I have the xd mod 2 in both 3.3" and 4", I bought my wife a xde all in 9mm. All great pistols but the funny thing is I like the trigger better on hers, being DA/SA hammer fired it's much lighter than my striker fired guns. If not for the difference in capacity I'd carry the xde over my xd's.
Great video!! When I saw this video it had me thinking twice about which one of these firearms would be my first. After trying them all out I noticed that the Smith&Wesson M&P was the right one for me. Thanks for posting videos like these!!
Good video. I have shot the Springfield XD Mod2, and I think it has one of the most comfortable grips out of all the polymer handguns I've shot. Definitely the most among the 3 here. I own a Glock 19 gen4, and it is what it is. I carry it with the medium beavertail backstrap on it. I l really like the new M&P 2.0 grip too. More aggressive texture than the first generatiion M&P's. I like the grip angle of the M&P. I pick it up and it points naturally.
All three are good handguns with no fatal flaws. I prefer the XD though, as the whole package works well for me. I also find that the SA 2.0 Service model fits my FN holsters. I sold my S&W 2.0. It was a nice Pistol, but not significantly better than my V1.The only Glocks I can tolerate are the baby Glocks. The others feel like I’m grabbing a square handrail (no hate here, just not for me).
@@gutadin5 I can only compare to Glock and XD mod 2, but I prefer the Springfield. It's a smooth trigger that breaks late, but out of the box it's better than Glock

This helps cut down on forwarding and rewinding if you didn't remember the exact measurements/ points. The only problem was the video out of focus at key moment when you need to see what you're talking about.
Q.C. Phil thanks for watching and thanks for your feedback! I had just switched over to a new camera around the time I filmed this. The auto-focus is alittle strange and took some getting use to. Current videos are better. Thanks again for watching!
These comparison videos are great for people to learn about different models side by side. I actually have all three but slight differences, XD9 Mod2 with threaded barrel and suppressor sights, M&P 2.0 and G17 Gen3. XD is the most accurate. M&P is best looking and has best trigger pull. G17 is, well, a Glock. Shoots as well as the M&P but switching between pistols throws the Glock off target for quick draw/point and shoot. Wouldn't hesitate to depend on any of the three. If I had to choose only one it would be the M&P but luckily I don't.
Very through review. I'm very impressed with your above board, in depth presentation. jeff squires True. The front rails locking block is so much stronger than what Glock uses that the Mod2 can function just fine if it had no rear rails at all. The old Ruger P95 had ALL polymer rails and you couldn't wear one of them out. The new FN pistol also has rear poly rails.

WholesaleTurbos I think it has to do with the ergonomic grip. I also shoot my XD MOD II 45 subcompact better than even my 9mm guns, which includes my Glock 19.
The great grip is partly responsible but the Mod2 also weighs more than about any other gun in its respective segment. Weight makes guns more shootable but less enjoyable to tote for long periods of time.
The higher bore axis equates to more weight and less recoil. As stated by someone else it can get heavy after carrying for a long time. It's definitely important to get the proper belt and holster to help make carrying the XD all day. I personally carry the XD mod 2 subcompact in 9mm over my shield. Looking to get the XDM compact in the near future.

Brandon M no need for metal rear rail. Notice how much more beefier the front rail is compared to the others. Gloks basically just got thin metal tabs for rails
Two biggest negatives are in the claim the M&P 2.0 pistol is ambidextrous. For sure it is not. The magazine release is either left or right. Not both. And it has to be stripped down to switch. But the bigger issue is the slide release. There is one there for the left thumb but it is unusable. Takes a hammer to work it. Sad for such a good gun otherwise.
Everyone forgets/ignores the XD MUZZLE PROTECTOR, which keeps the slide in battery when pressed against the back of a suspect. Please don't skip this feature anymore. ALSO the Glock polygon rifling should not be used with cast-lead bullets many hand loaders love.
Good video only thing is the info on the M&P isn't completely accurate. He calls many of the M&P parts steel and they are stainless steel which is a huge difference.
XD Mod2 service…accurate, reliable, high capacity, easy to shoot, simple to maintain, extra safe to carry without being fussy. Keep trying to beat this handgun for all-around utility and value and can’t do it.
This video editing is so confusing when comparing three guns, the camera is fixed on one gun while he is talking about another gun, then he talks about the third gun, but the camera is fixed on the first one.

