I love how Void Space diving is basically the same as Warp travel in Warhammer 40k: sending a tiny piece of reality, enshrined in arcane technologies that keep it - just barely - safe, straight into an alternate dimension of Immaterium, where emotions take shape and all shape distorts beyond mortal understanding, and _something immeasurably evil_ might actually be living in it.
It’s the same in how both void space and the warp were actually pretty harmless before those other entities settled in there. Mind you, the imaginary numbers space is back to being a safely nonexistent place again after Chaldea deals with the threat there, at least.
Thank you for providing this video. Out of the Crypters introduced thus far, the one I have liked the most is Kadoc. I can empathize with his sense of inadequacy, and his relationship with Anastasia is touching. The one I’m looking forward to meeting is Beryl...so I can beat him within an inch of his life. He will pay dearly for his crimes. I was at first intimidated by Kirschtaria (especially after his impressive display of power), but after getting to know him, I grew to like him quite a lot. In another lifetime, I would have enjoyed calling him a friend. I liked Ophelia and Scandinavia as well, and I truly wish I could’ve helped Hinako. From what I’ve seen, Daybit seems fairly kind to his allies, but there is a great pressure he exerts by his presence and reputation. I do not look forward to facing him. As I’ve said...DOUMAN SUCKS. ____ OFF AND DIE. I do not care much for Koyanskaya either, and I do not like having to fight Muramasa. I expect the protagonist of Fate/stay night will put up a terrifying fight. Kirei is as terrible as ever, but at the same time, entertaining. Once you know what kind of jackass you’re dealing with, you almost like him. I look forward to settling matters with him. I...know who the Alien God is...and I’m not looking forward to facing her. That failure...it will haunt me for some time.
Regarding the Crypters, (minor spoiler below) Did you know that Kadoc is Polish, Ophelia is German, Hinako or Yu Mei-Ren is either Japanese or Chinese, Scandinavia is Japanese, Kirschtaria and Beryl are both from Great Britain (Kirschtaria specifically being English), and Daybit is from Nevada.
Okay, crazy theory: What if the Kirei and Shirou used for the hosts of Rasputin and Muramasa are the ones from the Grand Ordr timeline who “died” during the Grail War Marisbury participated in. The Alien God then brought them back similar to the Crypters and asked them to join her, Kirei agreed and that’s he’s in control of his new pseudo servant body but Shirou disagreed (not wanting to be a reason behind humanities extinction), needing allies anyway, The Alien God summoned a servant using Shirou as a host but unlike with Kirei, allowed for the Heroic Spirit(Muramasa) to stay in control.
Muramasa didn’t even want to serve the AG, he just can’t disobey since he was summoned by the AG. With Rasputin and Kirei, Rasputin was in control at first, but he gave control over to Kirei after he fulfilled his desire to help Anastasia. There’s an issue with Kirei, though; his corpse was incinerated after the 2004 Fuyuki HGW, and Sherlock finds it strange that he was able to manifest as a Pseudo-Servant vessel. Not sure why, though I vaguely remember something about their bodies being plucked out of the timeline as it was incinerated to serve as hosts, so I guess Pseudo-Servants can only be hosted by those in the “modern” day?
Great video as always, Dai! Also, did you catch that, during the SERAPH event, BB alludes to the coming of The Lostbelts? First she mentions that Chaldea is unable to Rayshift past 2019 (and immediately says that it does not pertain to the SERAPH event). Then, towards the very end of the same event, she mentions that, because she loves humanity, she will "lock humanity up and create a dystopia," and tells us not to worry because she "won't activate it unless the human population on Earth falls drops below three percent."
@saber 1616 I know for me all of it being cannon is one of the things I like most about the nasuverse. Normally I just prefer not to know story plot before I get to that part of the story.
@saber 1616 I kinda have to agree with you on this one lol. I think one of the best things about the nasuverse is that no matter where you look theres something everyone can enjoy
Thank you for all the hard work you put in your lore videos DaiKun. They’re really easy to understand, which I greatly appreciate since I’m slow when it comes to franchise’s with complicated lore like Fate. I look forward to seeing more.
Riding in a APC like Vehicle in a Snowy wasteland while jumping into different realities that represent what humanity could have been in a dead time line, and also having to use mythical spirits to aid you in battle while fighting other mythical spirits? This is the Plot of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey!! Though I will admit SMT: SJ did lack proper Waifus lol
Well if fujimaru dies that's the only way they could be reunited, heroes dont live long, mashu and Olga where never seen as heroes fujimaru is, it's been foreshadowed not heavily tho, and its taking a toll on their mental health due to what gender they take
Plot twist : All team A (now crypter) members actualy good guy. Yes that include Beryl who actualy gentle knight Sir Marok and Daybit who simply misunderstood person
So the world is in danger again and now we have to save it. I will admit though, the Lords of the Association work fast. Like an hour after saving the world the Clock Tower is already selling Chaldea to the highest bidder. Sheesh. So damn fast. Ah, these Crypters could easily kill us in one stroke. I guess we are really lucky. At any rate, thank you for this lore explanation here Dai Kun. The chess pieces and drops of water behind your avatar gives me No Game No Life vibes, or that scene in Fate/Zero with the chess pieces.

