Congratulations to the astronauts that left the earth yesterday . How lucky they are
Why is that? I'm perfectly safe on Earth! They are the ones facing risk in space!
Angel M u must be a kid huh?
@@nunyabusiness7017 an adult can't feel safe?
Angel M well they're going into SPACE, that's something that doesn't happen to most people...so yes they are very lucky
FAKE: tell me how a mouse can go out of space and then survive on the hottest part of the ship 6:14:59 look at it run around
I hope this provides clarity to anyone wondering why this was so historic:
1. it's the first private company to launch humans into orbit.
2. it's the first reusable rocket to launch humans into orbit
3. The reusable rocket successfully lands itself (been doing that for years)
4. This launch shows evidence that they could establish a large fleet of rockets able to transport many people simultaneously. Imagine rockets going to space in the same sense that airplanes frequently take people places. That's the vision, and it's starting to come true.
If anyone else has something more to add just add it, dont start a fight please
I hate how people are hating on this it’s literally a beacon of hope to bring humanity together it’s sad how many people think space is a waste of time I am extremely thrilled this happened though.
@@mr.alandude3938 maybe it's just this thread. Others are very happy about the launch
@@BrianHAviation I think these in particular were fresh boosters. I could be wrong though
Brian H refurbished not reused.
@@mr.alandude3938 what was the issues with the space shuttle? The space shuttle flew about 30 missions to the ISS to build it. Why was a perfectly good program, capable of re-use, capable of building the ISS, capable of bringing astronauts to and from space, why was this program scrapped and more money, both public and private sunk into SpaceX ? It literally makes zero sense. Then again how can you have gas pressure next to a vacuum?

So humbling as I recall all those Apollo launches in the 60's when I was a kid. The Shuttle was also cool, but different and they became so common I stopped paying attention. The fact that a PRIVATE company has done this is truly amazing in so many ways, it's been too long since we've been in space, kudos to everyone involved with this miracle in technology.
Yes me too 1969 when they landed on the moon. They whole world stopped.
I, too, remember the Apollo program, and watching Americans walk on the moon all those years ago. Keep in mind that every piece of hardware from the early space program through Apollo was also designed and built by private companies, thousands of them. This is just the first time that the program hasn't been controlled by NASA.
The US has never stopped being in space, they've just been hitching a ride. It's been a while since a manned launch has taken place on US soil.
Good point Titus, I guess it's nice to see us DEPART from our soil!

Space X even has a menu on their website where you can order an orbital insertion like you can order a hamburger and fries. Things have changed dramatically. There are no thousands of employees and massive infrastructure run by NASA. Remember all of the tax cuts we wanted? LOL. NASA's budget had been chopped so badly because we had to pay for the tax cuts. This is a 100% achievement of American capitalism and true grit by a private American company. So cool!!
Yep saw from Dublin Ireland orbiting at 10:15pm local time
The guy says “just passed Mach one ... 1500 miles per hour” within seconds you say “17000 miles per hour”.... ?? Did the company only give you 3 talking points for whole space launch?
Finally, some good news
Why don't let people see the exact moment when that part of the dragon came to that platform..?
Marvin Mejia it was faked! The earth is flat anyway.
Shane Kral you must be one of those people who love pineapple on their pizza 🤢🤮
Shane Kral sometimes I wish it was flat so we could boot you idiots off the planet 🤝
Unbelievable how over sensitive some of you guys are. Lighten up Einstein.
Michael MPE which one? Hot, Wealthy, Smokin Girlfriend, Not a Problem in the a World. Yeah, not that guy. Live a little and try to have a Laugh. Sorry I offended you and imitated “One of Those People”
yet people with turbo civic's claim their acceleration is "superior"
Ok?
Bruh
@Adelaide Trinity it was a joke lol sorry if yall got offended🤣
Actually human carrying rockets dont hit much acceleration as it could make them pass out. An average car accident has more acceleration than the max of a manned rocket launch
It must be really thrilling yet scary at the same time, congrats SpaceX and NASA 👏👏👏
@barefoot arizonasorry I don't get your comment (._.)
