- Ok, the Chateau has been meticulously cleaned, and we're ready for our first group of 2022 students. We thought it might be nice for them, and for you to see what awaits them.
You’re doing a magnificent job restoring this beautiful place…and to know you’re faith based and using your home as a sort of sanctuary for kids is awesome.God Bless you 2.
I pray that God's grace flows through the classes. Many blessing for your work.
🇺🇸🙏🕊🇺🇦
I love the Chateau it’s looking amazing! Love see how much fun the Kids have! Something they will never forget!!💜🌈💜
I can sure see how difficult it would be to close up and say goodbye to your beautiful chateau! She's like an elegant lady watching over her domain! Thankfully the Lord is watching over her! So thankful the roofers are lined up and on the schedule, what a relief!
Welcome back to our beautiful North West! It's much colder outside, but hopefully a LOT warmer inside! I'll be looking forward to seeing what you post next, and again, would so love to meet you in person! Lord bless your work and labor of love!
Mary from WallaWalla!
You guys are great! The place is just gorgeous and the work you have done is AMAZING. God bless and keep you🙏
I am happy for you both. Your hard work and dedication have paid off. Well done. A plan always come together when your heart is in the right place.
House is looking great. Love the main floor especially. The best part I think are all the huge windows everywhere. Even in all the bathrooms. Good luck with your new crew.
Can you get a sponsor to support the restoration? I would love to see what you and your amazing amazing wife could do with a really large decorating budget. Good luck guys love the channel!
Loved the walk thru. The London bathroom, "The WC." It's beautiful. You've done so much work.
Everything looks very inviting. God bless you and your new group of students. Blessings.
Enjoyed your tour, love seeing your adorable dog too! Looks like a fun adventure for all of you!
Everything looks amazing and ready to go. Wish you all the best and may lives be changed!! Look forward to hearing how things go!!
I wish you more and success. I have been following and you seem very good people and well educated, too. This is going to be successful. God Bless
Lovely that the chateau comes alive again. Well done guys - it’s a long journey but you have made a great start. Thank you for sharing - from Brisbane Australia.
Blessing on your ministry. The Chateau looks very nice. Safe journeys throughout the next few weeks with the students.
I just love how most of the Chateau is original.
The lady sure did rush us along! 🏃♀️
I cannot believe how lucky both of you are to own such a lovely chateau. To be able to share that lovely house with people, be able to make money to make a living as well as money to endlessly restore and repair it is a blessing. I love your channel and the work that you do.
Thank you!
I enjoy all your videos. Your home looks amazing. God Bless You & Yours
Looking spectacular as always
Have fun enjoy all the kids!
The Chateau is beautiful, and what a wonderful way to be using it.
Oh my days I absolutely adore the pink bidet 🤩
very nice, and the people will love it. It has some a vibe to it.
Looking great you guys. What a whirlwind! It was a great idea to follow Leslie up the steps because you really can't fathom the height of the building until she becomes dwarfed by the front door! Can't wait to see it all with the roses in bloom 🧡
God bless you Rob for always waving when passing in front of a mirror 🙂
Love the message about getting with a community Rob and Leslie. Life is indeed no good alone.
Amazing the difference from December and now in those rooms and spaces. It must feel great to endure those lonely cold times renovating the house and then contrast that with the place full of life.
The whole house is beautiful.
You actually are building a brand, call it as you will. The wallpaper is wonderful! What a shame it isn’t in good condition.
Good to see the house coming to life again with lots of people. Prayers for a good semester.
You have a lot of influence in this world, whether you know it or not. I am asking you to announce or to ask people to donate to the toys for tots. I remember my sister coming home from grade school one day and telling of a black child that had only gotten a coloring book and some colors for Christmas. That still drives me to tears.
Congratulations again! You are both so inspiring and I love this channel!