My take on the story: Snotty brats decide to rewrite the humanity the way they want. And they act high and mighty for taking a nap while i was dealing with the saving of humanity battling lots of powerful foe with my life on the front line. I don't care what reason they have they are dead
Prologue was amazing but annoying as many already died in the beggining of the story but only now can I understand why mashu didn't want to leave so badly. I felt the same way not wanting to leave the room Romani was in eating his cakes and watching Magi Mari. But yeah I'll destory every crypter I get my hands on but they don't do well anways in the lostbelts which is funny as I thought they would be the main enemies in each place but they aren't. I just hope it doesn't end in fuyuki like I think It will
it's funnier when you do Akuta's interlude and find out she should have never been a master which actually makes her worse than the guy from lostbelt one who considered himself a loser, the best crypters ability wise are still Daybit and Krystaria which is fitting as they know eachother before becoming Crypters

Fairies hate him so I guess it's more him trying to kill many different species The r@pe in story is a lot less than most think especially medusa for example since nasu actually did his research which is why Medusa is fine when she was alive due to the real bad guy Athena who was jealous as real history had more evil women which is why I don't like canies she is an edgy OC only from a later Greek story that did more abuse stuff in general to down posidon as people like to look at the worst in gods like zues same as galahad being the perfect knight when that was lancleot which was better as the greatest knight falling leading to the rebellion mordred used on artoria makes more sense than the second greatest one while galahad is around. Even his birth is again edgy as lancleot was drugged for it to happen as he already forsakened his honor for guenivere so doing it twice would be dumb. The lb stories feel like many small stories on an overall connected one but not well executed as many plots need to wrap up in the story as different writers are working on it. Even saying it's only half done I don't like. Lb 5 is halfway so either lb 6 and 7 are super long or another new story is coming.
@@ivanbluecool lostbelts are said to be part 2 with Nasu planing up to a part 3 so if lostbelts 6 and 7 are both like 5 where it's split in half it should give them the time they need especially if lostbelt 6 is going back to Camalot and Lostbelt 7 is dealing with south america and ORT

I wonder what would have happened if A) Team A never died and would have fought Goetia and B) what would've happened in the prologue if our Servants were never unsummoned
A) Either most or all of Team A would have been killed by Goetia at London, because they woud be credible threats. If not, then a majority would have bitten the dust, as Wodime/Daybit can confirm. Nasu actually explained what would happen to the Crypters had they replaced Ritsuka in Part 1. Everyone besides Kadoc, Daybit and Wodime would die, and Kadoc could only win if he had Lostbelt Anastasia (AKA its functionally impossible). Daybit would beat Goetia, but wouldn't make it past Shinjuku in Epic of Remnant, because he does not want to make friends nor be understood. Wodime would make it to the Lostbelt Arc, but would fail because he is a Crypter (As in, he would support Lostbelt 5 and do what he would have done in the game). B) I'd actually be interested in this, but I'm pretty sure the likely answer is that it would cause a massive shitshow with both the United Nations and Mage's Association.

I am still convinced that the reason timelines of condensate is because of Gaia in Aleah not because of the universe because if I remember correctly, I haven’t feel ritual alone turns one’s soul into a perpetual motion machine granting a limitless amount of prana. If you see the human soul can reduce an infinite amount of old over an infinite period of time provided it has the correct magic when pruning loss belt needed to happen, because the knowledge of how to produce limitless source of energy should be either in the route or coded into the universe itself. This entire series just told me that Nasu has a near nazi level hard on for humanity.
I didn't even know that one could make an entire species a Mary Sue, but he achieved it.
Arent we already a mary sue? Considering that about 90% of wildlife is either stronger, faster, or even smarter? We only became the top dogs in this world because of our mary sueness

