    What factors do you consider when choosing the frequency?

    • @epiloglaser
      @epiloglaser  4 місяці тому +1

      Frequency plays a crucial role in achieving clean and precise cuts across various materials when cutting with your Epilog Laser machine. In the case of wood, in order to minimize the charring on the cut edge we recommend a lower frequency to achieve less burning/charring, but thicker and more dense the woods may require a bit high frequency to achieve a clean cut in one pass. When cutting materials like acrylic, plexi, and sign plastic, we recommend higher frequencies to achieve a clean polished edge that requires no or very little clean up.

    Are you using an air assist?
    I like your design, but too much smoke and burn exposed.

    How do you adjust the kerf with other Thickness material? To fit everything? I use the epilog fusion maker. Thanks.

      It will depend on the overall thickness of the material and vary with every material and the thickness with which you're working. There won't be a one solution fits all materials option here. If you find that the kerf is too thick after a normal one pass cut, you can start with settings adjustments, but you'll most likely need to adjust the artwork very slightly to achieve a smaller kerf.
