I've just recently started watching your channel and also had a LOVE for, and collected beautiful handbags..All it took was a break in that resulted in me losing all of my collections. And even with insurance a lot of your bags just can't be replaced. I've tried to start collecting again but it never feels the same!
Beautiful collection. I had 17 LV's, but gave two bags to my oldest daughter and one bag to my granddaughter, all mine are handbags and one mono cles. I'm happy and satisfied with my collection and don't envision adding any more. With the constant price increases, nowadays, preloved is the way to go. All but three of mine were bought new, and if I were adding to my collection now, I'd definitely go to the preloved market. Your bags are lovely and I can tell that you enjoy them very much!
Thank you. That's so nice of you to give your bags to family. :) I agree that preloved is the way to go. Like I said, there are a few pieces I buy in the store because it makes more financial sense but most I purchase preloved.

Hi, I love your videos - they are very informative! I learned about Tradesy through your channel, and decided to sell a piece through their platform. After selling through Tradesy, I don't know if I would recommend it. They hold onto the seller's money for over 3 weeks after delivery to the customer, then it takes over a week to get funds transferred. I sold my bag over a month ago, and still have not gotten paid yet! Just putting this out there in case any other of your subbies decide to sell through Tradesy!

Gorgeous! Recently I had my purse collection stolen. I was left with three bags so I gave my daughter one, my granddaughter another and kept the last one. Other things were taken as well but for a woman, her handbags and jewelry are very personal.

I really regret that now because at the time I think the Cerise Speedy was around 800$ but now that it's limited edition and so hard to find, the prices are way over 1,100$ and I just can't bring myself to pay that especially when the condition is not always that great. I just keep on the lookout and hopefully one day I will find a beautiful Cerise bag in great condition for a decent price!!☺️But I love your coin purse and I think I'll start looking for a SLG or bandeau in that print.. Either way I'd be happy!

Thank you. I think the TIvoli is beautiful. I have a fake one that I purchased from a street vendor before I was buying the authentic bags. I only carried it a few times and haven't carried it since I bought my first LV. Though beautiful, I wish it had a detachable shoulder strap and I found the zipper cumbersome to use one-handed (like if the bag is on your arm at checkout and you want to zip with the other hand). The tabs at the base of the handles start to curl over time, which I don't like. Overall I think it's a beautiful bag, though.

I love your collection! DE print has become my favorite. My first bag was the delightful but I sold it because I hated the strap. I purchased the marignan instead and use it more often. Have you done a review on the Turenne? I may want to add a pallas to my collection but the Turenne has a similar structure. Which one would you pick?
I'm carrying my Delightful today but I only ever use it now with the longer strap from my Noe. I find it so much more user friendly like that. The Marignan is beautiful. I have several videos on the Turenne. I haven't looked at the Pallas in person but from photos it looks like the Turenne is larger. Personally, I prefer the look of the Turenne over the Pallas but I know a lot of people love their Pallas bags. The Pallas looks more carefree since it doesn't have the pleats like the Turenne but I do have the shoulder strap from the Pallas and find it too short. I prefer the crossbody strap from the Turenne (I usually carry it on my shoulder rather than crossbody) and find that it tends to stay on my shoulder better than bags with a shorter strap.
The Vintage 30 Speedy's canvas is more crisp versus these newer Speedy's. For some reason, the canvas seems much lighter. Love the video!

That's a good idea. I don't usually pair light pinks with black but I should reconsider that.

Yes, I would and have considered the Petite Noe. I haven't jumped on it yet because I feel it would be a bit redundant in my collection but I do usually prefer the size of my little epi Noe over my Noe Gm so I can see adding it eventually. There are other pieces I'll probably want to get first, though.

