Oh man I wish lived closer so we could go to estate sales together. So many good finds this week but I think the butter pats were my favorite!! And the tarnished silverware!!😍🥰❤️

I’ve had that Nativity Cross for several years now. 😊 That blue and yellow handkerchief- beautiful! That handmade sleigh- awesome. Those afghans- the one you are keeping looks knitted and so nice! The little dog makes me think that he was looking at a butterfly that landed on his tail- that would be an easy “fix”. That box of ornaments for Haley 👍🏻. I think your idea of corsage or large pins for that white Christmas tree is perfect! I would keep it white. You found lots of goodies.
I picked up that dog that looked like it was missing something on the tail…I think it was maybe for like ironing…it actually had water in it👀 so you could sprinkle it on clothes to help with ironing 😳I won’t be using it that way. Just keeping it as a figurine 😅

Good morning my sweet friend! That old saying.. the early bird gets the worm.. so true isn't it?!😉 Southern Pines is right beside my home town! My 2 oldest grandkids live there In Pinehurst. We shopped went to eat there quite often. They have tons of good restaurants there!😁 I are with just having a moment to remember sometimes, without interrupting it. Oh Wow..i know that wait was a long one!😬 Lol Some people just lie like a second breath, comes natural!🤦♀️ The nativity ornament is really pretty! Ughh everyone finds the peg racks all the time, I've yet to even see one out!🫤 The old match holder is so cool! My old granny had one by her dining room fireplace that had strawberries on it. She had a cast iron one in the living room. I'd love to have one to put some hanging greenery in! I so want to collect more of the hen on nest, in all 3 sizes! My large one like that is amber, the green is so pretty! The silver utensil is very pretty!🤍 You know i love the hymnal, haven't found any in awhile to add to my collection. My husband used to sing in a southern gospel quartet, he sang the verses on 'This World Is Not My Home' everyone sang the chorus. I remember all those songs from my childhood too. Oh wow.. the tiny brass shaker, i have a larger one just like it, and only have one also!😁 I was in some donations we had for our thrift store. We got things with Tennessee on it all the time of course! My old granny used to keep boxes of those long matches too. Her stove was a really old gas stove & she used them to light the burners & oven as well a the fireplaces. I love the box of red ornaments you're keeping. I rarely see hankies.. you find them like no tomorrow😄 I'm hoping once i really get out I'll find more things I'm looking for! The few places I've been I didn't care for, except the habitat. We're going to the any mall in Tampa after Thanksgiving, we're leaving for NC tomorrow to spend the week with my MIL. Those are all beautiful! I love them! Oh i love the Victorian looking angel ornaments you got for Hayley!❤ God is most definitely my hiding place! I have lots of candle holders but no candleabra..i really want a brasa one!! Oh yes mam the Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Pinehurst, Carthage, West End area is a very beautiful place! (All of Moore county.) One of my husbands younger brothers lives there now too. He an insurance agent, you may have seen his photo on seeing billboards!😄 Now imagine that on mountain sides & valleys.. one reason why i love Tennessee so much!😊 NC is pretty too tho. And I enjoyed growing up there. Daniel Boone was there!😂 Oh I love the granny square afghan! Beautiful!❤ Yesss.. the sleigh is gorgeous! I have a couple of small ones that aren't anything special. I want a big one like that for the vignette i want to do on my electric fireplace cabinet. I always pick up brass pieces when they're affordable. I have a pretty nice collection of brass pieces. Well lucky you! I have yet to find a butter pat of any kind🫤 Girl I love the old shaving brushes too! I do have one & the old cup it was in, but I'd love to find some more! You're so right, they don't make this old scissors lot they used to! I need a pair for the sewing box i have with all the pieces my mom had in hers, she had the black handled scissors worn like those are. Another thing I never see our are the candle snuffers! I bought one from an online antique store back before we ever moved but it has the wood handle..i want a all brass one. Those Are beautiful!❤ Your scissors are beautiful too! The wood handle is A really cool piece. I have one of the tiny ladles but its brass. Love the spoons, i would love to find more tomato spoons. I agree on the verse, using faith! Hi Dusti, I think you found some amazing things at both these sales. It is so fun riding along and the scenery was just beautiful. I was thinking about you this morning and what adventures and treasures you might find today, as I went to our church thrift store. I did find a very old crock and old barrel looking cookie jar that has the copper bands on it. I got it for $4 so I think I did pretty good.Despite starting back on chemo and feeling rough, I chose to get out and enjoy some fresh air and shopping. I so appreciate you sharing scripture. You are so right. Our Lord does protect us and I am sure often we do not even know to the level he does that. I am so blessed to have my mom's spoon rack and collection after she passed away. I love the detail in those pieces. Your home looks so lovely and cozy for this season. May God bless you and your family richly in this upcoming week and thank you so much for bringing us along.

I always joke I need a bigger home to hold it all. I always end up finding a new piece here and there. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! We have some real cold days coming here in Eastern Iowa.

Hello Julie, it will be interesting one day when we see Him face to face and are able to look back and see His hand of protection especially over things we thought were good or good for us and He said no or I have something better. Hobby Lobby sells the small insert lights for your white Christmas Tree. They look pretty even if you can’t light it. Could then piece with the broken end be an old fountain pen?