If you going to do up a Chateau then you two are certainly doing it from the ground up, such a great way to get to know how it was built. Maybe you can expand like the British series Escape to the Chateau, the Strawbridges certainly with fame ended up with additional financial support. Love watching your episodes, God Bless, be safe and watch out for those ghosts 👻
It is beautiful 👋👋👋👏👏👏
What a beautiful Chateau, but it's all that beautiful land that makes me joyous. Cheers from Melbs
Love it all! ❤️🙏
I'm not a fan of green but the green living room is exquisite 💚
The boys room ‘Le Bureau’ is fabulous!
Beautiful château
God bless your endeavors! What a fabulous experience for your students. I can see the chateau coming alive when your students arrive!
Such a beautiful chateau. The students will be very fortunate to experience such a lovely place. I wish you much success.
So glad so see one of these beautiful houses being used for the Lord's work...I am sure it makes Him very happy
A wonderful chateau you two! Praying for you both. God bless you as you teach scripture (3:50)! 🙏
Love your videos xx
Good Job Guys!
Thanks for sharing with us! What a beautiful part of the world you have discovered. Lots of hard work but everything is looking fabulous! Great job 👍
Love it. Looks great.
Things look just beautiful! So happy for you all. Praying God blesses the time with the young people & you feel his presence with you all!
Many of Gods blessings to you and through you, for this coming season. 🙏 You’re both very inspiring! Thank you for sharing your journey.
Have I ever seen anything more beautiful? I am not sure…
beautiful chateau!
Enjoyed. The inside is looking beautiful! The bedrooms also look more finished and comfortable. Great job! Prayers.
It's always great to see the Chateau again. A person who is good with very old windows is valuable indeed. The experience you are offering young people is exceptional. A safe place with fabulous history, away from the bustle, but close enough to visit important locations in France. I love to see your eyes twinkle when you talk about it. Have fun in Paris! :)
RE your mold problem.
Mold is caused by high humidity and lack of airflow. Boaters have the very same issue. What works in stopping mold is a fan that circulates the air. You suggested having a person stay in the chateau during the winter when your not there, but the secret is to move or remove the humidity trapped inside the chateau with fans directed where the mold has been seen. The airflow stops the condensation forming and condensing into mold.
What a beautiful château…..🙌🏻
Beautiful❤
The rooms you've painted are beautiful soft tones. I prefer your taste to what had been done before you.
Hello Rob and Leslie... this series is my guilty pleasure as I have travelled throughout France and have a special spot for the Loire Valley in my heart. Having worked with Martha Stewart and House & Home ( Canadian!!) I like your decor approach.
I do have a question as a - not so closet - foodie.. I am very curious about the meals you plan for your students. Great grounds.. so much potential for herb gardens and kitchen garden -- what are your plans if any?
xoxo
Que lindo castelo!
Would love a slower tour when you have the time so we can appreciate the furniture as well as the house.
Oh wow, wonderful classes for semester, I went to Bible College myself and it was a life changer.
Good luck for this season 🍀
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
I love all the quirky bathrooms!
It’s Beautiful great job guys 😊
Looking forward to summer terms. Remember the students could contribute to your videos. They are on to vlogs. Yes it would take time to edit but save you having to do all the work. Would also love to see snippets of what materials you use (the speakers) as long as it doesn't affect copyright laws. Chateau looks beautiful. Wish I'd had a opportunity like this when starting out. God bless your sessions!!
Looks great! Would love to visit someday.
What about the kitchen status…any changes down there? Look forward to the back splash behind the stove reveal !
Bible project videos...The Chosen is an amazing series. So awesome to watch and then read the stories in the bible. Congrats on being ready for the students!!! It looks amazing. ( Michigan, USA )
I'm in love 🥰
I didn’t remember the Landing! Very nice!
Have you considered using Patreon 🤔 it would certainly help with all the continuing renovations . It must be a wonderful experience for all your students when they visit 😊 such an Incredible Chatueau ❤
Respect!!!
We Are The Church ! I Am The Church !
