Finally someone who sees the flaw in Alpha kills not being fast leveling! The last two tipps really are a gamechanger imo - Never thought about share EXP while riding a dino :D Your channel truely deserves more love than it got so far

You’re probably going to grow on UA-cam very quickly based on your quality vids, I see Ark channels all the time with 100k subs but are absolutely horrible, so you are going to skyrocket
A better way to level killing babies is to claim, cryopod, throw out, cryo again, then throw out so it has cryo sickness, then unclaim. Then you will be able to one shot with anything and get mad xp
I have found out a pretty op glitch. If you have a dino for example on the island you go to a obelisk and tranfer it to for example fjordur. then from fjordur you transfer it back to the island but you have to do it in a cryopod. The. You throw out the dino and it has gained like 60 levels
It works per much only in singleplayer and the way it works exactly is depending on the difference in the amount of days you played on certain maps. For example. If you have 3rd day on fjordur and you will hatch the babies there and let them grow, then if you transfer them to let’s say island where you’re on 150th day the dino will get passive xp for 147 days. Hope that makes sense

Needless to say I'm a little tired of trying to find out what it is and how to get it while finding nothing but people using it and saying nothing about it.
I forgot to mention it in the video you need to change your settings to either friendly fire on or PvP. Friendly fire is on by default on singleplayer but you could have change it and that’s why it doesn’t work
Yes unfortunately on some servers it’s not possible to do that. I believe those are friendly fire settings but I might be wrong as technically not claimed baby is not a “friendly”. Sorry about that

Unfortunately yes but you can also unlock it on ragnarok or lost island or fjordur or exctinction. All you gotta do is upload your character to obelisk change the map, download your character, unlock engrams, then upload your character again at the obelisk and go back to your map. The easiest map to do it on will be exctinction because if you spawn anywhere in the middle of the map there is tons of terminals that act like obelisks at this map. Hope that helps

Just a quick question, how did that trex you said was a new rex at lol 225? Like what happens if I had like a level 50 rex and tried that would it still work?
By new Rex I meant it was just tamed max level Rex which is 150 but after taming becomes level 225. And yes it will work on any level but as I mentioned in the video if your dino isn’t strong enough to survive all 5 waves keep an eye on its health to know when to retreat. I’m not sure on what settings you’re playing like what is the max level of wild dinos on your server but lvl 50 Rex is pretty low so I would go for a blue drop first and level it up a little there before attempting higher difficulty drops. Hope that answered your question ;)
Forgive me if this is too noob a question, im still new and playing single player but soon me and some friends get a dedicated The grinder, im assuming this works the same for other benches/sstations, such as the forge, smithy table or moerar and pestle? (i havent made a grinder yet) If so i can click it ot make hundreds of things (just spam E and it cues up 100s of recipes to make), THEN i close the crafting menu and jump on my dino and we gain xp? So for example, i want to make 500 tranquilisers, i spam E until it reaches the limit based on my spoiled meat and berry available, i close menu and jump on my Stego or Trike
Yes it does work with other stations however the grinder is just the most efficient because not only is the fastest but it also uses the easiest to get materials like wood and stone. But as you said you can use other stations too

Just remember there is a distance limit for it to work. I don’t remember how far is too far but best way to check it is by keeping an eye on your xp bar

I honestly don’t know but what I would do in your case I would go main options menu and reset everything to default settings and see if that helps. There is a button there to reset everything to default
If you have 2 people one person can use a industrial grinder and and somebody ride the dino and the xp gets shared and the dino that's being ridden levels Edit: didn't realize this was later sorry
The additional xp is just from being in proximity of the tribe member but yes you will get additional XP although very small amount comparing to what you get from grinding
they are not very good unfortunately they only give 60 base xp comparing to 480 base xp on regular wyverns at level 1 of course. Just to compare Rex gives you 120 base xp
Depends which method you refer to. If you refer to the last method then yes. But if you breed an army of rexes for example you need to level them all up and that’s the fastest way. Beside you only need one couple of high level dino. Once you have that you can level any other dino you want. And don’t confuse high level with levelling, no matter what level your dino is when you tame it/breed it you still have over 70 levels to go ;)
Couldn’t you just put a ton of materials into a grinder, start it, then run and jump on your Dino to get some of the experience without have a second player?
No no. It’s base experience and then it gets multiplied by levels with some multipliers as well. The point is you supposed to compare just the base experience because it’s the most accurate way of comparing. The formula for exact amount of experience gain for certain dino is complicated but to determine which dino gives you more Xp all you need is base xp value. Hope that was understandable :)
I’m not sure but I think that when you’re in game and hit the start button you should have a list with all the server settings. I believe that settings effecting the ability of killing unclaimed dinos is either PvP or friendly fire
They give one of the lowest xp in the game for some reason. They are on pair with the pachy, oviraptor, carbonemys etc. Don’t ask my why I have no idea 🤷♂️
Pretty sure you would. What if your rex army dies and you need a new one. You hatch 18 rexes but you still need to level them up before you go for bosses

@@explorationofgames I kind of feel like I'm going in circles learning to play Ark. I was looking at one for cave exploration. "Here's how to do it the easy way, I'll take my level 100+ raptor, and" okay, so I find a leveling guide. "Leveling is easy, you take your lvl 250 Spinos, and" Gah.
Well wast majority of tutorials on ark will apply to “standard” settings, which means max level of dinos is set at level 150. If that’s not how you play I would really recommend you to change it to 150 it’s way more enjoyable. Therefore having level 200+ dinos is very easy because if you tame 150 level of dino with the correct food you will get level 220-225 depending on the food you used. And then you can easily follow most of the tutorials on UA-cam. I hope that helps ;)
When you playing ps4 singleplayer just Go in splitscreen then you can Level your dinos up With the grinder 😎

I went to the swamps on the island and there was about 8 alpha raptors. Gained nearly 25 levels for my argy. Don't forget to check their bags !!
But what happens when you need to level 3 dinos. Not enough alphas

For lower levels hen you go off put a cryopotted dino in a hinden mortar and pestle and they level quite fast
first one is not available for mobile players,since ark mobile doesnt have different maps,but the others might be good

pain. I use mobile and there is some content that is not available on mobile. Such as loot drops. We have absolutely n o n e. (in solo)

Yes you can unless you have friendly fire off in the settings then you can’t ;)
I have a problem, my rexes won’t do any dmg to the babies, what do I do?
If that’s the case it means that your server has friendly fire turned off, you need to turn it on in order for it to work unfortunately

You get xp from any level of dino but the xp amount gets multiplied by the dinos level. Do the higher the level the more xp you get

Yes it does. If you kill then with your dino you share the xp but if you kill it in your own then you get full xp for it
