the level with all of them, but I mean for unlocking content. I made sure to give Kuromi the best gifts to hurry and get her friendship level high enough to unlock the snorkel. So, knowing who to prioritize and use quality resources on first would be cool. 🙂
Hello Kitty and My Melody are my fave companions. Hello Kitty gives you 10% friendship boost at level 12 and so many extra goodies to bake (+ coffee, pizza, soda, etc). My Melody is great for getting extra return gifts. If you want stuff like catching rare bugs then Kerropi is good. It really depends on what your priorities are, that's why I did not suggest specific companions

Do you think the deluxe version is worth it for the extra money? It's quite a lot more but I see it gives quite a lot of items that would normally take a long time to get.
I think it's worth it but it's not necessary! I covered what I got from the Deluxe version in this stream: ua-cam.com/users/liveEDNWFX3beA8?si=4-QnjoERXwKja5LX It helps to have it but you can play without it. Once you are mid to late game, it makes the grind a bit easier if you are impatient
@MissBubbles thanks! I got really bored and got the base edition a few days ago 😂. Thankfully there is no motion sickness for me (my biggest concern since I'm very sensitive to that kind of thing). I did see on Reddit a lot of really controversial claims about the developer. They (she? Not sure) are extremely rude to people on Discord and Reddit and censor people for even the simplest of questions. Mostly about their future plans for the game with regards to yearly events and how the OG people (from apple arcade) will get new content while new players will just get the original content until the following year lol. Saying it's gatekeeping virtual items and stuff. Should take a look into it because it maaaaay impact what people think of the game and whether they want to buy it.
No time travelling as it can completely ruin your game. They give you a prompt stating this in game. You can change the time on your switch still but make sure it is synced every time when you open Hello Kitty.
It can get your game into a state that the devs say they can’t fix, which is terrifying. Also stops you from being allowed to do multiplayer. They bring back the items from previous events each year so you shouldn’t need to TT on here. :3

Slight correction she ALWAYS give you the amount you make (for an example you make 5 pizzas she gives you 5 pizzas)