All my babies are in my favourite, the monogram print. I’m thinking about buying the round coin purse from Louis Vuitton as it’s CHEAPER to buy it NEW! Go figure! 🤣 But I have a problem. The zip tab came off and I accidentally spoilt one of the vachetta tabs at the end of my bag (got it water before I conditioned it!) I’ve temporarily glued the zip tab on and wrapped it in surgical tape (coloured it with gold uni paint marker).
I’m not keen on going into a LV store for the repair (gulp!!!)
I live in London. The Bond Street store off Oxford Street, is where all the rich Japanese go who make multiple purchases. I’m thinking maybe about the store in Selfridges? Either way, I’m still............. procrastinating!
I’ll end on a positive. I was Xmas shopping and popped into the ‘Russell & Bromley’ store on Oxford Street. I walk with an elbow crutch and I use a little shopping trolley whilst shopping. I was looking at a £325 ($415) tan leather bag. The SA that approached me from afar, was a bit standoffish, UNTIL! I took out my collection and one-by-one, started placing them in the bag (left the speedy at home). Her voice softened as she drew closer to me, whilst assisting me with arranging the items. The bag wasn’t bid enough, so she rushed over the sales area and brought back a similar bag which was bigger. I declined it, as I preferred the first bag and I hobbled out with a smug smile on my face 🤗

Don't worry about taking the bag in for repair. I took my very vintage and beat up preloved Speedy 35 in to have the zip tab replaced and they did it on the spot for $30. They were very nice and didn't check records to see if the bag was in my purchase history.

The only residual side affect is, I can fall asleep on a pen head! Anytime or anywhere 😀

Great video - I wish I had your collection. Have you thought of getting the gold re-plated on your bag charm? Some jewellers will do this or you can get a kits (there are ‘brush’ on and ‘soaking’ ones depending on the item). I have not done this but I have seen some UA-cam vids. It could be an interesting experiment.

Hi Autumn, I noticed you don’t have any Alma’s is there a reason for that? What are you planning on purchasing this year?
I'll be posting my 2019 wish list at some point in the next few weeks. I had an Alma style bag a while back and found that the shape didn't work for me. I tended to stuff too much in it and the zipper and dome were misshapen when I carried it. I love the look of the Alma but it's not the right bag for me.

Gorgeous collection Autumn! I love the round coin purse but am not sure what I would do with it. Do you ever use it for coins or to hold anything? I think I've seen you use it as a purse charm.
I haven't really used it other than as a bag charm. I've never purchased the round coin because I don't think it would be functional for me. I don't usually carry cash and I especially avoid coins because of the extra weight of them. I got the cerises round coin because I wanted a piece from that collection and I liked that I could use it as a bag charm. I've seen videos where people talk about different ways they use the round coin (mostly for earbuds) but I imagine it would roll around in my bag and the vachetta trim would get scuffed and I'd just be annoyed by it.

Those are all great pieces. I hope you can find the pochettes. I find the pochette accessories much more functional than the mini pochette. I think the Alma BB in DE is beautiful but the Alma style doesn't work for me, personally.

Hi Autumn, gorgeous collection! question, do you use your Eva Clutch often? i have the exact same one and I was thinking about replacing it with the Croisette. By the way, do you like the Croisette?
I don't use the Eva very often because I tend to use larger bags but it has it's place in my collection for when I need a smaller bag. Sometimes I've taken it to the symphony or to walk the dogs (when I just need keys and my phone), or to the store when my back hurts and I can't carry a heavier bag. I haven't looked at the Croisette in person (I've seen it but haven't handled it). I think it's beautiful and I'd definitely consider it if I was on the market for something of that style. It looks quite a bit roomier than the Eva but the Eva is also more roomy than it looks. I think either bag would be a great choice.

Just wondering , would you say your Louis collection is pretty much set and you have what you like ? Are there stuff your eyeing to add to your collection or time to move to other designers . I think you should explore the Hermès Evelyne bag or Chanel boy bag ?
It's mostly set. I'm very happy with my LV collection at the moment. There are quite a few other pieces I'd still like to have but haven't been willing to spend the money on yet, so we'll see. I'm gathering a list for an upcoming wish list video and it's mostly LV so far. I have started to stray from LV and explore other designers. Hermes and Chanel would be great but most everything there is out of my price range for now. I like the Evelyne but I wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost. With Chanel I prefer the classic flap to the the Boy and I'd only be interested in a vintage bag, preferably with real gold hardware. I'll have to save up quite a while for that but I've been enjoying my Chanel "inspired" bags so much that I might just do it.

It’s interesting you had wrinkling on your bandeau, I had the LV handle me bandeau in Bordeaux and it was a permanently wrinkled mess, I just assumed they were all that way so I sold it and swore I wouldn’t get another because if that. Maybe I’ll try the trucks bandeau then if they’re ok
I have no idea why this is the only one of mine that wrinkled. I use the brown Confidential bandeau as a drawstring in my epi Noe. If anything would wrinkle it, that would...but it doesn't.

