Nice one Jay. A little off topic but I watched your window fitting video and was really impressed. This is something I want to tackle in the coming months. You used a nibbler, did you get a good finish, was there much filing down to do, much mess etc. your nibbler, was there a limit on how thick the metal was? I’m looking at getting either a nibbler or shears, can’t decide mate…. Any advice would be appreciated 👍
Hey Colin. To be honest I don’t have a sheer but if I did it again I would use the nibbler again to be honest. Mine did have a max thickness to nibble but I can’t remember what it was. Maybe 2mm. I didn’t have to file much at all. I just went slow with it and let the tool do the work