'Why covet the loli, when you can be the loli?'- Dai-kun, March 2021
For new fans that are unaware, The Nasuverse doesn't get spoiled, it gets fact-checked. You want to see things yourself, but you can come to sources like these videos and discuss them with fellow masters.
Give it ten thousand years or twenty ;D
"Effectively kirei-proof" okay I'll admit, you got me pretty good with that one
It's time to save the world! Again, again.
I'm slowly walking into hell that is the Fate series.
After going thru the prologue, and the first 3 lostbelts... Who the hell names their kid Daybit?
I know right?
Fun fact the kanji’s used for fantasy tree can also be read as cosmic tree
Probably miss david and daybit.
There are theories about his name and that it’s actually an anagram.
daybit? DAYBIIIIIT
Great video, but the "ch" in "Oprichniki" is read like the "ch" in "chess". Can't wait to see the story of the first lostbelt!
Crazy how you were able to condense so much information into a 23 min video and still make it understandable! Thank you for explaining the lore!
Regarding the Crypters, (minor spoiler below)
Did you know that Kadoc is Polish, Ophelia is German, Hinako or Yu Mei-Ren is either Japanese or Chinese, Scandinavia is Japanese, Kirschtaria and Beryl are both from Great Britain (Kirschtaria specifically being English), and Daybit is from Nevada.
Okay, crazy theory:
What if the Kirei and Shirou used for the hosts of Rasputin and Muramasa are the ones from the Grand Ordr timeline who “died” during the Grail War Marisbury participated in.
That could work but it sad
Normally I'm not much on spoilers but in this case it was more helpful than a hindrance. Always love the lore vids there so in-depth

As a time constrained FGO player, these videos help me catch up and still appreciate the story of the game. Thank you
Thank you for all the hard work you put in your lore videos DaiKun. They’re really easy to understand, which I greatly appreciate since I’m slow when it comes to franchise’s with complicated lore like Fate. I look forward to seeing more.

THANK YOU FOR THIS SERIES! I was able to skip through the Epics of remnant and get to the Lostbelt Prologue much faster!
So the world is in danger again and now we have to save it. I will admit though, the Lords of the Association work fast. Like an hour after saving the world the Clock Tower is already selling Chaldea to the highest bidder. Sheesh. So damn fast.

My take on the story:
Snotty brats decide to rewrite the humanity the way they want.
And they act high and mighty for taking a nap while i was dealing with the saving of humanity battling lots of powerful foe with my life on the front line.
I don't care what reason they have they are dead

In case I never mention this, I'd just like to thank you for these videos. They're very informative, and funny when need be.
@@sdbzfan1 kadoc is still a genius in getting servants to side with him. Ophelia is somehow a huge idiot compared and yu funny is she is aggressive in battle which is a good subversion of her character.
Kadoc is basically a better shinji as shinji at most just got Medusa through begging and blackmail sakura who is an idiot in how she words things while Shirou can't figure it out either. Kadoc at least used everything to his advantage
Don't know about Pepe yet and Beryl is boring and hope his backstory with mashu isn't what I think it is or I'll lose all respect for dw(not joking)

@@ivanbluecool to be honest i know fate and its history with rape has everyone iffy about beryl but the reason why im not going there is two things, the hints that the dude is probably a canabel and hos love of murder, i know the talks about her having an amazing body make people think he's sizing her up but beryl is a sweet taker because hes a psycho he knows how to sound human which makes him sound less human, i took roman steping in to stop him because i though he was gonna see how much torment her new demi servant body can take as he talks about how durable she is as a shielder and how boring it is that people die before he can have some real fun
@@sdbzfan1 sinces it's a mobile at most it will be Beryl wanting to see if a non human screams in pain trying every time bur who cares as everyone of them died in the first part and by part 2 that's such a long time which is why I don't really care about most crypters. Fairies hate him so I guess it's more him trying to kill many different species
The r@pe in story is a lot less than most think especially medusa for example since nasu actually did his research which is why Medusa is fine when she was alive due to the real bad guy Athena who was jealous as real history had more evil women which is why I don't like canies she is an edgy OC only from a later Greek story that did more abuse stuff in general to down posidon as people like to look at the worst in gods like zues same as galahad being the perfect knight when that was lancleot which was better as the greatest knight falling leading to the rebellion mordred used on artoria makes more sense than the second greatest one while galahad is around.

This is going to be amazing. Let's go!
Finally!! Can't wait to hear each lostbelt now ^^

Void Space sounds an awful lot like the warp within warhammer 40k and the astral realm present within the occult literature of our world!
Edit: The TypeMoon wikia even states that if the Void Space were to be converted into an observable phenomena it would drive people insane... that def sounds like the warp, in which case Geronimo would be classifed as one of humanity's earliest psykers within the nasuverse, however Geronimo still manages to stay sane due to the warp/void space not being tainted by chaos gods (due to them not reaching their full potential) , now as a fate/warhammer 40k fan i gotta write a fanfic about this, duty demands it!