I just watched Mel in Melbourne unbox a Hermès Kelly mini clutch in rose she took a gold Hermès necklace and use that as a strap for this bag. Then she put a twilly on a Hermès tote and use that as a long strap. I guess whatever works. Thanks for sharing your LV collection
Thank you. I use the Trevi strap on my Speedy 30 DE and the Noe vachetta strap on my Speedy 25 DA and Speedy 35 monogram. I have a third party leopard strap that I sometimes use on my epi Noe. I think that's it.
I've rolled up my Gucci safari scarf and used it as a strap on my Noe GM before. It worked okay but I was nervous the whole time about damaging the scarf.
I still think that the lining in the Trevi; needs to be redone. It's too small for the inside. So the leather isn't being moulded into shape. Love your collection Autumn.

Why do you buy the same piece in 3 different prints. Seems to be a waste of money.
The different prints go with different outfits. For me the azur is for light colored outfits, the ebene is for dark outfits, and the monogram is for more casual looks. I know the differences seem subtle, especially between the two brown bags, but it makes a difference to me. I've only done this with the Neverfull and Speedy bags which I find to be the most useful and utilitarian bags so it makes sense to me to have more than one in different prints. I'll also note that my three Speedy bags are in three different sizes. ;)
Not a big fan of Neverfulls, the handles can't support the size & weight of its capacity esp in real time usage. Got 2 diff ones & both handles snapped. It's impractical to have it repaired in LV so I went to a reputable leather repair w/c is still expensive but way cheaper, just to find out that they too receive many Neverfull strap repairs. Another is the the open tote style that is not secure if you have valuables inside. Not sure WHY many ppl are crazy about it, the trend can't justify the durability of this bag other than the space & only light stuff in it.

The original size of Speedy bag was size 30. Speedy 25 was made at the request of Audrey Hepburn.
I thought they didn't make the Speedy until Audrey requested the Keepall in a size 25. I've heard the 25 was the original size because of that. But I just looked it up and info on Yoogi's Closet confirms what you're saying. Interesting.

Autumn a friend of mine was sold a very expensive fake from The Real Real. Chanel verified it was a fake when she took it to the Chanel boutique. The Real Real isn’t admitting they sold a fake so now there will be legal action taken. I don’t think I will buy anything from The Real Real. I’ve had great luck on Tradesy & Yoogi’s Closet. I’ve had original tags & receipts provided for items I purchased. I know Chanel is suing The Real Real & my friends situation added fuel to the fire. What are your thoughts?

The fake luggage tag I bought was from TRR but they allowed me to return it (even though it was past the return window) and issued a full refund. They never admitted it was fake. I have purchased more from them than any other reseller and I'm confident that all my other pieces are authentic. I would definitely purchase from them again. I've heard of fakes being sold by other resellers, too. We all just have to be vigilant.
Autumn Beckman I hope my friend gets refunded soon. One of the main reasons I don’t buy much from them is high sales tax. I don’t get charged sales tax with Tradesey & Yoogis Closet. It will be interesting to see the outcome of the lawsuit with Chanel.

Marie Li well, no...that’s not what she said and couldn’t be true either. Neither LV stores nor Chanel stores will Authenticate bags.....or they’re not supposed to because they aren’t trained to do so.

How do you buy so much Louis Vuitton and pay your rent or mortgage on a teacher's salary? A lot of teachers that I know in Chicago can't even afford rent. They are living in their cars. Seems suspicious.
I'll choose not to take it personally that you're calling me suspicious. ;) I can't speak to your friends' situations because I don't know their financial obligations but I looked up the average teacher salary in Houston vs Chicago (your city's is slightly higher) and the average rent (yours is a few hundred higher) so I'd say we're somewhat comparable...on average. On my salary I'm able to pay rent in a nice neighborhood, utilities, health insurance, put a nice sum toward retirement each month, groceries, gas (my commute is atypical...only 10 minutes), make hefty student loan payments (equal to a car payment), and still have some left to play with. I do not have car payments nor do I have children (a large expense for most people). There are other smaller expenses I don't have as well (like I don't spend much on clothes) and when I buy LV pieces I usually buy them preloved, find excellent deals, and take advantage of Fashionphile's layaway program or finance through reasonable credit options like Affirm where interest is very low and loans are paid off in a year.
