He was a good provider; he become a good child support. Lol. Don’t be afraid, my kids are happy. Has passed 8 years ... he asked me to married him many times. But, never looked back, like Tony said, took him to get divorced his family , meaning it’s over.... life it’s beautiful , I can’t waste my life with him. I’m happy, I don’t have a boyfriend but I have peace and two beautiful kids in college.

Why do we as women think that we can change these men, or the man you're married to, or the man you are dating? She dated him for five years, I'm sure in five years she saw the red flags and even the burning buildings, so apparently she thought she could change him. Now 20 years later the situation has escalated and has gotten worse. She has given so much of herself that she has lost her own identity and strength. As the saying goes "when a person shows you who they are believe them". I am sure within 5 years he showed his true colors but she just ignored it, but now it's amplified to the 15th power.

Went through it for 16 years. God told me to leave. I was lollygagging like Lot' wife and then God showed me what was going to be my end result if I did not leave. Open my eyes and I said no. Found me an apartment, packed up the kids, got me a moving truck and never went back. I had to get over myself because God told me, "what part of he doesn't want you, you don't understand? Go do what you got to do." Filed for that child support. This was in 1998. But it is still relevant today. It took a lot, but God had to show me how it was killing me and affecting my children. And proved to me He would take care of me and He did. Single mom, but God blessed us. I am a true and living testimony. If I would have stayed, I would have eventually taken him out. Real talk.
Amazing thanksgiving lecture. I am a young woman who was "addicted" to nasty movies for 16 years!!! Over half my life. On my journey to stopping forever, therapy for my childhood traumas etx, prayer, exercise, organizing my space and more, I found your channel Tony, on the topic of "Situationships". I am a blessed tribe member and your channel is helping me immensely make the decision, WRITTEN down on paper months ago, that I will never watch or partake in that realm again. Four months out, I have moved cities, left all my friends who were also into that and never helped when I said I thought it was a problem for me, and the changes go on. I can relate to this story. I lost 10 years in a horrible marriage. But February 2017 is when I decided to pack our two kids and leave. There were many tears , depression ect. It seems as though the husband has fallen out of love. However, women love extremely hard so it’s difficult to just let go of someone that you have been with for years, someone that you still love.
It feels as if he did not ever stand in love with her, he does not choose it daily. His battle existed way before he even met his wife, it stayed, flared, and festered. She, like many of us, I do not necessarily mean you, I mean me and other women think we can talk through it and find a solution, we can love/nurture it away; Or the man will outgrow, overcome, admit it, deal/fight it everyday but choose to be the victor and turn it into a testimony. Rarely does that happen which is why there are so many heartbreaking stories and yet the deliverer of the message our mentor is basically an anomaly. **The person has acknowledge and actually want to change, it means nothing for the enabler wanting things to be different, because it's seen as an oxymoron she loves me but hates my behavior or the core me and yet she stays. He has lost his trust in her. In this specific situation when she asked him what's wrong he just says idk. It takes a different being to tackle the issues/vices/abnormalities head on, explain their story to others, then assist or mentor others so they do not have to lead the life of (heartache) (addiction) (trauma) (anxiety) (misfortune) (brokenness) (conflict ) (lies) (Dr.Jekyll Mr.Hyde) (self help). 😅😅

Why do we as women think that we can change these men, or the man you're married to, or the man you are dating? She dated him for five years, I'm sure in five years she saw the red flags and even the burning buildings, so apparently she thought she could change him. Now 20 years later the situation has escalated and has gotten worse. She has given so much of herself that she has lost her own identity and strength. As the saying goes "when a person shows you who they are believe them". I am sure within 5 years he showed his true colors but she just ignored it, but now it's amplified to the 15th power.

Went through it for 16 years. God told me to leave. I was lollygagging like Lot' wife and then God showed me what was going to be my end result if I did not leave. Open my eyes and I said no. Found me an apartment, packed up the kids, got me a moving truck and never went back. I had to get over myself because God told me, "what part of he doesn't want you, you don't understand? Go do what you got to do." Filed for that child support. This was in 1998. But it is still relevant today. It took a lot, but God had to show me how it was killing me and affecting my children. And proved to me He would take care of me and He did. Single mom, but God blessed us. I am a true and living testimony. If I would have stayed, I would have eventually taken him out. Real talk.

Amazing thanksgiving lecture. I am a young woman who was "addicted" to nasty movies for 16 years!!! Over half my life.
On my journey to stopping forever, therapy for my childhood traumas etx, prayer, exercise, organizing my space and more, I found your channel Tony, on the topic of "Situationships". I am a blessed tribe member and your channel is helping me immensely make the decision, WRITTEN down on paper months ago, that I will never watch or partake in that realm again. Four months out, I have moved cities, left all my friends who were also into that and never helped when I said I thought it was a problem for me, and the changes go on.

My daughter, Leticia Gonzalez, 26 years , she is a paralegal and pre- law student is in the hospital very sick with Covid .... I am asking for prayers,for my baby, she got married in less than a year..Tony, I know, you are a very busy man.. I also know, you have a close communication with God , your son was a premature baby so i know you understand my pain....I have two kids, Leticia is my older baby, I am asking God to give her the strength to fight Covid. I work as surgical assistant with Covid patients and i feel so guilty, even when i took all precautions to avoid getting others sick, i hurt my baby.... please pray for my daughter she is my life... and to those who feel a man is your problem , don’t waste your time and energy with those with toxic personality, enjoy life with your babies, they grownup so fast....please I am asking for prayers....

I can relate to this story. I lost 10 years in a horrible marriage. But February 2017 is when I decided to pack our two kids and leave. There were many tears , depression ect. I went through the healing process like that of grieving a death. Today at 46 the kids and I are blossoming ... it’s a beautiful thing😊

I can totally relate to being with someone that never tells me I’m beautiful, a good girlfriend, etc. being with someone that doesn’t want to tell me things but want to know everything that I’m doing. The following week while he was at work I hired a moving company to move my children and I out of an abusive and emotional environment. It has been 5 bless and golden years from being liberated. Now I am living my life like it’s golden. As Jilly from Philly would sing it. I took back my freedom. 😊

My heart hurts for my sister 🥺 rejection is hard esp when you’re codependent. But guess what? You can still heal and become whole again. That marriage is a reflection of when two broken people try to become one, but it only makes a half- not understanding that it takes two WHOLE people to make one and the marriage work. It seems as though the husband has fallen out of love. However, women love extremely hard so it’s difficult to just let go of someone that you have been with for years, someone that you still love.
It feels as if he did not ever stand in love with her, he does not choose it daily. His battle existed way before he even met his wife, it stayed, flared, and festered. She, like many of us, I do not necessarily mean you, I mean me and other women think we can talk through it and find a solution, we can love/nurture it away; Or the man will outgrow, overcome, admit it, deal/fight it everyday but choose to be the victor and turn it into a testimony. Rarely does that happen which is why there are so many heartbreaking stories and yet the deliverer of the message our mentor is basically an anomaly. **The person has acknowledge and actually want to change, it means nothing for the enabler wanting things to be different, because it's seen as an oxymoron she loves me but hates my behavior or the core me and yet she stays. He has lost his trust in her. In this specific situation when she asked him what's wrong he just says idk. It takes a different being to tackle the issues/vices/abnormalities head on, explain their story to others, then assist or mentor others so they do not have to lead the life of (heartache) (addiction) (trauma) (anxiety) (misfortune) (brokenness) (conflict ) (lies) (Dr.Jekyll Mr.Hyde) (self help). 😅😅