The man who invented those toilets name was….wait for it…Thomas Crapper.
I’m looking at a chateau in France but am having a difficult time finding out who to talk to about it since it is abandoned
There’s a reason there are so many « staff » rooms! 😊
Good afternoon noon is, may I please ask what type of business non profit . Beautiful building. 🙏
Everything is amazing and beautiful! I have one question. Where do the students put there belongs?
Hm....that "Miami" green for that room? How about sage green or other muted tone of green? Just a thought. 🤫
What a transformation has been since last year? God bless you both.
Leslie is an interior designer, that obviously wasn't their choice. It was painted that way when they bought it. Their laundry list is long, they'll get to it. I'm sure it will depend on what they find for that adjoining bedroom.
Idk. The tile in the bathroom of the second bedroom you showed on the upper floor. It appears burgundy or brown in the video. The tile itself isn't bad. However, it probably should have been installed horizontally instead of vertically.
It's the up and down pattern that throws the appearance off.
Wonder why previous owners would have had it put in that way.
Love your Swedish sofa in living room. Where did you find that?
Interesting tour. So what exactly are your potential students there for? What ages are you catering for again? Would love to hear what this is all about. Newby here.

I REALLY want to be a part of this project! BTW, have you seen the new curse tablet found at Mt. Ebal? Check out the Associates for Biblical Archaeology's channel and you'll see the first inscription of YWH! It's really exciting because it helps date the exodus! Would love to see what you are teaching the kids. Thanks for the longer views of that gorgeous chateau!! I would jump at the chance to visit and volunteer by you two!! God bless and keep you and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your uploads.
The place is looking great. You guys have worked really hard. Maybe I missed it, but I'm not seeing something, that in my opinion, is essential for your students to fully experience the atmosphere of a mid-19th century French chateau. There is no piano! At least one of those grand rooms needs a baby grand. Any plans to get one?
Ohhhh we need one so bad.... Both Leslie and I spent years on the piano and both still play regularly (for personal pleasure and at church sometimes).
Very small chateau, but very nice.
This isn't all of it. It is really a decent size.....without being too big.
And yours is bigger?
@@iyzabel oh that tattie old shack 🤣😂🤣
Where did you guys go ?
Do you have a website, so I can find out more about your programme and what you offer your students?
www.loirevalleystudyabroad.com
What type of classes are you teaching ?
www.loirevalleystudyabroad.com/courses
What do you teach the students?
www.loirevalleystudyabroad.com/courses
дом для прислуги!! хозяев обычно дома не бывает
Beautiful place!! Wish you would teach them foreign affairs and economics, arts and culture. Do you also teach them some French? Bible studies seems so unintellectual but I am sure I don’t know much!
Well... at the university level one usually teaches their expertise:) And I have no advanced degrees in the disciplines you mention. We do try to help them with some basic French, and certainly helping them explore new countries will help them accommodate their schemata.
Yes, the opportunity to travel is the best education one could get! Bravo for you, love your chateau and set up, best of luck!!
Rob have you lost weight? You are looking very fit.
Are u planning on removing all the "amusement park stuff" it looks so out of place
What type of school do you have at this chateau? You said something about the Bible. Is this a summer Bible school? Probably can't be a year round thing because a real education involves math, science, history, literature, etc..
We host a 2 month study abroad program. We're independent, but... so far about 10 universities have granted us transfer credit, and we have articulation agreements with about 3 schools. We offer 12 semester credits (4 classes).

Incidentally, religious studies can be found in most large schools, indeed, many of the most distinguished schools began as primarily religious schools.

I've just discovered your channel. Are you Christians?
Yep
Would there be any chance you all would be willing to hear a presentation of some of the many problems with the 66 books that comprise the Protestant Bible? It might be helpful in fully understanding the Christian world view. You do not want your kids going out into the world without knowing how the Bible was written and the many pitfalls built into the Christian faith. P.S. The house looks wonderful!
God builds or it is useless.. Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain.