I think it is like Glock 45.... Big frame , a bit small slide !!!!! I think it is good for conceal and duty too.... Xd or vp9 or glock 17 ( and 45 ) ? I think glock 19 is smaller than xd.... So why do you compare these guns and not glock 17

Can you compare the M&P 2.0 c against the sig P320c please
Excellent review!!
Thanks for watching!
2.0 for me
These guns were my top 3 contending polymer striker fire weapons, and i ended up choosing the M&P 2.0…
Very well done, thank you.
Excellent video.
I have the xd9/subcompact mod2 grip zone it my favorite I carry it over my M&p 9 and fn503
I’ll take the M&P here
I like the xd9 subcompact I actually only like Springfield sub compact compact and ar15 saint victor and edge I just don’t see any need for a hand guard safety on a large gun
Should I get the Sig XL or the Springfield XDe????
XD would be my choice. I've heard mixed reviews of the Sig 365 XL.
Sig.
what’s the material of the trigger on the M&P?
So is the rear rail on the XD metal now? I know the earlier ones were plastic
Brandon M no, they are still polymer
Brandon M no need for metal rear rail. Notice how much more beefier the front rail is compared to the others. Gloks basically just got thin metal tabs for rails
slurpyman20 yeah, it works fine haven’t had an issue with it
Prices !!!
thanks for sharing an ya time . ATB too you an ya staff .
Thanks for watching!
Gen 4 19 for me the other 2 a very close second
thank you for the information
I do like the factory U dot sights on a Glock-i know many people do not
I do too easy to pick up sights and they serve the purpose very well. I own Glocks and m&p. I prefer the Glock don't need the extra crap
Stanley Post lead bullets are shit anyways.
muzzle protector????
@@CitizenSoldier500 they chopped out and no longer use polygonal rifling
yep 5 gens of glocks and still not caught up with the 1st xd yet
muzzle protector doesn't exist on xd.i have several
Good video only thing is the info on the M&P isn't completely accurate. He calls many of the M&P parts steel and they are stainless steel which is a huge difference.
Which XD Mod 2 Is Better 40 S&W Or 9mm And Why🤔
9mm. Way less recoil and more controllable imho. I own it in 9mm and own a XDM 3.8 in 9mm. Love them both. Best firearms on the market imho.
9mm is better. I have XD Mod.2 Service Model in 9mm. I personally enjoy 9mm better than the .40.
Why did they have to put "Grip Zone" on the grip of the Mod2 XD? It's ridiculous and makes the gun look ridiculous, like a toy.
They stopped after everyone complained.
Smith compact would have been more like the others
Both my Glocks came with just two mags,a lock and one small ass brush
XD Mod2 service…accurate, reliable, high capacity, easy to shoot, simple to maintain, extra safe to carry without being fussy. Keep trying to beat this handgun for all-around utility and value and can’t do it.
that "GRIP ZONE" indicator is super cheesy..
Yes it is! I'm glad they decided to remove that by the time I got mine
I think the glock 17 is closer to the m&p full size same capacity and similar in size
very good job...
Thanks, I appreciate it!
I would not have a glock
Really? "Hi I'm reviewing this but I don't know how many rounds the mag holds."
It's been 4 years, have you learned? (like RTFM)
Hate the grip. That sharp grip will eat you up when carrying IWB
This video editing is so confusing when comparing three guns, the camera is fixed on one gun while he is talking about another gun, then he talks about the third gun, but the camera is fixed on the first one.
XD All dat long!!
The Honda Civic vs
Toyota Camry vs
Ford Fusion.
And there's the 1911 guy.
Which one is the Ford? LOL
@@bruhdamartinasty3636
Any of them. haha
No Glocks
Camera positioning is not the greatest. Those extreme close ups, it was impossible to see what part of the handgun was being talked about.
I don't think the Glock 19 is offered in,10mm, you did not state a winner,I own all 3 of these great guns, for all around use,the Smith, going to a gun fight,? Glock 19.
I think it is like Glock 45.... Big frame , a bit small slide !!!!! I think it is good for conceal and duty too....
Xd or vp9 or glock 17 ( and 45 ) ?
I think glock 19 is smaller than xd.... So why do you compare these guns and not glock 17
XD mod 2 harika bir silah ama isim ve marla olarak diğer 2 silahın gölgesinde kalacaklar
