Brad, I got my new frame like the one in your video. Just did my first cap. I did a digitized logo. Embroidery is good, but not pleased with positioning. It is 1-1/8" from the brim and my Array would not let me get it any closer. Is this because I have an Array 6 needle and not the Venture 10 needle? Could I possibly have hooped it better? It looked like to me that I had it right in the seam. I look forward to your reply. You've already been a great help.

@@ncee1372 Hello ... I just saw your question but to answer it .... "YES!" I love it!!!!! It seriously is as easy as Brad makes it look #noSTRUGGLES and well worth the money!
You do such a wonderful job with your videos! There's such a video variety of hats, but on your hat towards the end of your video, where you had the letter "A" on the camera - showing how much closer it could embroider as compared to the original cap frame - how much closer to the brim were you able to embroider? With my wide cap frame, the closest I can get to the brim is approximately 0.75 of an inch. With this new hat hoop, are we able to embroider about a quarter-of-an-inch away from the brim? (Again, I know all hats are different...just trying to justify upgrading...) Again, thanks for the wonderful videos. Any additional information would be greatly, greatly appreciated!
Me again. Doing hats for a company. Put on frame just as I did my last ones. The only differences: 1) Last time I used cheap Walmart hats; now I have nice Richardson hats. 2) I am using a variegated thread. Not even a minute into stitch. I have so much tangles thread under cap and it's stuck. This happened twice. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Great video. I bought one from a Baby Lock retailer when I bought my 6-needle machine. However, my machine keeps giving me an error that the frame won't work. Any ideas? It is not exactly like yours. It is called a wide brim hat frame. Thanks.
The wide cap frame is not, and has never been compatible with any 6 needle. Your dealer should have known that before selling it to you, I hope they are honest and willing to take it back or trade it for one that works for your machine.
Just installed and is there supposed to be loose fit when embroidering (space between hat and needle plater area)? My under-bobbin thread started coming through and thread has been breaking. Stitching looks and sloppy. Any help is appreciated, newbie..
So I just got my new hat hoop. I'm really struggling with hooping the hat with it. It doesn't seem to be that easy. Is this hat hoop only for structured hats? It seems like it puckers the material with an unstructured hat. Is that band supposed to be on the brim next to the seam or right on the seam. It keeps slipping off when I put it on the seam. I was hoping for a better experience. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I'm not using a flat brim hat.
You didn’t show box cover?? Is this the Wide Cap Frame Set ENCFS -or- flat brim? I’ve read through the comments ~ did not find the exact answer. I have the Babylock Venture. TIA.

getting ready to put this driver on my venture and the instructions are calling for adjustments for the first time involving a black rubber mat? can you shed some light on this? don't want to ruin my machine on the first hat.
Its not hard to do. Just stick the rubber thing under the hoop, loosen the 4 big screws with the t handle screwdriver, and pull down on the driver while re-tightening the screws, them remove the rubber part and job done. Or dont bother, because half the time i forget to do it when setting up a machine for the first time and it doesn't seem to make a difference lol
does the hoop rotate at all, I need to embroider a 1" round logo on the front side of a structured trucker hat, about 1/2" or so over from the mesh, as close to the brim as I can get it.
Can you tell me if using this hat hoop and getting closer to the brim what is the max height of the design since you are able to get lower. I have the babylock enterprise.
@@EllicottCitySewVac I figured it out. I was putting the piece that goes on the hat in the wrong place. The first hat I did was crooked and way too high because I put the piece above the brim rather than below. Now I'm excited to get started on hats!! Thanks for all your help.
