I've not seen too many that are that expensive, but I imagine if you were looking for some obscure titles on, I don't know, medieval China or something like that that no one cares about, then maybe.
I’m starting to see these appear on the shelves at the library book-sale rooms I frequent. Their look and feel is pretty meh (and obviously so, if you look at it for more than a moment). Not at all tempting, even for 50 cents.
The thing with imaginary friends, one can play that game! Best wishes and happy reading James.
So a series of Steve Classics with Steve Introductions and Steve Annotations, might be w winning strategy?
Who is this "Steve"? Is he even a booktuber, bro?
Thanks for the heads up.
thanks for watching!
"If that’s a veiled criticism about the classics, I won’t hear it and I won’t respond to it."
It's a pdf of Oliver Twist. What could it cost--ten dollars?
I try not to use those PoD houses; usually the charge _isn’t_ cheap but $20 for some photocopy of an 1840 printing, or more.

I put the publisher in the search to avoid those fakes. You can also look at the size many are 8.5 X 11 LOL
That size is a dead give-away, but only one in a hundred buyers are going to check that.
This is pretty depressing. I really hope I don't end up buying one of these books I would be so upset. Bookmaking used to be an art.
Book making and binding still is an art, but these are trash.
There's always money in the banana stand.

I live in Orange County. Anytime anyone says “the OC,” I respond “don’t call it that” without offering more context to explain the reference.

Oy. Hate it!
Also: is that video title an “Arrested Development” allusion? If so, bless you!
It is!
