The plates that went with them were LTC swimmer cut ones, coincidentally also called the Less Than Overt plates. The carrier was a MIL contract only item. Saber Solutions sold the matching plates at one point 😉
Originaly picked up a set of the LTO spear plates since they seemed novel, unfortunately they didnt perform as rumored, so I went ahead and got one of these carriers, and they are my secondary now.
@@EODFish I want to hear your thoughts on them and how they compare to an Axl equinox setup, especially for those of us who have the original spc cummerbund but want tubes
@@EODFish that was my experience, yes. Even minimal padding on the shoulders would have helped a ton, but it's just velcro straps. There also isn't a ton of adjustment either. Left my whole upper back exposed, which felt not very rock and roll. Outside of those issues, anything else I have from First Spear has been absolutely solid.

Username checks out.
A buddy of mine uses this to conceal plates on his security shifts. Works really well for that purpose.

Love the video, great content as always.
Should be sized for an LTC Swimmer M (9.92x11.6x0.9ish)
If they made this in RG I’d be sold
Great stuff as usual. This begs the question: who makes a minimalist cummerbund that can accommodate level IIIA panels?
Velocity Systems, luckily
I run this green with an H harness that holds all my stuff. Been doing this for years and its the way !!! Try it before you knock it
Just ordered one from FS, it runs $117 with free 3 day shipping
Do you plan to make a video for the A&A SPC tubes adapters?
I missed that they exist

There's a newer version of this available called the Slick. It works great, but definitely not made for extended wear.
Why do you say it isn’t meant for extended wear? Purely comfort driven?

What size is the plate carrier/plates?
Medium swimmer I think
The decepter and uc plates are even more low profile.
*Buys an Overt carrier*
*completely overloads it with kit*
I feel like I have seen that recently but I can’t put my finger on it.
@@EODFish well but the slickster are way cheaper than normal carriers. Yea sure thoose adapters for it to work are like 300$ on top of it but aye
Cant tell if this is an april fools video
Why would it be?
