If the town don't believe him and kill him, once they see he was the undercover they'll know he was telling the truth. If mafia find out who undercover cop is then is mafia allowed to kill him? I think that role is too complicated. A good role for mafia that isn't too strong is a janitor. They can make it so whoever dies from a mafia kill doesn't show their role.

You guys must be relatively new to this game. You're not supposed to blatantly point out who's who or say who you are. It defeats the whole purpose of the game. Its a game of SECRET roles that no one knows who eachother are unless they are the character themselves or if they are cop and they check the players. Its like setting a surprise birthday party then telling the person ahead of time "hey we're at your house get ready for a surprise" it's not a surprise anymore

Vigilante(town): has 3 bullets and can shoot anyone they want (except Night 1 because that’s just random shooting) but if they shoot a town member, they will die the next morning. Executioner: neither maf nor town and wins by hanging a target that is specified before the game starts so it can be on the card whom they have to influence the town to hang. Mayor(town): just a normal town member but once he shows his card (this is to reveal he is mayor) his votes count as 3 BUT he cannot be healed (this is the only role in Town of Salem that legitimately reveals their role) this role is best if its 1 maf v 1 town because town instantly votes mafia off Survivor: neither mafia nor town but survives to win the game and has 3 bullet vests (of which they can use any night) to protect from kill (a lot of mafia roles can claim survivor)

Make a "LAWYER" role. After Mafia kill other role, lawyer will choose either one of the Mafia to save them ONCE only. Say if Joe (lawyer) save Bart (Mafia) & Steve as a (Cop) check on Bart he will appear as a civilian for ONCE only. And after next round Steve can RECHECK Bart just to conform he's not a Mafia which is now he is the obvious Mafia and the lawyer can't help Bart anymore.
**Add the Sniper Role. The only thing the sniper does is that whenever they die they can choose to take one person with them. Let's say Geo is sniper and she's either voted off or killed by mafia and whenever she reveals her role as sniper she must pick one person to take down with her as well. Let's say she picks Bart, well he will die the same round as her and he must also reveal his role, them being a civilian and or a mafia. This showing that the sniper could help the town by dying and taking out a mafia and or help the mafia and take out a cop, nurse, etc... This is a great twist to the game of mafia, and allows for a little bit more of some uncontrollable problems for the town to overcome.**

Made man needs to save his ability for under cover cop. That way if undercover cop reveals, made man turns him to the now loosing team. These two rolls together add a lot of depth.
