Yup, I noticed that too :D I bought mine brand spanking new way back in 2016, all that time I thought I was speeding, then I tested it with a GPS recorded, lo and behold :D I had been riding like a grandma all this time :D thought everyone was trying to run me over, all this time I was being too slow :D
You should ride it like a tuned instrument. It's not a KTM. You're "really good at power wheelies!" like you say. I hope yours makes 20k before it bites back.

Stock speedometer is not very accurate - should probably check it against a GPS device. Scenery very pretty - what part of Maryland are you riding in?

Have you experienced any bogging near idle when hitting the throttle?
Only a little bit when it’s warming up I’ve noticed, you can get ride of it completely with a aftermarket power commander.

does removing the baffle in the exhaust cause any issues or need a remap ?
I’m running the stock tune with it removed and it runs strong so I would say no. but your gonna get more power with a remap

I bought my 2020 wr250r bran new and one you need know is the speedometer reads 10mph fast so when it say 87 you actually going 77mph

@@mannyechaluce3814 if you still have your wr250r the 12oclock labs speed drd will fix it.. also keep in mind the miles add faster too

Yamaha stopped making them in America In 2020. if you look it up on google says the same thing.

Iv gotten mine up to 100mph but the speedometer on these aren’t right so I was probably going 90 95 max
